just haven't been on the computer. Poss has got his sore eye back again. went to the medical centre yesterday, went to casualty today. the only thing that will help it has to be prescribed by the eye specialist , that he can only access today in Sydney Eye Hospital or wait and hopefully get an appointment with his specialist during the week _ if he's back. not a happy possum. have taken the dogs down the lagoon for a sniff, done a bit of washing and yakked to a friend on the phone. going out for a walk to bil's who's also in the wars, to rescue poss.'s sunnies and deliver some flyers for my weights classes. that will pretty much tie up the day. suprising how well things happen without the hangover. love Yvette x

Morning Wattlers, only just. Had a lovely evening out last night and I come home to find that we have had a nice little wattlotto win, yippeeeee. Overcast and cold here today, so I'm going to have a day of taking it easy, play on the computer and do nothing! See ya later Lew Lew xxx

Judy Report 5 Nov 2006 01:10

Isn't that what you normally do Lew Lew, as well as swim and read and cuddle babies?? Me, I've been tossing out scarves, hats and bags (but will be happier when they are all actually out of the house) .. Gee I feel virtuous (just don't let me look at them again or I'll change my mind ! lol) What you all doing for the Melbourne Cup? - I'm going to a luncheon, but helping rather than indulging. .. Have to help run the sweeps, and serve up lunch .. :(( I'm babysitting Lucas for 4 hrs tomorrow while Mum goes to a diabetes clinic. .. Last I heard, he was up on all 4's and falling over - probably crawling all over the place now. .. He's not quite 7 months. Back to work - start on the tee shirts now. Jood

Afternoon Wattlers . . . Not having much luck with my connection today - keeps dropping off. Did lots of Mousework yesterday, cleared files, defraggled, decookied, deleted heaps . . . then upgraded to AVG 7.5 and today the poor thing is slow as a wet weak and not very sticky in the conection department. Think the old ewe will be happier with some more rams in the top paddock !! The Queen and her entourage will be heading down the mountain today - bound for the family castle, which hopefully the crown prince has had cleaned up after any possible royal batchelor party. Safe trip D & G ! If your interested in such thing girls - for you lunch on 7th Dec . . . Many years ago, my most wonderfulest brother-in-law Rod, sat with me in the little park opp Central railway station (on Eddie Ave) and told me tales of during the war, the station being a major connection point in military personel movements. Since he died 4yrs ago, every time I go to the city if I am in the area - I grab a coffee and sit there - watch the people, remember the stories, and admire the beautiful buildings. Last time there it was raining and I found a little caf on the ground floor of the station building, and sat among the beautiful old stone arches and admired it all from a different perspective. It was nice fresh caf food salads and the like - just food for thought if you were looking for something closer to the railway. Culling the cupboards Jood . . . I'm good at that - and good at putting it all back the next day too! Have a loovly time with Lucas tomorrow . . such delightful age . . !! Did you have a look on the weekender at the pickle Printheth sister ?? Teeheee . . . the lighting is just right dont you think ?? Well we had a late BBQ brunch - on the balcoonie - wearing jackets !! and have a roast to do for an early dinner this evening, so off to do some soaking of the meat in plonk and dried grasses. Have a nice cosy afternoon all . . . luv Laurie

afternoon all, Sorry, I forgot my camera yesterday so no piccies. As per usual we didn't stop nattering, even the rain couldn't dampen us down. We all had pannini with different fillings and not one of us had pudding, weren't we good. Thanks for the photo of your house Tassie and that's a very smart letterbox, how is your mouth now btw, all healed up? Lucky you Joodles having a baby to play with today, I struck lucky last Thurs. when I visited a friend and found she was babysitting her 15mth gd, I had a cuddle while coffee was being made. Yvette I hope the prob with Possum's eye isn't too serious, have they said what the problem is? luv Jillx

Yes, Sal, the fares are cheap mid January, but I'm off to Perth mid Dec to early January :( .. no cheap fares for me. We havent heard from you for a while, so hope you stay this time. .. You're from H.H's aren't you? I don't mind it being a cold winter's day today - for a change. .. Actually I don't mind how long we wait till the hot summer (and the shorter the better). I'm decluttering the place - it will take months, but I've started - woo hoooooo!!! .. lol .. I think I need more cold winter days to fulfil the job ! Jood

Hi all, gee it has been quiet today - hi to Sal - pop in anytime - it's always pleasant here. Thank you to everyone for their wishes on our WA yesterday - I got a new teddy bear - don't know where he's going yet as I still haven't found homes for the ones I bought o/s. Thank you JulieCat and JA for your cards too. Jood - when you finish your cupboards come and do mine please - lol. Just wish I could get enthused about tidying up as my feng shui is definitely in need of some help. Moving house would be a simple solution but not going to happen. Daughter is cooking tea tonight - just as well as I'm not in the mood - another stressful day at work - did look at chocolate before I left but then decided that wouldn't help either - might have a stiff Southern Comfort in a mo. No more rain here but glad it's been raining in other places. Congrats on our win in Lotto - better than nothing Gwenda

Sal, not sure if I have met Rod or not - I did meet a few Perth people last year. I won't be here from 15 Dec - 4 Jan, and am off again on the 15, would love to have a meet in January between 4 & 15 though. .. I'm getting in early before someone else makes a day when I'm away !!! .. I haven't met Flutters, but have seen her pic. .. When will she be here? We are having lunch in the city on 7 December - we don't know where yet. .. You are quite welcome to join us. .. We will meet at Central as most of us coming by train from one place or another. Gwenda it will take me months to declutter this place - it must be the cold weather that is egging me on today - but I'm not consistent - I've gone from shoes to bags to clothes to papers to family history on computer to Money program on pc to shifting stuff from one box to a smaller one!!!! I stocked up on my grog supply yesterday Gwenda, so party time tonight (that means one glass of something) lol Jood

its still raining - its gotten gradually heavier during the day. my line of dry washing is now wet, but i don't care. came back from my walk wet & christened the new brolly. apologies for neglecting WA wishes yesterday Glenda, wishing you stacks more happy ones too. The inner city places sound great Laurie. sydney is such an interesting place with its buldings and parks and all kinds of people.- i am always a tourist there, I love it. I had another sleep this afternoon, gee I've been getting my fair share of those. Sydney sounds OK in January, but will have to confirm later on. If you choose a date i'll stick it on the planner. Poor Poss. has a lesion on his cornea. it started with an abrasion, then the last time it flared up it was something else that irritated the same spot. The doctor said there is a definite mark there. He's just hoping he can get an appointment tomorrow. silly bum, we should have just gone to sydney today. off to eat the rest of my tea. love Yvette x
