Morning Wattlers. Come on you lot. It's 5.15 am, wakey wakey, rise and shine, lol. Yes, again I'm at my computer at an ungodly hour, thanks to the Texas Chainsaw who shares the bed with me!!! Trouble is, you wake up for a little trip to the bathroom, get back into bed and the noise is enough to wake the dead. So, after tossing and turning for 2 hours, you decide, well might as well get up and do something constructive, lol Flakey, you should know that I'm also lurking somewhere nearby, lol. Tassie, that dessert sounds yummmmmy, but I think you might have had my share, lol :-) Glad you made it to Perth okay, Jood. How's it going? Hey you Melbournians, is it still raining there? Day Two Dear Nuala, I cannot tell you how surprised we were to hear from you so soon again and to receive your lovely present of two turtle doves. You really are too kind. At first the partridge was very jealous and suspicious of the doves and they had a terrible row the night the doves arrived. We had to send for the vet but the birds are okay again and the stitches are due to some out in a week or two. The vet's bill was £8 but the mother is over her annoyance now and the doves and the partridge are watching the telly from the pear-tree as I write. Yours ever, Gobnait

Good morning from a damp and overcast Botany Bay. Not a lot of rain has fallen, but today looks like that could change. Two giraffe heads are reaching for the sky, and there is a little wind around, but nothing like what sprung up about 4am. I have delivered TLR to the airport, and he will be off in about half an hour. I have the apartment to myself untill tomorrow afternoon! But, alas, TLR dinny want me to enjoy it too much, he has left me a long list of things to do for him which will take me out of the place most of the day. Its cuppa time luv Laurie

Hi all, the rain has returned this morning after an overnight appearance. Puts a halt to some of my plans( how inconsiderate). Yesterday was the warning for me not to overindulge in food over the festive season as I had indigestion for most of the night, yik. grinning happinesss for the day love yvettex

Morning all Off to Brisvegas today - girls are going shopping and Chris and I are off to do a tour of the new State Library and the National treasures exhibition. Morning All We have a lovely clear day today, hopefully it will stay that way. Sad to hear that a volunteer Firey lost his life yesterday, and another couple of homes gone. Hopefull we are over the worse of it. I have sent a couple of pics with Dannielle in her leavers dinner outfit, she very, very rarely wears a dress, too much like Mum and lives in Jeans :-) Also one of Tamika in her work clothes. I missed a couple out as I couldnt remember who didnt want pics until after Monday? I think it was, so if you missed out and want a look just let me know. Jood Glad you arrived safe, have a great time, Laurie how mean of TLR to leave all that work for you lol. He knows you love him though, plus it will make the time go faster til you go back up home. Good Morning don't faint its me,Lara yes showered hairwashed brekkied and all Its unbeleivable I know but the bloke two doors up who had his driveway concrete delivered at 3:30am had furniture delivered at 5:30 AM WOULD YOU BELIEVE BANG CRASH YELLING OUT AND TOOK ABOUT AN HOUR THEN THEY LEFT AND THE TRUCK SQUEAKED ,CRASHED, BANGED ETC BEFORE ROARING OUT OF THE STREET.got to go bye for now back later love Lara

Sue in Aus 15/12/2006 0 OH has just risen out of bed, now that all the beds (apart from oours) have been made and the washing all on the line :-( it is his rdo, so I suppose he can have a lay in. Forgot to share a very funny thing that happened at Woolworths today. John takes small tins of tuna to work for his lunch and I usually get whatever is on special. As I was perusing the Woolworth's own brand Selection I saw a tin that said - 'With Turkey'! I thought, that's an unusual combination - tuna and turkey. So I pulled a can down - top shelf - only to discover that it was CAT FOOD!!!! I wonder how many people bought it??? ppppppppppppppp, Vonny

Vonny. Mmmmm..'Cat food'......sounds like something Barb might do. You realise i am worried now........... as you know, Barb removes the labels from tinned food ( for comps ) and i never know what i might be eating.......Iv'e had this strange hunger for a roasted mouse lately. Rudes.....:>(((( Eating tinned spag ...i think!!!
