HO HO everyone, I've had the funiest of days, gone in a flash, was going to do so much but I've seem to have been on the phone most of the day, first a girlfriend then my sister then another girlfriend then our puta man arrived, oops forgot he was coming, good job I was still home, he and I chatted for ages, it's not me that knows how to talk a lot, honest! finally got the Aussie chrissie cards written, took them to the post office then made a donation to the woollies fund, hardly bought anything but still cost an arm and a leg, well I couldn't resist the special dog chrissie presents and I do have four dogs, they'll love them. Tomorrow I'm picking the gkids up at 9am and taking them down the coast to Wet an' Wild for a fun filled day, keeping them o'night might get to catch up on h/w round about Friday, dontcha just love christmas. deep breaths deep breaths, lol Jillx

Wot's ya new job Fanny - wot you doing???? I'se worn out too Sandra, I went all round the housewares/homewares shops today (my sister used me as the excuse, but she didn't really have to, as she knows I'm a sucker for those kinda shops). .. Bought a few necessary (hmmmm) items, that don't weigh very much. .. For some reason was thinking of Mary and her houseware shop she sometimes talks about. A few more shops to look at - she (sister) knows my favourite ones, and she likes them too. .. We will be going into the country one day, Toodyay (where they hold the annual Avon Descent race (white water rafting) - I am going to do some research on my kid's ggrandparents on my ex mother in law's family (she was adopted, I told you all). .. On Wednesday I am meeting one of that family for lunch, she was in the same highschool and business college as me, same age as me, had same teachers, even lived across the road from my aunty, but we never knew each other. .. Should make for some interesting conversation. Nearly time for all you eastern staters to think about beddy byes. Love Jood

Hi Jill - no - didnt see your sis lol. .. I think you said she lives around Fremantle, and we were in Innaloo, near Scarborough apparently. .. I just cheekily reminded bil we hadn't been to Fremantle fish markets for a feed of fish'n chips and he said just as cheekily back to me - 'you've only been here 2 days' (actually its 4, but he likes to stir me). I doubt I could have fitted a wok in my case, somehow! .. Sister said it may have been Houseworks, who recently took over from WA Salvage Company. (Still owned by Bunnings tho) Jood

Day Six Nuala, What are you trying to do to us? It isn't that we don't appreciate your generosity but the six geese have not alone nearly murdered the calling birds but they laid their eggs on top of the vet's head from the pear-tree and his bill was £68 in cash! My mother is munching 60 grains of Valium a day and talking to herself in a most alarming way. You must keep your feelings for me in check. Gobnait

Aussieone Report 18 Dec 2006 21:44

Morning Wattlers Well we had a good but sad night last night. Dannielle had her presentation night and with her being in grade 6 it is an end of an era, which I felt a bit sad about, as I had gone to the same primary school as did my brother and sister, now that my youngest has left primary, it means no more going to the school for functions or some other reason :-( Thinking of the firies and families still in fire effected areas, hoping they get the fires out before this weekend so the firies can spend chrissy day with their family. David and myself was talking last night and we are thinking about going to St Helens, which is near where the fires were earlier last week for a break. We are kid free for 3 days at begininng of Jan and if our landlord's shack is empty we might go and stay for a couple of nights, just the two of us, sitting on the verandah, having a quiet one or two, looking out across the bay, mmmmm I do love that area. Tony congrats on getting your certificate. Looks like self teaching is better that being taught by the education dept :-)) Sorry to the teachers, or ex teachers on here,I know you do the best job you can, just sometimes you learn more by life experiences that in the classroom. ~~~~ to all~~~~~ Merry Christmas. Cheers Sue

Morning all, well if this keeps up I’ll be well and truly smoked by Xmas, bet I don’t taste as good as ham or chicken though, and eucy isn’t the best flavour for eating lol – someone said the fire is at Porepunkah and Buffalo but there’s absolutely no wind, anyway, it’s close and smelly here, visibility two blocks. House lost in Beechworth yesterday as neighbour used slasher, sparked a grassfire, got the house next door !! – not entirely destroyed but bad enough. Loved “Casino Royale” last night, got the royal treatment re food and drink, long action packed movie and Daniel Craig is terrific in it. Have added Czechoslovakia to ever-growing list of places to see before I die! DD15 has orientation at Maccas tonight – she has noticed that earning money is useful!! Has two friends working there already so I’m content. Healing vibes to all needing them, thinking of you and ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~to all, Hz
