Well I went outside and had a look to the skies, saw a plane coming into Launceston from Sydney, one plane from Hobart going to ???? but no plane going to Hobart, probably went down the East Coast of Tas. We have got a bit of high cloud that made it a bit hard to see too far. Cheers Sue

Shaz, re that storm yesterday - errrm storm you said? Well it was sooo noisy I thought it must be hail, but it was just clunks of rain - noisy but not heavy - didnt last long and then it became humid again :( Lew will be getting ready to board ship soon. Mary, I guess I'm getting a bit excited - but nervous - I know I can do it though. .. Just a helluva long drive. Jood

Hi! Everyone, I think I had better visit you a bit more often . Mary, how is John? Norman is in hospital for the doctors to try and sort him out and he is doing well and seems much better and happier already.I am also enjoying the break although I visit him every day and have a meal in the hospital cafe while I am there so I don't have to cook every day. I am going to visit Katie and the family on Tuesday so will try to send you some photos. I must run now, see you later, Love Sylvia XX

hellooooo, I'm hooooooome :) Just in time to wave goodbye to Lew I see. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Bye~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Won't be around much as raced home for a one o'clock wedding and have to go back for the 6pm reception. So won't find out about Lotto till tomorrow probably!!! Had a great week - I really enjoyed it in the kitchen working as a team with 2 others. they were the cooks, I just did what I was told :) I did not enjoy the noise that 50 young people can make or the loud music or the late nights!! But I survived and it was beautiful weather. Apparently it has been sweltering in Canberra!!! I'll catch up tomorrow with everyone's news. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Vonny

Ah, poor Wattie, can you imagine him with his little head bent over a martoonie glass Jill lol

Judy

Judy Report 13 Jan 2007 06:27

Don't feel sorry for Wattie Jilly - he copes with Martoonies very well thank-you, what with having Trifley, Lew and others leading him astray!. I just knew you would allocate yourself your daily bread I mean your daily VB tablet Tony. I'm off to Bendi on Tuesday 16th - 3 days away. Will stay at cousins at West Wyalong (Lauries sister Marie) - and then arrive at daughters place around lunchtime hopefully. .. And don't forget Wilson - if you are looking in - 12.30 at the Broadwalk Cafe on Monday 22 January. .. I wish some more peeps were coming :((( I look a sight here with my baseball cap on (not the Virgin one today - the Canning Stock Route one) - you see, the aircon and the fan above me play havoc with my eyes, the cold wind, so I put my cap on and Bob's ya uncle and actually he's mine too! Updating me laptops with virus protectors and fambly His Tree to take away, and me phone numbers etc etc. .. Sure as eggs I'll forget something! Weather a bit more pleasant now, turned the aircon off, but still need the fan to circulate the air a bit... I sent you all an email of my townhouse which I google earthed for. They have updated the site, and now I can zoom straight down the blue mountains, which I couldnt before. .. After I sent your pic, I wrote all over the map where various places were - if you're interested, email me. .. Sorry girls - I marked where the firies station was, but there are no firies in the street *smile - or rather smirk* Welcome home Vonny - will you sue for 'industrial deafness' ??? lol Jood

Hi all Threatening to rain here but I looked at the radar and it appears to be going to the East of us - butter! We had hail yesterday afternoon - no damage though and we had 16 mls of rain so that was very welcome. Have been to family history meeting this morning - now that we have moved our building to the cemetery, we have to be able to direct people who are looking for graves to the right place, so we had a grave finding lesson this morning - I am still no wiser. The surveying over the years leaves a lot to be desired and then they tried to map it all on computer and the computer doesn't allow for odd little bends and twists in the cemetery rows where they've tried to dodge trees etc etc over the years! This afternoon was Katherine's grand finale concert - they played the 1812 overture. It was magnificent. They've done such a great job in just 10 days with those young people. 120 youngsters in the orchestra - + tutors. We are all pooped now - I think I'm getting a cold and am going down hill fast. I'll have to stay awake until after the lotto draw tonight! Welcome home Vonny - I have tried to keep the word threads up to date with help from other Wattlers. Laurie - where are you - how is TLR's foot? Ducky - get yourself on here and talk to us. Trifley - hope the dreaded exhaustion will leave you soon. Good luck to us all for tonight. Anna

Hi Jill Jill I rarely read the posts on Gen Board - they are always sniping at each other. I generally just do the word games - and Wattlers of course. Aren't they all still asleep over there - maybe you'll get responses when they wake up. You were very brave weren't you! X Anna

Do any of you read some of the threads on the gens board? if you do have you noticed how much nicer it's been this last couple of days? Someone by the name of Paul the Other One seems to have helped it a bit, I was so impressed that I put up a thread of my own commenting about it, very daring of me to say the least. Sadly nobody felt the same as me 'cause I didn't get one reply, lol (I'm off the front page now) Just an observation. luv Jillx
