Morning Wattlers Just popping on here on way to shower. I have a busy day today as have to go shopping, pay bills and then up to the Casino for a Chrissy Luncheon, then whe girls get home have to organise Dannielle as she has got her Grade 6 leavers dinner tonight. Spare a thought for all the firies and people affected in Tas and Vic today, as it is very smokey in Launceston today from the fire near St Mary's and a report coming straight from the area is not good and they are bracing for a bad day. Good afternoon Wafflers . . . Running into house switching puter on . . . grabbing a cuppa and lettuce sambo !! Phew . . . feel like hugging my puter - seems ages since I got to turn it on let alone read anything. Hot sunny day on the bay, with not a giraffe head in sight . . . not suprised - the number of ships that have been coming and going this past 24 hours. Now where was I ? Oh yes, we went to the zoo yesterday didn't we . . . and while on the way to town on the bus got a phone call from neice in Canberrra asking if she and Eleesha, (Miss 5yr old who thinks she is a princess mind you ppppp) could stay the night . . . No worries, there is still the mattress that can go on the living room floor . . teeheee (not telling what TLR said) Had a great day at the zoo - loved showing the two little boys everything, and listening to their chatter. Then home by 5.15 and over to the airport to pick up Lyn & Eleesha, then feeding time at the Brighton zoo, and just fell into bed in a heap! Then this morning one trip in to Central station for a 10.10 train, then another trip in to catch a 11.15 train . . . Taxi cap is now off and I should be getting TLR's gear ready for him to go to Jakarta in the morning but . . . here I am! Lyn & Eleesha have gone up to Singleton for a few days - and Marg and the boys have gone up to Katoomba till Saturday! Little R & R for me. Ray off tomorrow, Marg & boys off on Monday and I'm off up home on Tuesday. Phew . . . Sorry you got all upset over that silly lady Jood . . . just have a great time with little sister. (((huggles))) for our great Queen Hope the fires are on the decline down south and the smoke blown away. Got to go put some linen thru the machine . . . its niggling away at me luv Laurie

HONEY I'M HOME...... Good Arvo peeps and it is quite hot here in Sydney..Had a good trip home and I just love that M7 which takes us nearly all the way home bar a stretch from Pymble to Belrose. Best motorway they have put in yet. Jood Have a lovely holiday and and a good trip. I bet you are glad you are not driving all that way..lol big hugs... I love Darwin, and would go back anyday,, You must go to the,,, fish feeding, Mendle Beach Markets, and a full day trip to Kakadu. and the day trip to the animal parks south of Darwin, Havent my book unpacked to find the name. Well Im back from my chrissy Luncheon. I feel sooooo bloated, why is it when you go to a buffet where you can eat as much as you want, you alway seem to over eat and pay for it later??? But I just couldnt resist a lovely Summer Pudding they had it was made with bread that lined the mould, fruit, as in Raspberries, Blackberries Cherries all put in the middle, it was absolutely delish, sooo I just had to have some more even when I was already full, and of ourse I had to have cream too :) As for the smoke it has got worse over the day, have only heard one report from where the big fire is and the people in a small township of Four Mile Creek have been told that it is too late to leave now and if it gets any worse to head for the beach on foot, not to try and drive out of the place, Dont sound good, Well better get off here as girls are home from school and the place is about to be turned into a beauty salon, Tamika is fixing up Dannielle for her School Dinner tonight. Good to see that you are home safely Mary Well, it looks like John's mum's house is finally sold - everything has been settled, just waiting for the distribution of proceeds. John's family is in tatters over it but I guess time and much prayer will mend things. He is heartbroken. Love the countdown Brandy :) What a good idea.
