Morning all Well I did warn you about cat, getting the guns loaded, baits laid etc, but no-one took any notice - oh well, she had her fun!!! First up again in this household. The travellers arrived just before 2 last night. I had been asleep, but saw the lights of the car and trailer, so I knew all was well. I was worried about Greg, Laurie, as he had very little sleep. Bendigo got a fall of rain last night, steady, but I don't know how long it lasted for, probably not enough to do any good. When we google earthed Cheri's place, you could see all the properties were so brown and barren. But this morning I can see a few bits of green here and there in what was once lawn. How's barcode Barb standing up to all this tennis, Tony? Have you had to do any perms or haircuts while she is away on (enforced, hmmm) leave? Have a great day all, I'm off to feed myself. Love Jood

Morning all the wattlers and anyone else passing through. Hi there Jood, long time no talk. I am currently visitor free until 10/2 then we start all the touristy things again. Not that I mind with this b-i-law as he is a hoot, with the most wonderful blackest of black sense of humour that I adore. See you crazy gals are still number watching!! I presume it was the cat again who snuck in. Best be off as I have a day at work ahead of me, will wish you ladies a wonderful day and hope to get on here again over the weekend. Lyn

Much cooler this morning but we didn't have much rain :) Any champers will have to be drunk or poured over the boat - no way OH will let a bottle near it! :) I'll see what I can organise. Our itinerary is firming up - leave March - one week Great ocean rd, one week Goolwa area (boating +kangaroo is) one week Flinders/Coober Pedy, one week back on the river. Friends fly out 3rd April then we are on our own. Kids are staying in the house to mind animals for us. What we do for April - July depends on the water - but I haven't forgotten you Hz or Lara. :) I want to be home for Easter before we go again. Vonny

Good Morning Wattlers, Have been busy with all the Grandkids this week in one form or the other, snatched a bit of tennis when I could. You poor Victorian's what drastic weather conditions, today I see it's pouring with rain . They say very hot again for the weekend. Now back scatching.... I have this lovely long handled wooden hand brought for $2 in the markets and is the best back scatcher i have ever had.lol Today Lew will be on the ice...what an adventure. Good Morning Wattlers, another lovely day on the Bay. Thinking of Printheth Lew donning the thermals and wellies and heading out onto the ice. What a day she will have. Jood, glad Greg and your ex arrived OK, guess today will be a very slow one as the household recovers from the stress and worry. Go sit in the pool with the girls and have a good day! Oh no . . . rain at the tennis . . . Barcode will be beside herself . . . been some good games on though hasn't there. Well, war has been declared . . . TLR is in the bad books! I have just had to cancell the second appointment for him at the doctors to see about this ruddy foot. He had better not be complaining about it again until he does something himself, and he has been told . . . come Anzac day, and I will be walking to the cove with or without him!!! The sympathy and the TLC have gone . . . left the building . . . !!!! Nice to see Lyn drop in . . . yeah - see you next weekend. Shaz & Rob have invited Lyn, Mick, Ray & I to join them down the coast for the Australia Day weekend, so should be great. TLR has collected up his Aussie flags, ordered the lamb chops and made the wine selection - Oh and the music was being sorted last night tooo - noticed the CD case was full of Aussie and old rockers stuff so hope you can stand it. Cor we will have to have some trifle too wont we . . leave it with me. Tomorrow we will be out at the office painting - am guessing it will take up all of Sunday too as we are doing up a bigger office for TLR to move into. He wanted me to do two walls in the suede effect, but I talked him out of that (mainly cause it is such heavy going with the brush) - I did a few walls in the apartment downstairs with the suede a couple of years ago and it looked good but my arm hurt for weeks after I had done it. The desk and other furniture will get a going over again with the oil, dries out very quickly in summer. We rescued a beautiful old teak desk from out in the factory last year - couldn't believe when I saw it being used as a work bench with stuff spilt all over it. Did a complete overhaul and it is magnificent. Where is yah Yvette . . . get yourself back here girl, missing you. Morning Vonny, getting all exciting isn't it Morning Sandra - I had one of them wooden back sctratcher thingys but it broke . . . now I use one of those plastic spahetti spoons . . wonderful - rough and scratchy - and it gets a work out as I've had shingles across my shoulder blade and left me with nerve damage that feels like a constant itch. Edge on the shower screen works wonders too, other doorway edges here are rounded off too much to do the job. Dilema . . . the dishwasher dinny work last night !! Looks like I will have to go get a new on too Vonny. What brand did you end up getting ??? I just love a sparkly glass and I just hate washing up! Nearly up there with ironing! Found out yesterday where the town of Cobbera was . . . it is listed as place of residence on so many of my Magick family certificates. It was a little town between Dubbo and Dunedoo that no longer exists, so guess we will just have to go find it one day soon. Thought maybe from Mudgee we might go take a look in the area as its only a couple of hours drive. Sure to be an old graveyard still there some place, and may even find the old family homestead, 'Coretherbung' Printer wont work for me this morning - telling me it needs a drink of yellow, have spares for every other colour but no yellow so a shopping I must go.
