Mary, Ive been lurking for hours - currently doing family history on my daughters side (ex husband) (I'm referring to ex mother in law who we discovered was adopted, so having a lot of fun chasing this family who appear to be pioneers in West Oz - including our very own <well, not mine> convict) .. Already we have contacted some <of the new> family members in West Oz, and even tho I am not directly related, will be meeting two of the ladies when I go to Perth. .. Seems one went to the same high school, class, and business college, same year, tho we didn't know each other. .. There'll be plenty to talk about !!! Its 8:18am now and I'm still very cold. .. It's lovely and sunny outside, and I think it will be a beaut day. Hz - I bought my footy food yesterday - tater chips, and lite beer. (didn't do the prequisite exercise tho!) Think I'll warm up and have a nice hot shower. Brekky sounds a good idea too. Have a great day everyone Jood (and may the best team win) I mean .... who can I barrack for - Sydney or Perth ???????????????? .. :(

Good Morning Jood, Mary, Heather and anyone else lurking about. I might just beat you all up tomorrow as we start Daylight Saving tonight, so we will be an hour earlier than everyone on the Eastern side of Aus for a month :-)))) I love Daylight Saving time !!!!!!! Well we have the best day here, cool at the moment but sun is shining brightly with hardly a cloud in the sky. I have also been up for a while, already done a load of washing with another nearly finished, wiped down all my windows from the condensation, I dont know why but the other house didnt get as much???? maybe smaller windows and wasnt as bad, not that Im complaining. I went outside this morning at just after 5 to get the paper and it was a beautiful sunrise just starting, with pinks sky on horizion and the city lights below :-))))))) its not a bad view from here. Jood yes dial up is better than nothing I suppose but when you have been spoilt with broadband for about 2 years you really notice the difference. Ooooh footy food ............... I forgot all about getting food and drink ..... quicky checks bar :-))))))))))) its ok we have a bottle of Bundy and a botlle of Beam, no Woody so we will go without that today and we have chippies all we need now is a BBQ and we could sit outside and have a barbie :-)))))) Me being the fanatic that I am :-))))))))) I am not going to go for any team, I cant ........... they are not my colours, but I will be watching it and hopefully the umpires dont make bad decisions that effect the result of the game. May the best team win. Oooh one last thing, I used to follow a team called City South over here before they merged with another team, the great Roy Cazaly also spent some time with this same team when they was just known as City, now their colours were Red and White and I still have my beanie, sooooooooo maybe I could just wear it for today and think I am still living in the past pmsl. Im going now gabbled on toooo much, must get breakky. Cheers Sue

Morning all :) beautiful day here. saw bubs again yesterday and she is still cute as :) Her mum was up and about and had made dinner so asked us to stay for tea!!! can't get over these modern mums!!!! Mind you, I remember my own mum saying the same thing :) So much changes over the years. D says that the way the hospital does some things has changed even in the last 18 months!! Ducky, she was in a 4 bed ward and she doesn't mind being woken up for her own bub, but can't stand being woken up by others!! She also has a wonderful husband who helps her sooooo much. Thanks for the numbers Tony. I'm off to the shops to buy some folders :) ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Vonny

Morning everyone. Iv'e been up early too....:>)) Got up about 30 min ago...lol, and watched the Grandfinal breakfast on 9. Then remembered it was Barb's birthday today, so made her a cuppa and toasted some crumpets with jam and bought them up to her on a tray, with a few pressies to open. Barb requested that we go ten pin bowling for her birthday, so booked a lane for tonight. Both Barb and myself played league Ten pin bowling for years before we lost interest. Will be watching the Footy today, so go the Swans. Hope everyone has a great day catcha ron. Tony Oz...:>))

Happy birthday Barb - .. I'm sure Tony didn't really forget your birthday!!!! .. (He just says that) .... Happy bowling too, I love it. .. Just don't do what I sometimes do, go to bowl the ball and it drops and goes backwards :( .. <always gets a few laughs too :( No firies (flies, sorry) on me, Lew :)) Mary - I'm torn between two sides - one half of me says Swans, the other says Eagles. .. I mean, Swans are Perth's emblem too - which makes it difficult. At least I am not wearing either colours today - so it can make up its own mind who wins .. lol Jood <who is not really here, she is in her bedroom making the bed, or rather, she is supposed to be!> Thanks for the update Ma'am (Lew)

Good morning (well just gettting in I think) Wattlers from a verry happy mummy - so nice to have family around you. Its a sunny day here - but very windy - just had to take down the Bronco's flags cause I thought they would blow away. Ray has just taken Glen, Narelle & Amanda for a drive out to the warehouse at Campbelltown to show Glen his birthday/chrissy pressie. We got him a lovely big carved wooden outdoor setting from Indonesia, and it arrived in a container yesterday. Now everytime he has a meal outdoors - we will be with him! We had an amazing night last night, Glen and Narelle didn't get in till 9.30 (45min delay) and we sat out on the balcoonie with some nice reds till 1.30am, talking, laughing - remembering! Amanda and Paul were so mean to Glen when they were teenagers - and we are just learning how much . . . teeheee came out last night that he wasn't allowed to walk with them to and from the bus - he had to be at least 10mtrs behind !!! The stories we heard last night !!!! When they get home TLR & Glen will stay in and watch the Swans, while I will take the two girls out for some retail therapy. Great to have you back on full power Devily, and Shaz, hope you have done as I requested and asked for a referal. Looking forward to having you back with us Lara . . . have a safe trip and a lovely time catching up with Pat. Listen to the bod Oh Great Queen, and rest when it needs it !!! ((hugs)) HAPPY 21ST BARB . . . luv and wishes from us xoxoxo Going to go back and catch up on the readfest - and the mail . . . Catch up with you when I can . . . luv Laurie

Hello. Just wanted to thank you for your birthday wishes. Looking forward again to meeting you in Feb with Tony. Hello Lara. Hope you and Mike are having a lovely holiday in Queensland. The boy is watching the football, and he wont know what to do with himself once its over, but i am sure i can find something around the house for him to do for the next ten years. He is full of it, so dont beleive everything he raves on about, but i am sure you have already worked that out. Thanks again. Barb
