Have to admit I prefer the warmer weather although not too hot but I also like the changing seasons cos I get bored with one type of weather all the time. I don't like it too cold though so Jan and Feb are my worse months cos christmas and new year are over and it seems cold and miserable then.

Not really Tony. Last year we got a couple of days of snow but not much and more often than not when it does snow it usually happens just before or after christmas, not on the day itself. Scotland is probably your best bet for snow at christmas in the UK.

Thanks for your well wishes, although it's my OH thats has the male plumbing probs, just got in from the hosp. left him bored and itching to get home. Another doctor is having a look at him this evening, so Ron has promised to ring me with any news. Thanks for the update on Cilla, I wonder what the problem is? Did'nt feel like cooking dinner so picked up a piza with anchovies mushrooms and pepperoni topping, not bad. luv Jillx

Jood. I dont understand mate!......thats what they tell us on the Tele. Yes. the Shipwreck ones a goodie. I think lots of peeps feel that there Ancestors came to Oz.....but they cant find them?.... Well not all ships made it here ( in the early years ) The East and South coast of Victoria was notorious for Shipwrecks......The point between Cape Otway ( light house ) and King Island ( lighthouse ) was very confusing to O/seas Shipping coming in during a storm in the middle of the night, and many Captains made a bad error of judgement. Here's the link Jood. Its a very good site with lots of Info. When you get to the front page, 'click' on Australia......then on 'Australia in General'....some great links overall...Also for Ireland, Scotland, N.Z..and the rest of the world. http://www.ozgenonline(.)com/ Tony oz...:>)) sipping on a Baileys & Ice

A visit to Australia sounds wonderful but my financial circumstances at the moment are in dire straights, and I don't meant the pop group lol, and are likely to be at least until I've finished uni. With two kids on top of that it'll be a while before I have an holiday anywhere lol. Maybe when I've finished uni I'll have a chnace to save and come and pay you all a visit. You have been warned hehehe ;-)
