Just checking in before I hit the hay, TLR came home and wisked me off out to tea and a night at the club - and when we came home I fell asleep in the armchair !!! Too many drinkiepoos I think!! Lovely night though - good music, good food, and good company. No sign of the Queen, poor love hope sleep is coming easy. I had a big freeze this afternoon Joodles, but eventually my msg's went on their way - for a time they were backed up going nowhere . . . think it was a server problem though. Think I have found the right button to flick to get ZA to let the mail thru . . . but it threw a lot to the wind on me today. Glad you gave up that idea of spring cleaning Flakey, can't have you showing the rest of us up . . . 'A clean house is a sign of a broken puter!!' Seems Joodles and Yvette were playing more that word games tonight . . . number games featured there too !!! Next time Mel . . . Hope you get a little rain on your turf now - does wonders for it !! Mary what did they dish you up for 'French' night - snails ?? frogs legs ?? French fries ???? We have a nice little French restraunt down on the corner here, very good food, and a lovely atmosphere too. I am quiet partial to the old snails myself. Will ring you tomorrow Shaz - too late now - you are a sweet thing !! Ah Anna - love Carnival of Flowers - enjoy it for me. Is it still as spectacular even with the water shortage ??? The gardens in your city are so bootiful, Rays 'ex-sister' (he deleted her - teehee - I'm not even allowed to have her on our family tree) used to live up there years back, she had a glorious old home up on the range, with massive gardens (and a gardener to tend it). It was wonderful, little rooms all over the place - sadly it was developed and is no more! The ex-B-I-L was psych proffessor at the Uni up there. Teehee The B-I-L was the Navy psych when I was in the WRANS, interesting having him access me for promotion so it was!!! (I was ony the girlfriend at the time) . . . memories flooding back . . . . Come on you lot.. Waky waky rise and shine... A beautiful day today and I think I will have a swim today...The new Daiken works well and the unit was lovely and warm last night.when we got back from our dinner.. The French night was a great success and the food was loverly. French Onion Soup with the crusty bread floating on top Boned breast of chicken done with a lovely sauce resting on a bed of mash, with snow peas and a baby squash with a lovely filling in the inside of it which tasted yummy but dont ask me what it was.. some sort of tomato mixture I think. Then the usual yummy profiterolls with icecream and a lovely strawberry sauce.. With that we had 2 bottles of wine between 3 of us as DIL was driving poor thing .. I think I will have a quiet day today and try and clean up all the dust due to the drilling through brick walls yesterday. Back later and will get around to sending a pick or two.. Love Mary xxxxx

Wots this about wakey wakey Mary - I bin awake for 2 hours now .. pmsl Your french dinner sounded sooo lovely Mary - things are going sooo well for you now. .. One of these days I will visito your pool!!!! Sort of felt a bit funny this morning after my first BP pill - not quite all there! But since I've had a shower I'm beginning to feel normal again. .. I'm amazed the effect one BP tablet has on me. (sorta like the VB tablet after many of them, eh Tony? lol) A visit to the dentist for me today - have some sensitivity in a back tooth and I rather suspect a filling will be required. Off to feed my face - certainly nothing wrong with my appetite lol Jood

Hi Joodles.. Do you have a blood pressure machine.. Would be a good idea as you can keep a record of your blood presure and see if it goes up to much..OH has one and has found it extremely useful.. Yes Mary, bought one yesterday (paid for by my health benefit fund tee hee) - The first reading was horrific - but I allowed for the fact that I may not have been using it properly. Last night and this morning I got error msg every time, so going up to the chemist shortly to find out what I am doing wrong. Have been up for hours I'll have you all know - been walking, had a leisurely brekky, read the papers, cleaned out my inbox - it was bulging - and now I'm checking in with the Wattlers. Sunny day so far for the carnival parade - rain forecast for later on today so hope it stays away for the parade. Last year the parade had to be cancelled due to very high wind gusts. The wind also wrecked some of the prize winning gardens but at least it's nice and calm today. Julie Cat - Pppppppppppppppp! Why wouldn't you be up you saucy wench. Jood - good luck at the dentist. I've been on high blood pressure tablets for years and I have no side effects whatsoever. What sort are you taking? My BP is always about 130/90 now. Still higher than it usd to be but within acceptable limits. My blood pressure went up when I was pregnant with Katherine and never came down again. Mary - lovely dinner. Glad you had someone to drive you home! How is our Queen today? Hope to hear from you soon Trifles my love. Chris is outside digging a spot for our rain water tank to go. It won't be delivered until the middle of next month but he gets enthusiastic and has to get right in and get it done. We had to get rid of some shrubs etc which is a shame but hopefully we'll be able to keep the rest of the garden alive once we have the tank. I feel guilty being on here when himself is outside digging so best go and add some moral support. Catch you all later XX Anna

Morning Wattlers, very quiet in here this morning. Cloudy and very still in Melb today,sun should come through later. I intend to wash the windows today after yesterdays pathetic effort. Morning Wattlers. Using Barbs Lap top at the moment. Can i ask a favour please. My main computer crashed last night, and will not let me access the internet or Email. Could you please remove me from your Email contacts at the moment thanks, until i find out what the problem is. Terry's mother was on bp tablets for 40 years and she still died, lol (she was 91!) Beautiful day today. Not a cloud in the sky. Currently 15C, but expected to reach a very pleasant 23C. The lawn has started to grow, so it looks like I'll be spending a couple of hours on the mower. How's the fanatic Tassie coming along? Found all your bits and bobs to display.
