Evening Wattlers Well we had a beautiful day here today, it didnt get down as cold as expected. I did come on here and was trying to type a message, had kids hoovering around waiting to go out and then a visitor called in, I pressed the wrong key and closed down the whole page, so I gave up in disgust and now that its quiet I came back to catch up on more goss :-))) Earlier there was a subject of towns/cities that both were in UK and also Vic or NSW, well I have a few names that are in Tassie, some I have heard mention on this site, others I am preety sure they are also places in UK. they are Bracknell, Bridgenorth, Bridport, Brighton, Cambridge, Cornwall, Campbelltown, Chudleigh, Derby, Dover, Exeter, Falmouth, Hamilton, Hastings, Launceston, Melton Mowbray, Perth, Redhill, Richmond, Ross, Sheffield, Sidmouth, Somerset, St Helens, St Marys, Swansea, Westbury, Wivenhoe :-)) Tony yes I have saved them incase we have a quizz on places at a later stage:-) I also am missing the footy but we did have a match over here last weekend, it was called a legends match, Vic verses Tas, with some old names running around like Daniel Harford, Paul, Hudson, David Reece Jones, cant think of the others, but yes I am missing footy and hopefully we will win the first match of the NAB cup and then Hawks will play 5 games in Launceston, as winner of Hawks and Melbourne will play winner of Essendon and Carlton in Launceston in the second week of cup. I loved the little ditty and have copied it out and put it on my fridge for all to see :-) If you do come over to Tassie early in New Year. Let us know the dates and we may be able to meet for a coffee if you would like either in Hobart, Richmond or even Lonnie if you are coming to North of state. Still have son staying at our place is going to see what tomorrow brings as to if he is going to find somewhere to live or stay here a bit longer, might be in for a shock if he stays here as he wont be just sitting on playstation or puta all day, he will be going into job clubs or signing up to do a course at TAFE or something. Jude I do hope your Mum is ok after her fall. Well now that I think I have caught up with the goss. I am going to go to bed. ~~~~ to Trifley and Ducky, thinking of you both~~~~ Cheers Sue Cheers Sue

Good morning Wattlers, Sad to see such a great weekend come to an end! TLR has gone off to work nice and relaxed. A glorious, shite and brinny day on Botany Bay - though a little haze and cloud lurks on the horizon. There are three giraffe necks stretched high into the sky, planes arriving and departing at a constant pace, lots of small fishing boats dotting the bay - and the pelicans not far behind hopeing to get a free feed. Rake man is out on the tractor, giving the beach a clean up - Monday is in full swing!!! Tony, have a good time in SA - hope its pleasure! Lara, hope the reunion went well, and you can now enjoy a nice holiday on the GC. I see the 'DIGITAL CAT' (the use of the word 'Angelic' is now banned!!!!) has a recruitment program underway . . . I say if she wants to be all about our numbers then let her have them, but she has to wear the tag to go with it! OH NO, OH NO, OH NO . . !!!!! Just had a horrid thought . . . what if we haven't won the big one yet because the 'Digital Cat' keeps taking our good numbers !!!!! We're all here for you Ducky, you know what to do if you need us . . . Well the Queen will be in her chariot headed for her week of R & R, I have instructions as to how to keep the serfs in order . . (that Lew better get her net up and running soon, I fear I may need assistance) Vonny - thanks for the pickle, sad that the weather wasn't kinder to you. Flakey . . . hope mum is OK, and that her confidence hasn't taken a tumble too. Hope you all have a wonderful week - starting with a nice bright Monday! cheers . . . luv Laurie

Trifley, you Maj, there’s just one thing about cats that I don’t like, it’s what they leave in my garden Anna – well Cat did make a determined effort didn't she, I suppose it was almost cheating Flakey, best wishes to your mum for a speedy recovery from UK Tassie, are you sure you weren’t in UK with all those place names? If you found pork pies in Melton Mowbray, then I bet you were. Waggy

Morning all, Flakey, sorry to hear about your mum. Hope that all the bones knit well. Is Lew Lew's computer down? What happened? What, no pills??? Will we all go into withdrawal??? Must away. Back to busy again. At least with the weather being so variable I had a lively weekend of reading a book in the car so feel quite rested!! ~~~~~~~~~~ catch you later :) Vonny

Morning all, Laurie, Waggy, Vonny, Cat person Vonny, Bigpond itself isn't down, but the exchange that services Lew's property is down for a few days, she sent us a msg from her g/f's place. And yes, she's suffering withdrawal symptoms. Catz, pull the other one .. pmsl Waggy, you keep an eye on her till she goes to bed - no use her hanging around, we won't get to the next big number till - errrmmm - well never mind! The sun is trying desperately to come out, but it's still pretty cool inside. .. I'm not complaining - this is my sort of weather. I'm off to a 'Dieters Delite' party (where everyone brings a plate of diet food) - p.s. - they usually don't - they bring something yummy and fattening lol. See you's all tonight. ... Have a great day. Jood <Hi flucky> <hi fanny> <hi everyone else>

Good Morning All Julie Cat yes we have a St Helens, a very nice place too, it is on our Sunshine Coast of Tassie, our landlord has a holiday home down there and we can go and stay there if it is not being used when we want a break away. Waggy, dont know about pork pies in our Melton Mowbray always pass through it on way to bottom end of state, (hee hee I put that nice pmsl), but yes Tassie does have quiet a few names that you can also find in UK, there are also others that have a bit if a variation in the name. Tony have made note to try and keep around March free, apart from 3rd March when we hopefully will be at the FOOTBALL in Launceston :-))))))) Hello Ducky nice to see you here. ~~~~~ to Trifley, Lara nad all who are away at moment, have a great time. Sandra happy 41st wedding Annniversary to you and Mike. Also a Happy 60th Birthday to Mike. Are you doing anything special???? I wont be here for big part of day as I have a not so pleasant thing to do, hopefully it will turn out ok, to do with son. But after having him here for a couple of days I hope I have drilled some sense into him. Will have to wait and see. Cheers Sue
