Good morning folks, From the at (last sunny) Gold Coast weather has been dreadful cloudy even chilly and looking the whole time as though it is going to pour with rain but no such luck. The reunion was quite good the farewell dinner was the best as they had a bandand it was good fun . Mike is at.... wait for it........ OHHHHH How Did you guess????Yes GOLF................ it's the third time he's played since we've been here and probably not the last As usual having Cassie coming and staying with us on Friday Saturday asunday and monday or most of monday was great but as usual with our darling mons (short for Monster as she was known as a toddler ) the cyclone that is Cassandra hit on Saturday she decided her and mum were going to check out wedding dresses and dropping Mike of at a whole lot of golf warehouses well we dropped Mike of with a big grin on his face a he saw all the places he had to go to, we headed of to the first place on the list after much searching we realised it was no longer where it was supposed to be , so we rang them and and they said oh yes we are oppposite bunnings now at Where ever it was , so we went to place no 2 and they didnt have anything and place 3 and same result so we were heading of up Ashmore rd to the 1st place that had moved and Cassies car conked out no clutch in the middle of the rd at the traffic lights outside hardly normal ohhhhhh S**t not one person stopped to help five change of lights being tooted, rude fingers sworn at by all and sundry we had trhe hazard lights on are people thick or what maybe just rude peeps !!!Anyway Cass was on the phone to the man who had just 8 weeks ago put in a new clutch when a lovely young man walking home from work at Hardly Normal's astopped and asked us if we needed help pushing thwe car of the road thru the intersection around the cnr to a side st so cassie steered it while he and MOI pushed it oHHH Butter the car and he took off must have been a down slope and Moi running her little fat legs of had to let go or would have been dragged along the rd. ok will tell you the next episode later on today but it could only happen to us I assure you have to try and call girlfriend re going to dinner tonight I am at the resort here with no car but will try and see if anyone can come down for coffee before we leave here on Friday morning to go up to Cassies coooeee Donna SuzyQ,Anna are you able to get here , awill send you emails with mobile number as tryed twice and blasted program wouldnt send emails so having another girl now so off I go thinking of you Pam see you soon too have a lovely break Trifley get well all who feel yuk Love Lara

Morning Wattlers..Beautiful day here today.Getting a bit warm but I dont mind. Went to have a look at the new big Home Center yesterday and boy it is big.. Didnt stay long as I was actually on my way to Bunnings to get some plants for my little garden. Bought some petunias and 5 herbs which I am growing in with the flowers. They look quite good. We had a fire drill at the Club today but thank goodness we were not involved.Mainly for staff and a few units close by. Pam.. helloo, gadabouts, shoppers, late night viewers (in the UK) and lovelies. its a beautiful day down here on the coast, although would be happy for a few drops of rain. between the reading , i've been out the back watching pee wee flying lessons and rescued a baby sparrow from the guinea pigs cage, much to the disappointment of the pooches, it was providing great entertainment. sadly today no washing to do, so no real excuse for being in my fave chillout place (the washing line space). sooo I'm back off to being boring, catch you later love Yvette x PS did ya think you were writing a poem lara?

Good Morning Wattlers, It is mixed, sunny and cloud, slight breeze, but very smokey. We have a fire that has been burning since Sunday. It's in the hills were there are heaps of trees, so the firies can't get to it. They are just keeping a close eye on it. It has now moved to directly behind us. Can't see the fire but can see the smoke. Hi Lara, I think that I should have you number,yes, will try and call you later. I am trying to find a day but it looks impossible at the moment. Will let you know. Still laugh at the thought of you pushing the car. Sorry Great news about the SD Donna, I bet your Daz is really looking forward to seeing her. Evening Wattlers guess who had a mini mini meet today...? I met up with DIY for lunch , a wander through the shops .....oh and a bit of a natter....lol. We even found a few bargains. Thankyou for all the good wishes for Mum, she is not a happy vegemite...says she is only staying in that place for the week then she's going home!! I can see this is going to be fun...lol Have had 4 lots of kids trick or treating at the door this evening. Even had a couple turn their noses up at muesli bars..cheeky little blighters. we get no trick or treaters at our place - if the pooches or possum don't scare 'em, I do. I'm not a haircut person, did ya notice? so anything will be an improvement. when are you gutter sitting? we used to do that when our town was still quiet and sleepy. probably get run over now-or picked up by the uniformed lads. Make the most of your mum at home, I miss mine. she doesn't talk to me (3 years now) and has moved away. thinking of hitting the books again love Yvette x
