Hi Mary C. did you think the same as I? windy ol' weather today although it looks fine from inside. got up at sparrow fart and the the sea mist came across. imagined it was raining but it was me standing in the thick of the mist. diddly oodles of hw that could be done. ick. if I could work out how to turn the telly on and make the dvd player work, i would prob. give that a whirl, but i am illiterate when i get to the loungeroom. Have done my weights but thats it. should go walkies with the pooch and check out my chrissy tree in the paddock just down the road a bit. update, hiya vonny yvette x

Afternoon Wattlers very quiet on here all out chrissy shopping are we? I'm exhausted trying to sort out what everyone has done is doing and about to do - 9 pages to catch up on. No polly waffles again - come on Fan do your stuff for this weekend at least then we will get maybe a p/waffle for chrissy. Hooray for the G G's putting wattlers on the map again, so glad you all had a wonderful time. This is my sort of christmas name until I think up (or someone else does) a better name just have brain fade at the mo. Name is appropriate after taking out another wall at the cottage, (same can't be said for FH) and laying recycled boards in the hall all weekend. Dirty dusty work and one job I have decided I don't like. But its nice to walk on a even, stable floor. I can comfortably say I know the inns and outs of the cottage, having rebuilt about 1/2 of it in various ways. lol Crew say hello to Adelaide for us (funny how we don't have a wattler from there.) just make sure you support the right team! lol ~~~~~ hi to everyone existing and new Flat chat at work and have the feeling its only going to get worse in the next few weeks as everyone remembers they haven't had the car serviced and want it done before the 25th (and they have all had reminders!) this is the alternative to my new name - 'array the corridor' its from a quiz on christmas carols some of them are really good! jude diy (just in case you couldn't figure out which jude it was -lol)

Afternoon Wattlers, and I won't say 'good'. The weather conditions here have worsen and a new fire south of Mudgee is burning through about 1,000 ha of bushland. It's class is 3 (Major bush fire(s) involving a number of agencies and requiring out of area resources. The declaration under Section 44 of the Rural Fires Act, 1997 has been made or is imminent giving the RFS Commissioner coordination of the incident through an appointed Incident Controller) and Status Going: Indicates any fire that is spreading on one or more flanks. Effective control strategies are not in place for the entire perimeter. Also, we have just been informed our Qantas, our wonderful national carrier, that although we booked our flights in February, they have oversold the flight and, as we used our frequent flyer points, we have been bumped! Therefore, tomorrow we will embark on the 14 hour drive from here to Adelaide. Ohhh Goody! I just love the trip over the Hay Plains, so borrrrringggg. :-( Off to finish packing. Oh Crew, how awful for you, and for Mudgee, fingers crossed the fires behave themselves. Hot here but I'm in the a/c, have to hop around to the supermarket tho in a minute, extra teens for tea, tonight is full dress rehearsal of the Xmas play which will be on Fri and Sat nights coming up, with school Carol Service (a big deal) on Sunday. DD always manages to invite lots of friends, they're a great bunch Welcome to Joan I see, and also Shazz, havn't seen you around for a while either. I think the glow on the horizon last night must have been your chrissy lights Suzy!! I whipped around and got a bit of sh....ing done this morning, so I've started.
