A very excited Trifley runs onto thread...... I got a reply from my PM about the family I've been dreaming about. The GR member thinks it might be her family....we are now in discussion.....yaaayyy Now (assuming a more regal pose) I think you are right, Joodles. Sitting, sipping, sodas...ah...I mean martoonies... through a straw sounds the way to go for me in Mudgee. Old blue eyes was a repeat but still it's better than nothing. TX

Just finished my TV programme so am off to bed.. Jood The big Home Super Center is about 4km down the the road in Terrey Hills.next door to Bunnings.Corner of Forest Way and Mona Vale Road..They are advertising for staff so it wont be long before it opens.. Good evening all You are all off to bed - it's only 10pm - you're a lot of party poopers. I hope you don't think you're sneaking off to bed at 10pm at Mudgee. By the way - bags me being the time keeper with the stop watch at Mudgee. I'll be very big hearted and time the laps!! I really don't like being submerged in water - it gets in your eyes and your ears and up your nose. Don't panic - I do shower daily! Hope Tamika gets the job Tassie. It's so good for them being responsible and they love the independence of earning their own pocket money. Good luck with the toofy pegs. I've been to a meeting of the Toowoomba Literary Society this evening - they invited representatives from the 3 writing groups in Toowoomba to read one of their stories. It was really great - some very talented writers around. Trifles - you are sparkly again. So good to have the sparkles back. Jood - are the hens moulting? They don't lay when they are moulting. Great Joy . . . Our Lara is home safe and sound in her own bed tonight! Glad you are able to unravel your mystery Oh Great Queen, be lovely if you were able to catch up with an old friend. It has made me think about an old friends of my own and decide to look for her. I have made contact with a lot of old school friends and friends from my Navy days on the Friends Reunited site (I was a member for years there before I came onto GR) - but still like to find out where my 'Twin' is. Julie and I were born in the same room on the same day (I am 20mins older than her) and always had our birthday parties together untill we were 13. My eyelids are droopy so I'm off to bed . . . catch you all tomorrow . . . hope you got as much out of today as there was to be had! luv Laurie

But we had a lovely evening with all the 'kids' catching up on photos of the Birmingham trip and, of course, another cuddle with the grands :) Off teaching today cause we are going away camping tomorrow, so I have moved tomorrow's lessons to a day earlier. Good morning Wattlers For goodness sake don't stick your head out of the Wattle thread - it's venomous out there - again! Well - fancy me getting a big one and not even knowing about it - thanks Jude for bringing it to my attention! Chris has reported in via email - he is off to Rottnest Island today on his friend's boat - I'm not jealous, I'm not jealous, I'm not jealous... besides, I get sea sick! His friend has built a beautiful house on a small subdivided block at Leederville Jude. His friend is the Principal of a a special needs school in Perth and his wife is a travelling support teacher. They also have a daughter about Katherine's age - the older ones are all around the world. It's funny that both Chris and his friend who share so much history from earlier years both had a daughter in their mid forties! He and John actually worked in Perth 30 years ago when they took a break from teaching. They headed off overseas from Perth for 2 years. John came back and stayed there because he liked it so much. Chris came back to Toowoomba - at least he did until he was sent off to many far flung regions of Queensland teaching. Good luck today Tassie - it will all be worth it in the end. Welcome back Lara - you'll be so pleased to be back on broadband in your own little paradise. Best I wake the girls up - they have another friend arriving at 10 so they can work on a script for a film they are doing together. Have a great day everyone. Happy birthday Sarah Jane. hi wattlers, my car needed to visit the mechanic this morning, so i caught the bus to uni. 1 1/4 hour of blissful reading. wish i could do it more often. The atmosphere beyond the waffle is tad premenstrual to say the least. Where do they get the energy from? The day looked picture perfect when I left home.
