Good grief you lot can waffle! So much to catch up on! First of all , congratulations to Tamika for gettting the job. Well done - she must have presented as beieng very confident and capable. The staff discount sounds good! Gwenda - glad the news about your legs is good. Shame about the bill. At least you now have peace of mind. Vonny - enjoy your trip. It will be lovely to get away for a while and don't worry about your daughter. She will be fine. Lew - you are going to be like a model by February - you'll put us all to shame. You'll just have to love me cellulite, deathly pale skin et all. Fluff - it just ain't natural to be bathing a cat. They hate water. You should just give her a haircut. A number 1 would be great for the hot months ahead. Oooh! Trifley.I am imagining you bathed in a pink glow sipping pink martoonies! Now don't go over stimulating Nefer and the boys. Shazz - glad you are feeling better and that the fairy dust helped. I'll have to send some to SuzyQ now. Sounds as if she needs a bit of sparking up. Flakey Jude - enjoy the wedding and you can do the Queenie thing up on Hamilton Island. Jill - I am madly jealous of you going to the Forest of Dean and Wales. That's where my ancestors are from. They spread out to Herefordshire, then Glamorgan. But originally Dean men. Where are your lot from? Mine were working in the mining towns - Merthyr Tydfil, Pontypridd, Dowlais, then as the mines closed down, to Cardiff on the docks. They ended up in Penarth not far from Cardiff. Still have cousins in Penarth and Stoke on Trent. Hope that the 13 th birthday at the Hull household went swimmingly. No Tony on line tonight - too much lemonade and birthday cake?????? :>)) Well guys - I'm trying to make some sense of all my bits of FH paper that are taking over the cupboard. However I'm running out of steam and may call it a night. It will all still be there tomorrow. Sleep tight and sweet dreams XX Anna |

Just a quick visit.....I have my puta back....yaaayyy I turned it on and was amazed at the difference in speed. It starts up well and moves soooo quickly between pages...it's wonderful. Having a good amount of RAM is obviously the way to go. Had a call from my sister tonight....my 28 yr old gt-niece has a lump in her breast. She's having a mammogram tomorrow so I was wondering if all you wonderful peeps would keep her in your thoughts, please? Bed time for me...sleep well everyone. Hugz Trifley X |

Morning all, Thoughts to your great niece Trifley - and congratulations to Tamika. Here's one to start your day off A Preacher finished the service one morning by saying, 'Next Sunday, I am going to preach on the subject of liars. As a preparation for my sermon, I would like you all to read Mark 17.' On the following Sunday, the preacher rose to begin. Looking out at the congregation he said, 'Last week I asked you all to read Mark 17. If you have read the chapter, please raise your hand.' Nearly every hand in the congregation went up. Smiling, the preacher said, 'You are the very people I want to talk to today. Mark has only 16 chapters.' Ooops!!! Good to see you back Shazz Anna, Leederville was close to where I lived, and I have stayed on Rottnest Island. Love to all and have a great day Jood |

Good Morning Wafflers, A little grey on the bay this morning, some darker clouds gathering on the horizon, so maybe some rain on its way here today . . . I will be trying to push it west!!!! Three giraffe necks stretched high, and a block of flats is headed out of the heads as I type. Hope Sarah had a lovely birthday, I'm sure Mum & Dad enjoyed it too. Looking back, the teenager years were amazing, those baby individuals turning into adult individuals, taking on causes, developing their own oppinions on things outside the family walls . . . at the time I didn't think I would survive . . Am sure my parents felt the same way. Will be thinking of your girl today Oh Great Queen! Hope the legs are OK Gwenda, must have been a big scare for you - its something that is on my mind heaps when I travel. I guess Tamika is on a high, Devily, good on her! your little girl is growing up! Phew, now your budget wont have to be stretched to cover the 'girly must haves' not to mention the family discount card! Twas lovely when Glen worked at Woolies - nice padding on the grocery bill in particular. How are you this morning Suzy Q ?? 1000mg Vit C EVERY morning . . . !!!!! Lewcrella - which one of the dwarfs are you this morning ?? I woke up Sleepy, but hes gone to work now. Enjoy your weekend camping Vonny, and Flakes have a great time up at the wedding - Lara, you have a lovely time at the wedding down sowf too . . . and enjoy the visit from Cassie and Jason even if it is only a short one. Nice to see you back to giving a bit of cheek Shaz . . . hope you threw that diet shake stuff away. With all those extra Rams Trifles, you will be looking to buy a bit more dirt soon . . . or at least a few ewes, they are all going cheap at the sales at the moment - apparently sales were way down at Wagga markets yesterday, Oni had some at the sales there the week before and prices were about double - she is kicking herself now she didn't send more. They still have a fair bit of stored grain, but no water ! Morning Joodles, Devily, Vonny, Lyn & Yvette (X2), you have all come in since I started to type this . . . got sidetracked!!! What have you got on your agenda Joodles . . ?? Are you still on chicken herder duties or is little family back home ??? Waffled enough . . . best go put a load in the machine (not as organised as you Vonny) Have a good one . . luv Laurie |

