Jumping in while I can still say . . . . Good morning all from a hot, windy, smokey, Botany Bay Just to let you all know that Mary phoned me this morning . . . she is having troubles getting on line. If the problem is not rectified before she hits the road she will be in touch from Orange - she and John are driving out there on Thursday. I had a melt down yesterday, and am on a 'go steady' today getting sorted to leave early in the morning. Will be home on Thursday afternoon. . . yipppeeee !!!!! Thinking of you Oh Great Queen . . . Will be afternoon by the time I finish typing this so Good Afternoon all :) Still a bit coldy but over the worst - just spent the morning with dau and the grands at a Kid's Zone place. Was wonderful till about 80 kindergarteners turned up! The noise was then unbelievable!! Am plum tuckered out with taking Miss 20months down the BIG slide. It was an awful looooong way to climb up to it! She copied the big kids and learnt to scream this morning as she was sliding down!! :) I'm going to need a Nanna nap this afternoon. Still haven't done anything for Christmas, will have to get going this afternoon after my nap :) ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Vonny

Hi everyone We is back on line again... Thanks Laurie for letting the peeps know as I didnt know when I would be back if the problem had been the phone line as you all know how fast Telstra are.. We tested the modem on sons puta and it turned out to be the problem, so it was off down to the Power House in the Mall to buy a new one..John fitted it and bingo,, back in a trice..Thought I would have to ask Lara for the elastic band back for my puta...lol Professor Rudee Congratulations on attaining Univercity Status..I bet your family is proud of you,, Hope they pay well,,, havent had time to read back so will be back later.. i'm not partying. just a battle to use the net seeing all the boys are at home about tea time onwards. i've been out delivering junk mail, had an appointment and watched 'Borat'. gotta watch it for a mega laugh. its the bloke who plays Ali G, cant remember his name at the moment. if you have a look, keep in mind that hes actually a Jew and these are actual interviews/ moments. Found my fave recipe for coconut ice after ripping into every recipe book/ pile/ mag that I own. think I should do some cooking of scrummy things. I was a bit dissapointed that I couldn't buy fruit mince anywhere. so that the mince pies out for the meantime. made rice paper rolls for tea tonight and impressed the natives no end. Anybody still got their collection of pins from Robertsons. My oldest is from about early 1960s. Still a a bit dazed about getting a job, which reminds me congrats to Tony, you ol' nerd you. Poss has had a 'great day' with his IT efforts - not. Ummm realised i'm waffling so someone else can have a turn. oh its raining. been breezy and cool all day and now yippie. still haven't done h/w- bugger love Yvette xxx

Hi Joodls Go easy on the plastic.. When you get home its got to bend the opposite direction and just may snap..lol Looks like we are leaving for Orange on Friday so better start on the Christmas shopping before I go..Great about getting the ticket for the Hopman cup,, I will watch it on the telly.. I like to get the comentary on the tv as well which gives you a bit of insite to the players.. and also I am probably to plumb lazy to get up and go..lol Trifley I thought they were the picks of Neffer and his brothers.. he.he.he. Tvette What sort of job did you get..and when do you start..How many rice paper rolls did you make.. you would need a lot to fill hungry tummys ..no wander you havent had the time to do some H/W..but then who wants to do H/W,,,not me.. Awwww Fanny - I'd love to have a drink, but sis & bil dont drink :(( She said they had bottles in the fridge in the garage, they were going to tip them out, but now she has said I can open one at a time, and see if they are ok - over the next few weeks, and what happened tonight? Mary. did you watch sunrise (tv ) this morning?? a retired engineer found a gold nugget down in Ballerat somewhere ,it weighed in at just under 4 kilo. What a find AAAA. They're more like a transparent pancake shape that you fill with lots of vegies and things and roll up. Then you can dip them in soy or chillie sauce. Very tasty Off to finish cleaning. hi wattlers, been out on the bike in the rain to do my last weight class of the year. its been raining since last night but not bucketing down. still very pleasant. Rice paper Rolls 1 packet rice paper rounds (woolies sell them) 200 g rice vermicelli julienne carrots, cucumber. other protein content of your choice (i use thin sliced fried tofu - 350 gm packet, and a 4 egg pancake sliced thin) can use shredded chicken, bbque duck, pork, cooked prawns etc garnish inside with coriander leaf dipping sauce 2 T sweet chilli sauce 2 T fish sauce 2 T white vinegar finely chopped cucumber for prettiness prepare veg and protein stuff soak vermicelli in very hot water 10-15 mins drain & rinse in cold water, drain again use a plate with damapened paper towels or tea towel and do one at a time. be careful with the rice paper soak each piece in warm water until going soft and put on the plate in the middle organise smallish bed of noodles load up with protein and veg ( a small smear of wasabi is very good too) wrap like a spring roll so it end up about 10 x 4 cm eat as soon as possible. this amount feed all of us as they are quite filling, each person has 5-6 (do the math) there are 5 of us got to do the taxi run into town now so catch you all later love Yvette x
