Morning Again. Message just received from the Queen: 'I got home last night to a bewdiful bunch of yellow flowers. I LOVE 'EM. Thank you very much. I feel like s**t this morning so the flowers help take my mind off it. The surgeon put the porta-cath in the right side just below the clavicle. The area is, of course, as sore as hell and uncomfortable. Graeme has gone to get my script for panadiene forte filled so I think I might take a couple of those and spend the day in bed. Can you pass on a feable wave to the rest of the Mad Lot for me please? Tell them the surgeon loved my hair. He even got me to take off my paper theatre hat to show the anaesthetist, scrub nurse etc. They all seemed impressed.....perhaps not just because of the style, but because I'm not going down in a screaming heap. Big hugz and my love to you both Trifley X' I'll phone her tomorrow and report again. Perhaps when we win Lotto tonight we can all fly up to visit her. Lew Lew xxx

Ooooerrrr I've been SUCH a good girl :) Morning everyone :) Special~~~~~~~~~ to our Queen XXXXXX Did some washing, tidied the Lounge room, 'rode' 4 kms and started filing personal papers. Don't think I'll get to my FH till this afternoon as I have to clear several years of tax stuff first. My room looks lovely. A BIG desk flanked either side by 2, 4-drawer filing cabinets plus a smaller 2 draw cabinet for my English stuff. Will take a while but I am soooo excited to have a place of my own :) Hubby didn't leave till 10 o'clock so I couldn't really get started sorting papers till he left. (hence all the h..........k! Love to all and be back later Vonny

Just got off the phone talking to Trifley, and like she said in her email sends her luv to everyone. She loves the flowers, she said when she is feeling a little down she just looks at them and feels good cause she knows we are thinking of her. She was quick off the mark to give Lew & me all the credit (or was it blame) so I put her right that it is a wattler affair and she is most grateful - Jude she said to tell you that they are so lovely, and it means heaps to her. Her account of the reaction to her hair was hilarious! The sense of humour is in fine form. Catch you all later luv Laurie

Good Morning loverly Wattlers bootiful day in Melbourne, not a cloud in the sky and its going to be 20 deg. Just right for some gardening too nice to be inside. Yes Lew the cottage is coming along nicely but it will be even better when I can actually 'use' the kitchen. B****y plumber still hasn't been to connect taps and gas to the stove (bottled gas) I had to end up putting a bowl under the sink cause I kept forgetting and tipped stuff down the sink and ended up with water etc everwhere. Least it isn't getting dirty lol. Thanks for the pics Jood, Mel you look like you fitted right in - send me your address and I'll post you a wattle key ring if you would like one. Hope you are feeling a little better today Trifley, have Graeme and Mark got used to you new hairdo yet? Ken is now sporting a similar haircut - got to him with the clippers last night - was supposed to be a no 4 ....but -I must remember not to get near clippers after a wine or two, no 4 end fell off and I didn't notice - so now he is close cropped - lol. Thankfully he doesn't mind or care - however this morning he has clonked his head on the hoist about 5 times - his early warning system has been lopped off! He has grown a beard again but keeps it short like a 5 day growth and the boys told him he looks like a thug. He said thanks very much! Well $22 mil in lotto tonight - fingers and toes xxxx we get a big share of it ,Tony needs a new computer and plasma TV, Barb needs a get out of goal ticket (just kidding - lol)and a new bed , we all need a holiday to Kew on a wattle cruise ship, oooh the list goes on. Hi all Tony sorry sent you a couple this morning before I came on here and read your message mate hope it gets fixed quick and in case you didn't get my thank you for lotto numbers . I can see him sitting up in a hospital bed in a strait jacket and saying omg did you all see that ladies hair I thought I was hallucinating and you saying' its alright I'm real its me Queenie ' hehehe. Mary your special dinner sounds lovely makes me hungry and two bottles of wine between three of you must have been a nice drop ? Jood do go and find out rre your bp monitor no use having it otherewise and for goodness sake watch the bp can be so dangerous . Its funny I dont no if Ive told you this before but when ever I go to a strange DR ( meaning one havn't been to before) they say oh before we give you these tablets lets check the BP and then they look at me funny as though omg that can't be right and thats my cue to say oh perfectly normal eh and they laugh and say yes it is thats great as because I'm ever so slightly O 'bloody' BESE they think it will be ginormeous but its perfect and always has been . Lew won't be long girl had my pool set up by pool man at home last week and he said it should be perfect now when I get home yippee have to go now bloody Error Safe just made me lose this and made the message add before I'd finished it its back GRRRRR