Hi again Been busy putting some stuff on ebay. .. Haven't sold anything for months, Ebay got worried, and said I could sell 5 things for free, so rushing around grabbing stuff. .. (All new, I might add) And last night I did my tax on line - bit nerve racking. .. I have done it the last two years. .. So quick, really. I'm still on chicken herding duties, or should I say 'kicking broody chook out' duties for another two days. .. It should be reasonably quiet tomorrow to go up, when the practice runs are on at Bathurst, as most of the traffic would have arrived there. .. Monday I am heading up the mts to a meeting, so it won't be out of my way to drop in to DD's house. .. She's 15 minutes drive away. Didna wanna wake up this morning and it was after 6.30am too - not like me. Poor Lyn, didn't mean to shame you that much (I found her on that OTHER thread, Wattlers - tsk tsk) Enjoy your camping weekend Vonny .. I've been to Dhue National Park many times with the four wheel drive club. .. I guess I miss that most of all. .. Being in the bush, sitting round a campfire, being with friends. Grey & white clouds outside today - whether that means rain, hard to tell. Jood |

Morning All, well Laurie, I'm actually Sneezy this morning. All this dust has finally taken its toll and I'm full of hayfever. It will pass. Trifles, hugs supportive hugs for the great niece. What a frightening time for her and her family. Gwenda, I've had trouble before with swelling whilst travelling and I found that it's because I didn't move my legs enough while just sitting there. Now I do lots of leg movement and that seems to have done the trick. Must have losts a little bit of weight, 'cause I'm wearing a bra today that I normally can't. Gotta be happy about that! Vonny, have fun camping and avagoodweekend. ~~~waves to all the others she hasn't mentioned~~~ Lew Lew xxx |

But Anna, I'm not sick :( pppppppppppp to Lew (but you deserve it *kicks ground with her foot, just coz she doesnt have a pool to practice in and get slim*) Thank goodness my years and years of hayfever are over. .. I thought it was just Perth weather that made me sneeze, Canberra was no better as we were near farms, moved to Sydney - just as bad. .. Then after about 20-30 years it suddenly stopped - I might get one bout of it a year if that. .. Woo hoo Jood |

Morning peeps....:>)) Public holiday allocated today in Melbum in honor of myself.....lol Sunny day...so far....Shhhhhhh Sarah thanks everyone for their birthday wishes. She had a quite 13th compared to most teenage birthdays. Funny kid...dosent like parties, or whoo-ha, and prefers just a couple of mates to share her birhday. She did quite well in the pressies, but only wanted one gift...Yes, a new mobile phone ( as most teenagers want ) so the plastic bought her one of those LG 3 prepaid that does everything except make coffee. I really think Sarah was being kind to her mum, as our house inside is A over T at the moment. The main bedroom is in the Lounge. The lounge is in the Familyroom. The family room is scattered to the 4 corners of the house stacked in boxes, and you need a road map to find out where you might be sleeping at any given time.....LOL C'mon.....you didnt really think Barb was going to let me stop at the Main bedroom.( She's a woman ) Strike while the iron is hot.......is her Motto....hee hee Sighned:Yours truly. Have paint brush will travel...Oz Tassie. Congrats for Tamika mate. Nothing like being independant. My elder girls started there first jobs at Safeway's, Priceline, Myer's and the likes. Great experiance learning how to deal with he general public.Best wishes to her. Trifley. Best wishes and positive thoughts for your G,Neice. Vonny. Have a great holiday mate. Camping is one of my favourite past times, but dont get as much time now as i used to, but i can feel a fishing trip coming up soon with a few mates. Jude. ( Flakey ) Have a nice trip to Hamilton. I'm sure you must have shares in that Island.........lol Everyone else coming and going. Enjoy. Best wishes to all the sickies. Take care. Have a great day peeps. Tony Oz.....:>)))) Flat out like a lizard drinking. |

Good Morning wonderful wattlers Vonny have a wonderful weekend communing with nature -glad its you lol - I'm a motel kinda girl (says she who has been living in chaos every weekend for months - several of those without floors or a kitchen!) Gwenda so glad the legs are ok - did the Dr admire how toned they were after all your walking. Maybe the swelling was from over use? see excercise isn't good for you ( Jude ducks a big smack from Fanny and runs off laughing) Lara welcome home - looking forward to lots of news Well Flakey will be in the air half way to Hamilton - she is missing a great day here in Melbin. Tassie great news - congratulations Tamika especially the discount part. Trifley ((hugs )) and your great niece will be in all our thoughts I'm sure. Went to bunnings last night on the way home from work - had to exchange some decking oil - sent Ken down for it - and he came back with treated pine oil when we needed merbau! Just had to visit the garden dept. so got some new herbs and some potting mix. On the way back to the register spotted 'pink' globes and thought wonderful I'll get one for home and the other one to put on the front porch of DIY manor (Mary must have sent me thought waves on this one!). The other pink globe I put in the downstairs loo and waited for which one of the males in the household would make a comment. Jonathon came out to me later in the night saying why is there a pink glow to the loo? - . He said its very disconcerting for a bloke to p** in pink light. He said its like the blue lights to stop drug users. pmsl- Its now on the back decking - wait until Ken tries to BBQ next - lol. I also bought Cleo a pressie- some cat grass - I must have got some puss plus points up she was elated - Ken grumbled whats wrong with her eating ordinary grass. I swear she gave him a dirty look and then she stalked off in a huff. She went and sat on the ducted heating vent just because she knows it annoys him.lol Shazz glad to see your back in form. Fluffy only washed Cleo twice and decided it just wasn't worth the shredded body parts -mine not hers. lol Well best do some work to earn my keep catch u later ~~~~ hello to everyone I haven't mentioned xx jude |
