Evening Wattlers, Donna - all the best for Thursday. Wishing you and your family a great Christmas and New Year - enjoy your sd's visit too. Another hot day here again and smokey - all a bit too reminiscent of 2003. Enjoy the rain Yvette - wishing and hoping it would happen here too. Tony - fancy your 'tips' not being a help - still maybe they went to Canada instead - lol Mary - hope you enjoyed your retail therapy - not as busy in the plaza today so a good day to be out. Better head to the kitchen and look to feeding everyone. ~~~~~~~~ and (((((hugs))))) to all Gwenda

hello you lot, donna, all the best of hugs for Thursday. Hope you picked a real good looker or at least a nice looking male nurse to wake up to. Wasted effort otherwise. Lara darling don't hold your breath about meeting me. What a shame I didn't know this thread last year as I had three glorious weeks in Carrick. Well we slept there anyway. Tassie is a beutiful place and I fully intend to get back there and see some more one day. Have we a newey on the block. Welcome if so.I'm new too. Leg is taking it's time healing and would you believe now that we've manage to struggle through all the last two weeks, Silver chain have decided they'll come tomorrow. to assess us.Hands have stopped peeling now and arms and legs are having a go now Last antibbiotic tonight though so I guess that must be a good sign. The daily trips for dressings have been a real drag and himself simply couldnt make the grade today. Lots of hugz to you all and heres hoping for rain in all the right places to get those fires out Luv Me

Evening. The spag bolg was luvely...:>)) JA. Ta for your nice words mate.I dont really get bovered from the few who expect G,Grandad to jump out at them with arms open...... saying:'Yoo hoo...Youv'e found me' with the Ozzie research tips that i added. Genealogy/Family History can be a very frustrating hobbie to some peeps, and especially the newbies not knowing where to look or search. Why i posted it in the first place was as a guide only to Australian research, and the many URL's that i have used to help myself, and also what might be found on the net as far as Oz research links. ( Links being the word ) It was never meant to be an answer to all questions, and if it was that easy, then i would have finished my own research years ago...lol..... But you cant please everyone..:>))) This lady had only been doing FH for one month,..lol and has a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong way to go yet. ( as ya know )........ I know this becos of the question she asked me. Quote: My G,Grandad was a butcher in a town called Queensland, N.S.W.......:>)))))))) For the Geno nutters. ( Author Rudes )...lol Sung to: Walking in a Winter wonder Land. Door bell rings, are you listening, Its the cert, for a Christening A beautiful sight, youv'e found uncle mike. Who said Genealogy wasn't fun!. Youv'e found a birth, for your Grandma But there aint one,for your Grandpa Your throwin a fit, Was he Illegit!!! Who said Genealogy wasn't fun!. On the census we can find Great grandad, He got hitched to Mary ellen Brown All their kids were baptised in a small Town But their brother John is no where to be found? Later on, you discover, cousin Bob, is ya brother And your Aunty Lil, was once Uncle Bill Who said Genealogy wasn't fun!. On the convict records there's Great Grandma , She got seven years, her name was Anne So they shipped her off to Botany Bay man, She never married but gave birth to ya Gran. Wot the Heck!!....are you bothered, Your got Skeletons.....in your closet Its your Family tree, and your proud as can be Who said Genealogy wasn't fun!. Who said Genealogy wasn't fun!....:>))) Rudes....:>)))))

Merle, hope you are feeling a little better Jood, you are bad, teaching little Lucas to play drums. Mum and Dad will not be pleased. Evening Wattlers Donna good luck with the op, and Im sure you will have a lovely time with sd visiting. Happy Christmas to you and your family and hoping for a better 2007. Merle, I was reading your post and I think with all us Wattlers you may have got a name mixed up, but you are forgiven as we have all done it lol. It is I that lives in Tassie, not Lara, although another wattler in Tas would be great. Yes Tassie is a lovely place but then Im bias, I could have had a coffee with you if we had met before you came over here last year as Carrick is only about 10 -15 minutes from city where I live, we quite often go to the speedway at Carrick. Pam loved the poems and the other jokes too :-))) Has your astma settled back down? Ok its bed time will be back tomorrow, I was going to be on here today a bit but I ended up being a big kid and played on the playstation a game called spyro. Cheers Sue
