A very Good Morning to all on this very sunny warm (make that hot) day by Botany Bay, where 3 giraffes are standing with stretched necks. Hope you are all well . . . ((((hugs)))) to all who need one We had a great weekend out at the farm - flat chat - always plenty to do, and so great to catch up with so many family and friends. Lots of laughing and party after the jobs around the place were over each day. There is nothing to compare with the sky in the bush . . .once you hit the plains - just the magnitude of it - the fact that you can see so much of it brings about a dimentional effect that you just dont see anywhere else . . and at night . . to steal the words of the 'Mr Patterson' . . . . 'And at night the wond’rous glory of the everlasting stars. . . . . as you drink it in - you just know how he felt when he wrote those words! On Friday, the OH of my Neice out near Cobar had a terrible accident off his motorbike . . out in the paddock, miles from the homestead . . . yet somehow he got back on the bike and rode it home. No skin left on one side of his face, a cracked collarbone, broken ribs, and great chunk of bone broken out of one wrist, concussed and confused - poor neice had to drive him the 90miles to town and make him talk all the way, even though he couldn't remember anything to talk to her about. Hopefully today they will airlift him to Dubbo and start to repair him. On Saturday night it was very overcast, so I was grateful to have had the clear stary night the night before - but no rain eventuated, well there were some spots, for about half an hour, but they were so far apart one could stand out in it and not get a drop. Just sounded like a few big bugs on the roof, and they dried up as soon as they landed. Now . . . just two sleeps till I go up home !!!!! In the meantime . . plenty of red dust dirty clothes to wash this morning - so best get cracking. cheers . . . luv Laurie

Well, I was about to answer you Jood, when the Princess pops up! Sorry to hear about your nephew-in-law, Loz. Hope he makes a speedy recovery. Sounds like you had a great time in WW. Let's just hope that we all get some much needed rain. Cilla, let's hope they find out what's troubling you soon and that you can go visit your sister soon. Morning all Lovely day today and going to be warm I think. Taking John to see a neuro, surg. today hoping he can find the problem. and fix him up. Hate driving in the busy suburbs as we have to go to North Shore Hosp.Still worth it if he can fix OH up. Welcome home Laurie, glad you had a nice trip but I feel for your poor relative. what a horrid accident. Hope he recovers well. Tassie that was a sneaky taking LewLews number. pmsl.. Hi Wattlers, I hope that you are all well this sunny Monday morning. We are forecast for a storm today, lets hope it comes with heaps of rain. Jude, can your daughter answer a question for me. Is Chris Isaac gay? I must admit I like him but I have this funny feeling about him and his drummer. I think I must have Mondayitis, my brain has just closed down. Oh yes, Loved the Christmas poem Jood, I will make a special effort to memorise it. My little cat Sophie is in the wars again. Think she is using up her 9 lives very quickly. Don't know what she has done but she has a terrible sore on her chest and she spits and screams when I try to bathe it. Looks like the vet is going to have an even better christmas. Morning Wattlers Im about, just busy tidying up my Fh stuff to share with another rellie. The rain we had yesterday is still hanging about today. Hey Cat Could the clock be showing only the minutes and seconds after midnight instead of just minutes as it used to. So it would be 50odd minutes after 12 pm so it used to show 00:53am but now it is showing the 00no hours, and then minutes and seconds. Or am I going daft..pmsl Love Mary xxx

Yes Mary lol The 00 is hours, the 53 minutes and the last two, ie 13 are seconds lol

Oh dear Mary I just popped back on after having a cuppa soup, and Im sorry but I got a real giggle out of your statement about the clock hee hee.
