Donna Sorry to hear about the op for the shoulder..OH had to have a spur taken off one of his shoulders and it is right as rain now.so hope you will be also. Evening....:>)) Well....I'm 3cm dialated ( is that good? ) Everything is go, and bubs is at the starting blocks with head down and bum up, but the gates wont open Daughter is 3 days overdue, and went for checkup today and the nurse told her that she is all baby and its a biggin.....:>)) Wish it would hurry up, cos I'm pacing holes in the carpet here, and everytime the phone rings i think its daughter tellin me its time. 32c expected in Melbun to-morrow and the West of the state of Vic. is on high fire alert and total fire ban. Been flat out like a lizard drinking,( work wise ) but not complaining as this is my time of the year to be busy ( Summer )and gotta strike while the irons hot. Aaahhh....the big light up! About 99% of them worked and those which did looked great. However there was one string on the roof which refused to play so we had a big black patch on one end of the roof.....BUTTER! The party was great, us 4, 9 other adults and 4 kids. Just enough for afriendly gathering. Graeme has spent most of the afternoon trying to either fix or re-arrange the non working lights. He's finaly patched things up and it looks ok. UPDATE: The judges have just been! They didn't make any comment except to say that it looks like a lot of work. Boy.....is that an understatement! We have had about 19 spits of rain.....better than nothing. I'm off to refill the bubbly glass, may as well enjoy it while I feel ok. Thanks for all your good thoughts, they keep me going. Good morning waffling Wattlers . . . from Botany Bay. Very hazy as I look out over the bay, 5 giraffe heads reaching for the sky, a Tanker has just left Kernell, there are three folks swimming on the beach in front of me, and several more a little way down at the swimming enclosure. When I said the other day that I would get back at Qantas for our Crew . . . I dina realise I would be so good at it !!! I am a star . . . I got them big time for you lovely !!!! I went to dinner with my boys and Nell last night, and then a quick dash to the Brissie airport to catch my flight back to Sydney. Got there and they were all confusing . . . going to put me on an earlier flight - the earlier flight will be delayed - dah !!! Anyway checked in - toddled off to the Qantas Club and had a little champers, then my flight was called so off to the gate. Waiting, waiting, waiting . . . then boarding the plane and sitting waiting, sitting waiting . . . . Cap'n comes on and tells us that due to the earlier storm when they lost power there was a malfunction with the refueling pump, sitting waiting, sitting waiting . . . . cap'n comes on and says at this rate if they do get the pump working, we will arrive in Sydney too late to land due to the 11pm curfew - he is waiting for permission from Canberra to break the curfew . . . sitting waiting, waiting waiting . . . Pump is working we are refueling . . . sitting waiting, sitting waiiting . . . Nah !!! Canberra has said NO to breaking curfew - we cana leave tonight!!!!! Airport manager is on his way to tell you what will happen . . . sitting waiting, sitting waiting . . . (turns out airport manager was an old friend from our Navy days teeheee) OK folks, we will put you up for the night and get you off to Sydney first thing in the morning, there is a bit of problem with accomodation in Brisbane tonight, so it will be a case of getting what we can for you!!! Mad scramble to ring TLR and tell him to get to bed, I'm not coming home tonight !!!! Then reaquaint myself with old friend who was delighted to catch up and look after me. I got the Royal treatment . . . only fitting for a Printheth of course . . . Limo from airport to the Hilton in Elizabeth Street, lovely suite for the night, Supper delivered, Breaky delivered early this morning, and a limo back to the airport to catch my flight !!!! All the while saying . . . 'This is for you Lew & Teza!!!!!!!!!!' Oh . . . Tony . . do we have a new bub yet . . . such a lovely time for you and your family. Donna, I am so sorry you are in such pain, and the financial strain too . . . stress will only make the healing harder so please try not to. Arvo Xmas Wattlers. Still no news on the baby front...:>((( Perhaps its stubborn ( like its mum )...lol.....or already had a peek outside, and didnt like what it saw...hee hee Daughter says she's ready, but bubs aint trying hard enough. Looks like it might be a December baby, if daughter dosent go to-night. Her birthday is also December ( 17th ) so perhaps bubs wants to join mum for the same birthday month.? Melanie ( 3rd eldest ) was my first daughter to give me/us a granchild ( 5 years ago ) ..but Barb and i were in Western Australia holidaying at Mandurah when she gave birth ( Baby came a week early than expected )........but this time I'm here.....so whats the hold up?????....lol Having left over Spag Bolg for lunch....yum Dont know what happened to the 32c in Melbin? ...but this morning i was thinking of turning on the heating. Hi Tony - they only let them go 10 days overdue these days. 3cm is not a lot - daughter was 3 cm for days and nothing happened - but bubby did come quick in the end. Hope that it doesn't go for too long for your daughter's sake. yes, we had a cool change last night and it is not too hot today - just nice actually. Vonny

I'm Baaack, Hello to you all. nothing broken but tore the ligaments in my knee and have a knee splint for 6 weeks plus physio. Had the cancer removed and so far no problems, just difficult to get around. We are living on frozen meals and fruit salad and custard with the occasional icecream thrown in. Theres always a good side to these things though, I'm losing weight!!! Himself is exhausted but happy. I offered him one of Lews purple pills but he says if they make him as bad as the rest of us he'd rather be dead. I don't think thats very nice do you? I told my mental health councellor about you lot because she said I seemed to have found a new lease on life. Thanks to you all but when I told her a bit of what goes on she asked if we all needed an appointment. She'll do group therapy she says, though thinks it's a bit late and suggests we all just turn ourselves in and save the relevant authorities the trouble. Glad to hear princess Laurie is home again. Lovely to hear that there are some new arrivals pending.Hope all goes well Hello Donna, hope your shoulder responds to treatment. Ive decided that I'll be Miss-l-toe for chrissey. Hi Vonny. Yes, she is having contractions, but they are not strong enough...yet..... They told daughter if she hasnt gone in before............they will bring bubs on by Friday ( next ). So one way or the other she will have bubs by next Friday. Rudee Oz...:>)))

Its to late for me....:>))) Saw one about 20 years ago, and they tell me he will be released from the mental institution next month, and is leaving the Country......:>)))))))))) ...hee hee After hearing that one of the patients in a mental hospital had saved another from a suicide attempt by pulling him out of a bathtub, the hospital director reviewed the rescuer's file and called him into his office.
