Oh Jood, a similar thing happened to me once and this lady rang me up and accused me of ringing her all the time - home phone not mobile - and I had never, ever rung her number and have no idea how she got mine. She was obviously disabled intellectually and I felt awful but could only repeat that no-one had ever rung her number from our phone - which she didn't believe. Never did find out what happened but it really upset me. ((((((((HUGS)))))))) for you. All the best for you Donna, for tomorrow, praying for you :) Laurie, you will get up home just in time to collapse!! Hope the Zoo was fun today. Going out (again) for dinner - gee, don't know how I am going to be slim for Mudgee with all this Christmas stuff!! catch you later ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Vonny Hi Pat yes it was me with the licorice allsorts. I just gave some to the Canberra wattlers - *hangs head and fesses up * and have already eaten all the leftovers! maybe it's not the Chrissy dinners that are putting on the weight! |

Oh Jood - what a silly woman she must be. Hope you're feeling better now you've shared it with us. Hope you can forget all about it and concentrate on your holiday and happy times with family. Well 3C still has not returned so I'm printing some notices and will do a walk around the neighbourhood and hope someone has taken her in. When I was coming back from the bus earlier today our neighbours across the road have a sign taped to the street sign so I walked closer to read it - bad luck they have found a computer game and not a cat. Had some retail therapy this morning out at Allen's - they're closing down and daughter wanted a cutlery set so she got a 56 pce Stanley Rogers set for $84.50 instead of $169, a Kitchen Carousel set containing utensils, cutting board and container for $75 instead of $150 and I got some nice Egyptian Cotton sheets 400 thread count for $70 instead of $199. Anna - glad you got rain to start filling your tank, now could you send some south to help put out all these fires. Lara - hope you've had a good day out Mary - have a safe trip home. Glad granddaughter's night went well - what are her plans for next year? Tony - you should be so lucky, lucky, lucky - pppppppppp Hope the girls enjoy Kylie. So when's this next trip taking place - is Darwin or Broome more expensive than Perth? Lew - thanks for the piccle - very becoming for a Princeth. Hope the smoke clears soon for all those affected - hasn't been too bad here today, thankfully. ~~~~~~ to everyone (((((hugs))))) for anyone not feeling the best All the best again to Donna - big day tomorrow. Jood - have a great time in WA - how's the packing - will you be ready for your flight???????? Off to try and beat Yvette's 48 Gwenda |

Dont know if anyone else's puter screen has been jumping? because of an Ad ( at top of screen ) ' Loading' ...then your puter screen jumps. On general board there is few peeps who have the problem ( Screen Jumping ) caused by a certain Ad. It was happening to me, so i disabled Shock flash wave in tools section of Internet Explorer..and just added to the persons thread on how to make it stop ( hopefully ) Dont know if this will help everyone. I had the same problem ( Screen jumping ) If your using Internet Explorer, click on 'tools' ( at top of page ) then to Manage 'Add-ons' A Window will open. Find 'Shockwave flash object....Active X Control..Flash 9.ocx' under 'Enabled' ......Highlight it...then click on 'Disable' at bottom of small window..then o'k.......... Computer may ask you if you want to Disable, and some puters need to restart. It worked for me....Ad still says Loading but freezes and dosent load the Ad...so dosent jump the screen. Rudes....:>))) |

Now that I got a number while you were all busy or not keeping an eye on it haa haa Tony Sorry about our smoke, it must be going out to sea then back in again to Vic, as Launceston is as clear as, I suppose what comes around as we had the smoke from Vic on Sunday. Congrats on Barb winning tickets, hey you are coming to Tassie in March or something arent you??? Could use them for that if you havent got tickets already, but then I suppose the dearer the trip the better one to uses the freebies on :-)))) And yes sometimes my screen has got the jumps, I just thought it was the puta loading the screen and I was trying to get puta to go faster than it could, if that makes sense. Jood, enjoy your holiday, dont let the hassles with the phone upset your trip. I have a luncheon tomorrow at the Casino, and then Dannielle has her Grade 6 leavers dinner tomorrow night so it is going to be a busy day tomorrow. ~~~~ to everyone else. Cheers Sue |

Just got back from pickin up Chinese food.( seeing I'm batching tonight )....and visibilty is about 1km where i live. Hi all, thank you for your kind words and hugs, they mean a lot to me. .. Had a slug and I mean a slug of cream sherry, so feeling a bit better. .. Still haven't solved the problem of MSN & Live Messenger not working. .. Just waiting for the US techies to wake up. By the way - it was pointed out to me, why did the lady ring the police - they dont handle harrassments - cheez. .. You ring Telstra. .. Well I decided to ring them and ask how many times I was alleged (or my phone, rather) to have rung this number, and to my surprise they had no record of it. They said the lady must have pressed star 10 hash to find out who I was End of story. .. Board plane first priority. MSN next priority. (when I get to Perth). Then have a wonderful time (third priority). Good ole Barcode - yes, Broome/Darwin would be the dearest place to go, as you'd have to go to Perth first. .. Hope you can hire a car and go looking looking looking. Congrats on the number crunching - we are getting better and better at outwitting Cat. Yawning already. .. Mini bus comes at 5.30 - my god - I'll have to get up at ........................ 4.30am :( Jood |

Hi Wonderful Wattlers I've had a few busy and upset days so i haven't been on here. My ex-sister in law passed away and it was a bit of a shock to me. i knew she was ill but I didn't know she was that bad. I think she didn't want me told so I wouldn't get upset. But then I didn't get the chance to speak to her during her last weeks. I shall miss her. Life's a bit*h! Anyway.........I hope you are all ok and enjoying the lead up to Christmas. Big hugz to all my crazy friends Love Trifley X |

Day One Dear Nuala, Thank you very much for your lovely present of a partridge in a pear-tree. We're getting the hang of feeding the partridge now, although it was difficult at first to win its confidence. It bit the mother rather badly on the hand but they're good friends now and we're keeping the pear-tree indoors in a bucket. Thank you again. Yours affectionately, Gobnait O'Lúnasa (pronounced Govnet O'Lunacy) |
