Hello All Well Im back on line and still trying to decipher some of the new bits on here, have lost notepad so am now doing what Mel and others taught me today, have opened up GR twice, hope I dont bugger it up and lose what I add. the ending's always different hey? the cat always just sneaks in and grabs it. we're (i'm)much too boisterous. I don't sneak off to the laundry, only the washing line. lol. we haven't got anything good to munch out on. Bought possum some gluton free orange biscuits, but my remarkable self control stops me eating them. I'm not happy with him though. One of the ladies at work gave him this huge box of yummy choccies. he shared them around the staff room, gave his students some, gave me a handful, then took them back to work and left them there. i nearly chucked a hissy fit - he said he didn't want to contribute to the posterior, or even provide the temptation. how caring !!!!!Not love Yvette x

Hi Jood, What I was asking is that, the machine tells it to log off after an hour of being on, instead of me closing it down when Im ready to, the techy has done that and im not sure how to turn it off Shaz

It's a bit hard Shaz, as you have Optus net and I have Internode. If I were you, I'd ring the Optus site and ask them to talk you through - its probably just clicking on something and unchecking or checking a box - that simple. Was Poss. thinking of you do you think Fanny .. lol .. I agree it was not nice of him. What's this fixation you have with the clothes line Fanny? Puss there is only about 90 numbers to go till the next one! Jood

I kinda remember that dial up has different limits to how long a single session length can be. Mine used to close after 20 minutes of inactivity, or 5 hours continual usage on line. that means after a certian time i would have to log on again. You can fix your 'puter to stay connected to the maximum allowable (set by your server) time , or prevent logging off via inactivity,. ie, automatic refresh at regular intervals. I haven't had it for a while, check your account details. If the technician came courtesy of the int. provider, they may have a certain time frame they set it for. which means you end up making lots of calls just to log on. yvette x

Evening Wattlers It's Carnival of Flowers in Toowoomba and have been hanging around the main park all night whilst darling daughter listened to some horrible rock band. It was freezing. The things we do for our kids! I'm going to have a hot cup of coffee. Anyone heard from the Queen? Good on you Fanny for getting the number. OK Thanks Jood, will wait till Monday and ring the techy see what he says unless somebody reads and can help from wattle Nitey Nite Shaz, whose off to bed XXX Actually, have noticed that when I log off now, my mouse doesnt even close down, I have one with a light in it and after logging off machine I notice the mouse stays connected all the time, driving me crazy, should have rung today but seeing as I never came into the study today I forgot about it, gosh since having updated this blasted computer have had to learn a few new things and this old brains is slowly wearing a bit thin he he, as you all know i have this dreaded ailment called CRAFT disease LOL Really off to bed now Good night All, have a good weekend and see you on Monday am going out with Pat for dinner tomorrow night so wont see you all till then Oo Roo XX
