Evening Wattlers . . . just dropping in on my way to the land of nod. We dont usually get the trick or treaters up here in the apartment . . but so lovely, this afternoon Nan from downstairs came up and asked if it would be OK for her grandies to come a knockin' tonight, even had the treats packaged up for us to give out. Nan didn't want the littlies to be out on the streets over where they live, and organised for them to come here. So Dracula, a witch and a little pink fairy came knocking on my door tonight! Good Morning all, another lovely day to greet the 1st of November. There is a bit of high white cloud about, and a forecast for rain, but at the moment it is HOT. Telstra should be out to Lew's place this afternoon . . . so after lunch, we should organise fireworks to welcome her back !!! Hope she has been doing finger exercises to keep the fingers limbered up ready to go! I have a dental appointment this mornings, so best go get myself organised. Good Morning Wattlers Oh what a beautiful morning, Oh what a beautiful day :-))))) Lovely sunny day today and its only going to get better for this long weekend. I hope everyone is having a great time. I have just scored 2 tickets to the V8 Supercars that are over here in 2 weeks time from our local radio station, so thats a saving as tickets to these events are not cheap :-)) Antony is still at my place, he is getting on ok and I think he is starting to get on top of things, he is debating on going to mainland to be with his Dad, but is waiting to speak to him first before he makes any decisions. Lew can hear your hands rubbing together in eagerness to get back on here lol, Lara hope you are enjoying your holiday up North. Trifley your brake in the forests sounds so serene and beautiful. Tony hope you are having success with your holes in SA :-) Well must go and pick up friend and then go to Mums to sew up our green and red tablecloths for our upcoming chrissy party on the 9th Dec. Morning folks Just would like to really thank all of you, for your luv and support over the past few weeks. Have embraced all the hugs sent to me. And thank you Vonny for the little poem. It is lovely. Mel went back to the US yesterday but told me she will be back in about 6 weeks. Has given me something to look forward too. Afternoon Wattlers Can someone please send me the wattler list? Mine is a bit out of date as well. I have just come home from a very busy day at work,,, didn't even get a lunch break today. My long service is but a distant memory now. Roll on the next break lol. I actually put in for some more long service early in the new year...fingers crossed for me. Don't think i will get it, but i want to cut my hours back and need to use my long service up first. Now that i have sat down to have a quick read of the wattle dust, i don't think i can get up again. Hope OH wants to cook tea, or it will be cereal or a sandwich hehe. Just calling in quickly What a dreadful afternoon - there was a fault in the power supply to our street and instead of getting 240 volts we were getting 360volts. Both of out TV's are blown, our airconditioning, our phone, the microwave, our beautiful sound system - who knows what else. We are checking now. The puter is still working!!!! Oh - Chris just said the booster to the TV antenna is gone. And the garage door! I'm so angry and upset - Ergon (the State Power Supplier) will replace verything but goodness knows how long it is going to take. Lew - I need some pills Try to get back later :>(((( Anna PS All the other houses in the street are in the same boat - it's going to cost Ergon plenty!

Anna How dreadful, Hope you have a power surge protector. We had a lightening surge while we were away earlier this year and we made sure it didnt happen again by getting a electrician in to install a surge protector in the power box to safeguard all our electrical stuff.We had to get a new mictowave oven and I needed a new Mother Board for my puta. Thank goodness it was still under warrenty but it is not covered for a electricity surge but the man I think took pity on me and replaced it no charge anyway. Well I have now done 12 quid on Scotlands people and am sorry it dosent go past 1905 in the births dept. Where do you all go for dates after that. I am still a newby when it comes to searching. Okay Wattlers. Christmas is coming up and we need to think about this. Having had several days without internet access, and time to update the address book, can we make a pact not to send cards to each other??? I know there will be some who will protest, but honestly it's such a waste of money (unless you have shares in Australia Post)
