Good morning you lot Because of you lot, I slept in and went for my morning walk late - and now I'm all behind..... Just look at you Miss Mary Goody Two Shoes - planning and scheming and then sitting back watching all hell break out! Bread and water rations for you for a week! And Laurie had our Queen all upset as she thought she was about to be dethroned or excommunicated or somethin. Shame, shame , shame. Gwenda - hope the legs go back to normal soon - perhaps the fluid tablets will help. For goodness sake don't take anything that quack from Mudgee offers you as I have grave doubts about her bona fides. Bad news about the Bathurst crash - sure puts a dampener on the rest of the weekend. I don't know how the families of those people involved in such dangerous sports cope. I would feel sick with worry all the time. Jood - go to the naughty corner. Christmas doesn't get a look in at our house until the school year is finished. It's been that way all our teaching lives and old habits die hard. I guess we'll be at home - the few rellies that we have seem to think that everyone comes here for Christmas dinner! They are cheaper than 'anti-embolism' stockings from a chemist but work well. You need ones which are graduated....stronger at ankles...easying off as they go up the legs. Afternoon all Has taken me ages to catch up on all the pages but have just about p*******d myself laughing. Wilson I agree with you, anyone coming on here would think we are a bunch of lunatics. Not a nice day here today, all cloudy but no rain. Jill my butt muscles are still sore, so I think I'll have a quiet day. Your trip sounds really good. Do you want me to carry your bags for you. When I was in England in 2003, we had a bus driver who had a thing about roundabouts. At least once every day he would go round and round and round. Had to have his daily fix. The funniest time was in Scotland when we were going to a pub for dinner.Tiny little roundabout, big bus going round and round and the looks on people's faces was priceless. Arvo. The boss has sent me the Lotto numbers, so have posted off to all. Mary have a great trip down to Dunolly. Haven't been up there for yonks. We detected more in Wedderburn, Fryers Creek, Heathcote, and around Graytown ( old P.O.W ) camp. Some of my Hull line were Pioneers in the Donald area....a little place called Cope Cope between St.Arnaud and Donald, my G, Grandad McCarthy and two of his sons were a miners at Ballarat and Bendigo. Barbs pioneer Ancestors were miners at Creswick and Clunes so when we meet up will have to have a yarn about the yellow stuff. Happy hunting.........but if you should hit a biggin ( Nugget.... that is ) it could be the one i buried up there a few years back. It will be easy to tell its mine or not.......its Yellow and very heavy....lol Time to pull out the tools and get this bed finished. I'm sick of sleepin on the floor...hee hee Have a good un. Hi Wattlers, I would like to issue a warning to anyone taking a short break or planning an illness. Don't. It takes too long to catch up and you miss out on all the exciting stuff, like major regal take overs.. Laurie next time you and Mary decide you want to take the throne, first you should lobby the phlebs and give the ruling party a chance to lobby also. It may take longer, but the outcome would be much more democratic. And we could all have a good laugh at the antics used to get our vote. Maybe we should set up rules for dethroning. Any suggestions for future use. As you may have noticed I am feeling a little better today, thankfully the head ache has gone. Yesterday I felt like there were a hundred little men inside my head, banging little hammers trrying to get out. Today I have a sore nose and top lip and for some reason the end of my tongue is sore. Also, all the yucky stuff that wanted out is now stuck in my throat and won't budge. Just a few things I can remember over the last hundred pages, ( well thats what it felt like ) Gwenda, hope the legs get better soon. Look on the brightside and be thankful you didn't have 4 to be xrayed. Well done Tamika, first interview, hope you really enjoy your job and get to buy lots of goodies, but don't forget to save some of it, even if it is only 10%, it will soon add up. Washing dogs and cats, been there. We had a cat who got some weird skin desease, and we had to bath her every day. I recommend armour plate. My dog doesn't eat others left overs, she prefers steak. LOL but she does find some strange perfumes from time to time. Now, my dad's little dog, she loves chook poo and I noticed occasionally she enjoys the odd tasty morsel of cat poo. Why do we love our pets so much. Trifley, I do hope you niece is okay, I had a similar scare at 29 and it turned out fine, but I know she must be really worried. Hugs from me. Looks like the Pink Polo Picnic might get rain. Hope not, if I can find someone to go with I will go for a couple of hours, as long as the head is feeling okay. Shaz, I do hope that every thing is well for you now. I can remember when I was about 10, a friend of my mothers started to take some diet drink that was popular at the time, late 50's early 60's. She ended up in hospital having a stomach operation. I think it all set solid or something. No wonder it was slimming, nothing else would go down. Its one of those things I have always remembered and it put me off any of those products. Jood, our black chooks are the broody ones. The red ones never go broody, they are bred to lay eggs only. The black ones are nice though, some of our black ones are crossed with the red ones and they don't seem to go broody either. When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and 'SUPPORT', to aid you 'PHYSICALLY', ect...ect....ect..........
