Merel I am so glad the doc is pleased with you ,,,but still look after that knee...remember what I have said,,any fever get straight back to hospital.. sorry that himself is suffering from lack of care but he should be right soon,, Give him one of Dr, Lews pills,, a red one should do the trick..and you can have a green one for luck..We are sorry you are not ovr her to join in our high jinks, but one day we will have a meet over in Perth so watch out.. Morning All Yes Im up early, gotta get all stuff packed in car and have breakky, shower and get to pick up other girls by 8.30. I might be on here briefly tonight if I can stay awake, not sure about tomorrow. Merle, I know what you mean about being away from everyone else in our group, but at least you dont have a stretch of water between you and the rest, I do :-(( and I havent heard of any other members from Tassie on here, or ones that like to chat at least. Tony, hope everything goes well today for Mum and Bubs. Mary have a good trip to Canberra, say hello to the others tomorrow for me. Thinking of all Vics and the terrible fires at the moment, it sound very bad. Davids parents live in the Gippsland area right out on the coast, but way down the bottom end of 90 mile beach, Prayers for all the firies and anyone in the affected area. G'morning all, Jood your pics are wonderful! Thanks for showing us what we missed! I would rather be there than here! The trifle sounded magnificent, is it the Wattlers signature dish now? Last night at about 7 pm the wind went whooosh and sent all our smoke off to Wagga, but this morning it's back again though not as severe. Anyone who wants to read a bit about the fires can google 'bordermail' (.)com. We have a bit of ash on the cars too. It only got to about 30 here yesterday though and so I'm hoping it stays cooler and the wind stays away. The house smells of smoke. Speech day yesterday so school is finished for DD15, I've got plenty for her to do if she gets bored however lol. Such a handy age now, a real help. Half our decorations are up, but today we'll do the tree proper in the lounge. Morning Wattlers, just a perfect summer day to encourage Bubs into the world. Hope it all goes well Tony. Took Kate to Geelong yesterday to surprise Grandma who didnt know she was home. Lots of talking, looking at pics etc. Looks like a great day was had by those who were on the balcoonie, thanks for all the pics.....has Trifley seen that apron Printhess? Going to try and finish the xmas shopping today,so better get moving. HEAR YE HEAR YE (Drum roll, trumpet fanfare, bring on the all male revue etc etc etc) Today is ..............TANK DAY..!!!! Plumber was meant to be here at 8.00am but he has already rung and said he will be late as has to call in to the plumbing supplies and get some special pipe. I think Chris should take a valium - he is already underwhelmed by the competence of said plumber. Tried to tell Chris he would need special valves (expensive) which the council had already confirmed would not be needed as we're only hooking up to the toilet inside. Chris is pacing up and down and will be watching Mr. Plumber like a hawk to make sure he does the thing properly! Oh happy days! I'm just glad Chris knows the procedures - if it had been me, I'd have just accepted that what the plumber told me was correct. Will keep you updated. good morning all , we've made the bed showered and had brekkie and are rearing to go for our lovely day at Rookwood TLR even took the little car and gave us the flash big one (Maybe he thought we wanted to bring a few rellies home with us pmsl) I don't think it would phase TLR though he is atreasure for sure putting up with us and having to get a supermarket trolley to get rid of all the empties we went for a walk along the beach yesterday about 5oclock and we all did well 'cept Laurie wouldn't let me stay there while she went and got the car to pick me up again meanie hehe, so I walked back again and Cas would be proud of me I won't have to tell fibbers when she rings me now and asked 'How much exercise have you done today Mum?I will say oh heaps but wont tell her how much we ate though . Its agood job they dont weigh the passengers on Virgin Flights or I would be up for a fortune when I go home Tony love and best wishes for baby and mother and don't stress mate they'll be fine , ok friends will say bye for now love to all Lara
