Morning Wattlers. Very hazy here again this morning. You can see the smoke drifting in from the coast. Oi you lot over there, we don't want it. If you take it back, we'll reclaim all our top soil that blow there on Sunday, lol. Very sore foot this morning. I managed to stand on a piece of shaved steel yesterday and now it's swollen! Lucky I've already had a tetanus shot. It's right on the ball of the foot and hurts heaps. I'll give it a couple of days, but I might need some anti-hydroponics :-( We're going to Bunnings, We're going to Bunnings!!! Going to spend hours just wandering around, hooray. Morning Wafflers Another glorious day on the Bay, it was absolutely beautifool earlier, a pink tinge to the grey of a waking day, there was a fully laden container ship leaving the Port, and the wake behind it had the pink tinge in the grey of the water . . . then as the sun rose higher in the sky - the pink tinge turned to gold! At the moment there is only one lonely little giraffe with its head held high . . . so a busy dock this morning. I have just had some fab news from Denmark, not for myself, but for a GR friend. My contact over there has found her father on the parish records. It gives his d of birth and where, date of baptism and where, both parents full names, their date and place of birth, what the grandfather did for a living, date and place of marriage, plus the gtgrandparents were the godparents so their full names, and dates of birht and occupations are listed as well. Her father was 3 when the parents divorced and he ended up adopted out and he knew nothing of his parents except that they were Danish. How lucky was I to have met Sidsel & Erik in Singapore earlier this year !!! . . . I know, it was planned by them that wanted to be found!! teehee Morning Jude, Anna & Lew . . .
