Evening Peeps. Very hot day in Melb. Reached top of 36.6 and wont drop much during the night. At 8:30 pm still 30c Another warm 30 odd celcus to-morrow for Melb. Fires reported in the Gippsland area and Mt.Baw Baw. in Vic. and many fires in Tasmania and S.A also. Hottest and driest Sept - October reported for Victoria in 150 years Best wishes to everyone. Bit hard to add too much, but I will... I suppose everybody has either *deleted the movie star thing or *filled it in and fwd it to clog up mail boxes. lol. I chose the latter, but wasn't real impressed with Debbie Reynolds cause am far from cute. I would rather be Elizabeth Taylor! Anyway part of the description says beware of backstabbers. This is where I break into waffle(instead of writing my essay) At a previous work place, there was this fair cow. Drove me insane and was sneaky. She had a little draw that she kept all her sneaky goodies in. So I collected a whole pile of cicada shells and put them up the back (wasn't a lover of bugs or nature)of her draw. Well a couple of weeks later we couldn't find the sharp knives... where were they? about 1/2 doz in my pidgeon hole. hmmm neither incident was ever mentioned. but do you reckon it was her? yvette x

Evening Wattlers, (Jood I'm reporting for duty .........) Again just got on here in time to say good night to you all I guess. Have been out walking earlier tonight (after getting in from work) and then decided to polish up the microwave as it is being sent back again (2nd time in a year and only 18 mths old) Would anyone like to know the brand name, so they don't make the same mistake of purchasing one!! We were discussing this particular brand at work and 5 of us have all had probs with that same brand - microwave, washing machine, plasma tv, fridge and DVD player. Anyway to make matters worse bought some special super duper microwave cleaner from the supermarket tonight - some environmentally friendly stuff and blow me if the spray top on it doesn't work!! I feel as if I am having one of those weeks. So true to form I dashed off an email to the company. I always do that whilst I am fuming about a faulty product otherwise it gets left and forgotten. So that's my 3rd email this week complaining about products. Hi to the Wattler girls that I (finally) met for lunch today after having missed my exit off the motorway and had to travel another 20 kms+ before I could get off at the next exit. Meanwhile the lovely girls were sat waiting patiently for me. All starving to death and too polite to order and start without the ditz arriving!! Sorry Laurie, Jood, Shazz and Joy!!!! Is it me or is this site very slow tonight? Anyway must get back to finishing off the microwave. Wondering how on earth I am going to lift it into my car on Saturday? Evening all :) Just reporting in. Busy day today and will be again tomorow so not sure when I will get on. Haven't heard from my little family of sickies so that is a good sign. Damage to car $3,000 (Ouch!) so we will claim on insurance. Hubby put in for his leave for next year - we get almost 5 months with leave + long service. Don't think I want to stay in a boat for 5 months!!! Love to all, special hugs for Fluffy and prayers to accompany you through the night. ~~~~~~~~~~ Vonny
