Morning all Tony loved the songs as we always do. Had to read them again today though as last night we had a couple of drinks from a home made wine that our landlord makes and had given us a bottle, it was Rhubarb and Apple, not a bad drop, but we had to put some lemonade in it to weaken it down a bit otherwise would have really blown the top off our heads haa haa. Not much else happening over here, just about to have lunch then attack the garage to get my chrissy lights out, youngest daughter is at a kids day in the park doing her scout duties, the other daughter is in the cooking fame of mind and is going to be making chocolate truffles and the boy is just mopping about a bit bored with himself, he had decided to move to the mainland with his Dad, well that is his thoughts at the moment. We will see if he changes his mind before he goes. Ok lunch time ~~~~~ to all~~~~~~ Cheers Sue |

Mmmmmmm..lol Na'h, cant give birth.............That bit was left up to God.......... after all, she did create us............. Best i can get is constipated. The FBI had an opening for an assassin. After all the background checks, interviews and testing were done there were 3 finalists. Two men and a woman. For the final test, the FBI agents took one of the men to a large metal door and handed him a gun. 'We must know that you will follow your instructions no matter what the circumstances. Inside the room you will find your wife sitting in a chair. Kill Her!!!' The man said, 'You can't be serious, I could never shoot my wife' The agent said, 'Then you're not the right man for this job. Take your wife and go home.' The second man was given the same instructions. He took the gun and went into the room. All was quiet for about 5 minutes. The man came out with tears in his eyes, 'I tried, but I can't kill my wife.' The agent said, 'You don't have what it takes. Take your wife and go home.' Finally, it was the woman's turn. She was given the same instructions, to kill her husband. She took the gun and went into the room. Shots were heard, one after another. They heard screaming, crashing, banging on the walls. After a few minutes, all was quiet. The door opened slowly and there stood the woman, She wiped the sweat from her brow. 'This gun is loaded with blanks' she said. 'I had to beat him to death with the chair.' Funny how you go to Bunnings with a full wallet, and its empty when you get home.......should be a law against it. Tony Oz..:>)) |

Hi guys Have just had the most hilarious 5 hours with my old nursing buddies - we were reminiscing over all the old nursing disasters and I haven't laughed so much for ages! We have decided to do it again after Christmas - we're all retired now except one and she's working part time. Think I need a cuppa to recover! Good luck for Wattlo Lottlo tonight. Luv Anna PS Had my pickle in the paper today from the Preschool farewell yesterday. |

Arvo Wattlers I'm back from my retail therapy.....tired but happy. I didn't spend much but I did have a great time. One thing I did get was a new hat (I'm into hat's at the moment...PMSL). This one is bright red so I will stand out in a crowd......not that I don't already...heee heee. Also found some DVD's of some old movies. They were only $2 each so I hope they are not too bad. Didn't go to Bunnings.....couldn't handle such excitement on the first outting, maybe next week. Tony....pmsl @ the FBI joke. Did you get lots of goodies at Bunnings? Merle...you and your hubby sound as crazy as the rest of us. You'll fit in fine. Joodles....how's the knee. Lara....enjoy your genealogy day. Devily.....aahh...chrissy lights...that's the spirit. It might do your son good if he goes to live with his dad for a while. You can never miss home unless you leave it. Crew....,more guests? Are you practising for the Wattlers meet? I think I might try for a half hour snooze before dinner. Have fun everyone. Big hugz Trifley X |

Anna - I'm shocked - what did you do to the poor patients all those years ago lol .. mind you I have heard of some hairy tales from other ex-nurses!!! Now come on Anna, send us your pickle - you're famous now! .. And you to Trifley - are you going to join the (in)famous Red Hats Society? lol Trifley - I think I've got fluid on the knee, thats what it feels like - any suggestions anyone?? .. Sometimes its ok, and sometimes its very sore... I really don't have time to be limping around lol Lyn tells me she will have the winning Lotto numbers next week, but let's see how we go tonight - woooooohoooo Had two nanna naps today, did the i*******g (most of it), wrapped up some small chrissie parcels, and kekp an eye on big pc while it was scanning (it's found a few viruses) Love Jood |

Hi Wafflers, Anna you're becoming a celebrity, thats twice you've been in the papers. Can I have your autogragh, lol how's the back has it eased a little with all that rather interesting exercise you had to do, and Chris, I hope he's feeling better too. Has he just had the same op as Ron? Ron went in this w/end as there was a cancellation instead of next. Loved the songs Tony, you're very clever you know and I think you're back to being our only man on the thread, you must scare the others off with your brilliance, good looks, charm, treeclimbing, etc.,psml I have sat and read through seven pages, thought I would remember everything, wrong! so get well all the not so wells and my love to you all. Hi mob.. While having dinner the phone rang ans it was a cousin in New Zealand to tell me that her father had died on 1/11/2006 in New Plymouth. He and his wife were very good to me when I went to NZ when I was 24 and they have been very wonderful people who I became very fond of. He was 102 !/2 yo when I saw him in Feb. this year I had a feeling it was going to be the last itme. I will miss him,, Now on a more cheerful note I hope we win in lotto tonight as it is getting close to Christmas and I am sure we all need a helping hand with the pressies.. Must do the dishes so back later.. Love Mary xxx |
