Little fluffy yellow duck Report 9 Nov 2006 07:26

Evening All Jood, loved the 12 days of Christmas. Sent a copy to Mel, I know she will love it too. We went to the Butchart Gardens on Vancouver Island, Canada 2 years ago and they had the same theme but done in lights. Absolutely beautiful. Mary and SuzyQ, Didn't get much rain al all. Bit of lightening and thunder, but is really overcast here now. Lara sounds like a good idea to me. Do you want me to bring a few sandies (crabs). Would have to wear beach wear if we were there, so I think I'll do that. Jude, hope you have your peaceful evening Luv Pam

I have often walked down this street before; But the pavement always stayed beneath my feet before. All at once am I Several stories high. Knowing I'm on the street where you live. Are there lilac trees in the heart of town? Can you hear a lark in any other part of town? Does enchantment pour...... Out of ev'ry door? No, it's just on the street where you live! And oooooooooh! The towering feeling Just to know somehow you are near. The overpowering feeling That any second you may suddenly appear! People stop and stare. They don't bother me. For there's no where else on earth that I would rather be. Let the time go by, I won't care if I Can be here on the street where you live. Sorry..........jest felt like singing. Tony Oz...:>))

Good Morning Wattlers another beeudiful day in Melbourne. where were you all this morning while that delightful number came up? I really couldn't miss the chance to beat the puddy cat -pmsl (16666 - 1+6+6+6+6 = 7 - has to be someone's lucky number - mine is actually 13!) Have a safe trip Laurie. Lovely to see you back Fluffy. Glad you had a loverly trip away Queen Trifley . Mary enjoy the jerks! Lew red and green pills sound wonderful we will all need some to get us through the festive season. I'll have a big bottle to start on so I can get through hassles of the crowd. Plus big bad meanie Ken has banned me from every Christmas shop in the area - he has told me 'I'm out of control' with the amount of Chrissie decorations we have. Now girls don't you agree its like bags and shoes 'one can never have enough'! lol Flakey - play time with the kiddies how wonderful. No I didn't get my fully peaceful night.Everything comes at a price! David talked me into replenishing the pantry - seeing as it was quite bare. He pushed the trolley for me (while adding all the things he wanted as treats) and it was nice to have someone load and unload the boot and carry the bags inside. He even shouted me dinner - he went to the pizza shop! lol. But at least I didn't have to cook. Cleo was in a funny mood last night wouldn't leave me alone so I finally gave in and watched Julian Clary on 'who do you think you are' on UKTV. I shoved Cleo onto her bed when it was finished, David went up to his room to read, so about 9.30pm I got to listen to some music and do some sewing. Only lasted an hour Ken decided to come home early as he thought I would be lonely - huh! More likely he got sick of talking cars! My dear Dad is turning 85 young today so going out to have dinner with him and Mum tonight. He has been a bit poorly again lately so it wont be a late night. Wish they would move closer but its a losing argument . Kirsty and Chris have made it to Margaret River. Reckon it reminds them of the Yarra Valley so they want to stay awhile.Kirsty has 3 interviews lined up already, but Chris is going to have a break from Cheffing and has tried for some work at the wineries. They sound like they are settling in secretly I was hoping they didn't like it too much and would head back for Vic. But that might still happen anyway we just never know with our 30 yr old nomads! Well better do some work ~~~ to everyone xx jude

Hi Wafflers It's another cloudy day on the GC. Not raining at the moment but it does look as if we might get some later.....not before I get all the towels dry, I hope! Tony.....you were in fine voice yesterday, mate. I love that song. Mary....enjoy your exercise....do some for me while you're there...heee heee. DIY.....what are you intending to do with the cottage once you finish fixing it up? L'oz....have a safe and fun trip to WW. Yes....have tried the charcoal and it helps a little. Crew....could you send some red and green pills for Graeme, please? His enthusiasum for putting up the lights seems to be waning and he has LOTS more to do. I've been up for 3 hours so I think it's time for some more coffee to boost my failing energy. Hugz Trifley X

Arvo Queenie forgot to tell you Flakey and I saw the bestest Martoonie glass last week while at brandsmart, it would have fitted 750ml - no worries, would have taken 2 people to lift it - but what a martoonie - you would have been totally legless after drinking it but what a way to go -pmsl. Bit quiet on here today where is everyone? What is this today the mary celeste? xx jude

He's taken a break from the lights today and is doing some gardening instead. It's amazing how the only things which grow without water are the weeds! Hey DIY....that sounds like my kind of glass. Then I could truly say...'I've only had one drink' hee hee. I think it's time I got the gardener some lunch.......be back later. Hugz Trifley X
