Little fluffy yellow duck Report 3 Dec 2006 12:02

Evening all We had a couple of drops of rain tonight but lots of lightning and thunder which I dinny like. Vonny, I dinny get any pickles either. Jilly, Mel don't iron - ever. Glad you had a good weekend. Did you get any bargains when you went shopping the other day ? Sandra, do you have a wheat bag. Heat it up and put it on your back......really helps Merle take care. Rudee, my Mum always makes a pud for me. I got a recipe from Rebs yesterday which can be used as pud or cake and it is really yummy. Hi Sarah, Welcome to the nut house...........I'm from Bribie Island in the beautiful sunshine state (although plurry hot and humid today).. Yvette, sounds like you had a drunken weekend !!!! Mary, do you have a date on the first Sun of each month from now on ? May not be on here for a week or so. A wonderful friend is taking me on holiday. What would we do without good friends. Will catch up later Luv and Hugs Pam (Ducky)

Morning all - rise'n shine Busy day today - gotta drag myself off to have a shower soon. Tony - shhhhhhh! .. Mum's the word - but don't forget a lil plastic plate each to eat it on! .. And make sure the custard has been home made. *peeks out window to look at the weather* .. Hmmmm - none the wiser, bits of pale blue sky, but instead of the small clouds being light and fluffy they are sort of greyish colour .. don't know if that means they are smoke filled or rain filled. .. What I do know is that it is very very cool. .. Last night I had a jacket on, 3 nights prior, the aircon :( Have a great day all Jood

Morning Shaz & sleepy Wattlers, Big hi and welcome to Sarah from another Canberran. Hope you can make lunch on Saturday - we may be older in age but all young at heart Mary - Tradies is on the corner of Launceston & Furzer Streets - bit before you get to the Hellenic Club. Vonny - The Hellenic doesn't do buffet - all 3 restaurants have set menus. I have to have son at dentist at 11.30 so wouldn't be ready before 12 or bit later. Count Dave as another male. Will John join us or is he working on the boat? Fluffy Pam have a great holiday. Better move - rubbish day today and off to work for a few hours before hairdresser Have a great day everyone Gwenda

I'm happy to book for the Tradies and we can meet in the foyer at 12.30. The parking is just next to the building. You don't need to sign in unless you want to play some games after lunch. Their lunch buffet costs round about $15 from memory. I'll book for 8 to cover us all. Mary - bring your nice grand-daughter if John can't make it. That is if she has recovered from last time :) Have a really nice day everyone. If someone could send me a pudding receipe (sp?) then I have the 3p and 6ps. John's mum used to make all the puddings. John said he would like to try so I am all for encouraging him :) ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Vonny PS Sarah - talk to all those 'boring' old Aunties and Uncles about their lives NOW. We all wish we had, believe me!

Hi Wattlers, and welcome Sarah. This is where all the sane people hang out, as long as you don't count Dr Lew, she keeps handing out pills. Guess what, we had torrentional rain yesterday I think about 50mm. Yippee, looks like we might get a bit more today. It is also lovely and fresh, nice cool breeze, perfect weather. Perhaps Ducky can get her friend to take her to an internet cafe if she hasn't got a puta. Thanks for the info Tony, will take a closer look at it all today. Where's the new bub? Cant have you tearing your hair out waiting. Tassie, your house is also amazing, I just love your Santa. You should be very proud, infact every one who lights up their homes deserve praise, and a win on lotto to pay the electric bill. LOL Mary, you are living in a very friendly place now, will you be joining the monthly BBQ now? We will soon have to book a time to chat with you . Laurie, hope you have got all your christmas decorations ready for your balcoonie luncheon? We want lots of pickles. Trifley, how are you today, still well I hope. Donna, you will have two count downs on at the moment, thinking about you. Jillaroo, How is Ron, I do hope he is feeling much better. Anna, have you got that tank connected yet? Well, hope no one is working too hard, I will look in later Luv SuzyQ

Cooooo-eeeeeee Where the heck is every one? (I won't use the words in the Aussie tourism ad or I'll get myself into trouble!) Drum roll - big announcement......... we have air conditioning again. In the end they had to replace the unit, so Ergon will be up for a big bill! Tank is meant to be connected on Friday but so far the plumber has not turned up on 2 pre-arranged occasions to look at the job so I'm not holding my breath! Tassy - would love to see the pickle of your lights. Good on you for getting with the Christmas spirit. So we have a Queenslander as the new leader of the opposition. Hope he doesn't go down the same road as Mark Latham. I do feel sorry for Kim Beasely. I think he's a very decent man. What a terrible day for him. Has anyone heard what happened to his brother who died today? Shall call back later to see if anyone is around. X Anna