Boy, I'm going back through tax stuff from 10 years ago!!! Burning everything - should have done it in Winter!!! Got to clear personal stuff out before I can concentrate on FH. :( back later Vonny

Hi Wattlers, No I haven't left town, just a bit busy. Busy helping neville with his computer. Just to let you know, Neville is computer illiterate and he has built this computer just for music. It is attached to a midi keyboard and he has on a virtual organ, that he can play. On Tuesday I bought him a program to write music. Now in a few short weeks I have learnt how to build a puta from scratch, how to play a keyboard, how to read and write music. I have also taught Neville to do same. Sorry Neville can already play a keyboard and read and write music, just not through a puta. These are skills that I never craved to learn, but the things we do for love. Hopefully, he is now up and running, just the occasional help coming from his room. I was now hoping to get back to my friends, but now we have to go to Montville tomorrow, so that will be another day away. I hope all is well with you all. I haven't read the messages yet, apart from this page, so forgive me if I do not pass on good wishes or get wells. Trifley, I hope that you are now feeling better. I think you are about the bravest 'lady' I know, to have had that wonderful cut and colour. Gotta go, fingers crossed for tonight Luv SuzyQ might be back later

Hi everyone My internet connection is very iffy at the moment.. On one minute and off the next..and very slow.. Dont know what the problem is but the ADSL light is flicking so we may have a problem somewhere..If you cant get me you will know why,, I havent received any pickles yet so hope some will come soon..As soon as this stupid internet is stable I will send some also.. back soon I hope Love Mary xxxx

Good Afternoon Waffler/Watters. What a lovely day it's been I love Spring, even dragged out the shorts, my legs don't look to bad in shorts it's what's around the middle I need to get rid of lol. Joodles I hope you take your BP tablets as you should, my doc say's take them at the same time every day if possible, I have been on them now for 6years with no probs. How was the dentist? not to horrible I hope. Glad you had a nice lunch yesterday. trifley hope your feeling more yourself soon. Mary your dinner sounded nice and was you feeling ..nicely nicely after your wine....good on you. just the other day i had a contact with a lady on my Mothers line and turns out she lives in Bridgetown WA, I invited her to join us, told her what a wonderful group of Wattlers we were and explained how we formed ect, her name is Joan so I hope she might be brave eoungh to join us here and I know you will make her welcome. well had better get the washing in, catch you later Cheers Sandra in the Gong

sandra, no problems with the tooth - at the moment its just coming out of the numbness, where you are likely to bite on your lip, and its itchy!! As for the dentist - enough said. .. I'd never been to him before, it was in a old house around the side, old equipment, only a tiny overhead light. Dentist was old, and was coughing (quite a bit). .. He did the work ok (a filling in last back tooth) - but was actually leaning on my arm while he did it - very unprofessional. .. I was glad to have the filling done, but I wont be going back to him.. lol $110 for 25 mins. work. Jood

Jood, dentists can be very unproffesional. Last time I went about a year ago, to have my front tooth filled, he made a complete mess of it and I noticed the other day it is already starting to break. First time I had it done it lasted about 15 years, next time 7 and this last time 1 year. And like you cost over $100.00 for 10 mins work. Where did we go wrong. Bye till Monday Luv SuzyQ
