Evening all . . . Just in from the Printheth on the ice . . . (her reply to my question if she was hanging out with Printheth Anne) Of course, this is where all the princesses hang out. Having a great time. Have landed on the Antarctic and even went into Mawson's Hut. Truly amazing. Love to All the Wattlers xxx We didn't get finished at the office untill about 5pm . . . so another long day of manual labour. The office really looks good though, the colours his nibs chose are a burgundy (he calls it his QLD maroon colour) and a 'silver illusion' look really good together but a real pain cutting in the two colours. I am the one with the sore legs from climbing up the ladder to cut in and then crouching down on the floor to do around the skirting boards. We heard on the radio coming back here that two young lads had gone missing out in the bay, swimming from Dolls Point. Not sure what the outcome was, but from what we could see it didn't look like good news. I ducked up to Coles to get a chook for dinner . . . but they didn't have any, so we just had to make do with a crayfish and some prawns . . we deserved it after the weekend we just put in. Great to see you back online Suzy Q and Yvette . . missed you both. Lovely pickles thanks JA, Vonny & Mary . . looks like you have all had a good time. Boat is spectacular Vonny . . . well done. No good you both being ill Flakey . . . think I will have to report Tony to the doctor for handing out the wrong pills. Get better soon . . . drink plenty of water !!! 1.40am Qld time - Katherine is just home from Big Day Out. She had a great time - experienced the Mosh Pit and they had to crowd surf her out because she was feeling too crushed. Anyhow - she's home safe so I won't dwell on that! Time to turn off the puter for the night. XX Anna

Morning all - Gwenda - where are youuuuuuuuuu? lol Laurie, I think you should be 'Laurie DIY'' - like our 'Jude DIY''. I dunno - you girls climbing ladders and roofs and I thought you were ladies lol Glad Lew is having a good time - I couldnt imagine her not having a ball, somehow! Still cool here, and I'm lapping it up - it's great! .. Yes Tony - Victorian weather all right - up, down, across!!!!! .. We are going further south at the long Australia Day weekend to Tower Hill, so it could be even colder, certainly windier, as we will be near the ocean. Have been doing a lot of comparing notes (fambly his tree of course) and entering on laptop, plus general tidying up as well. .. scored a lot of lovely pics of the kids at xmas and will copy some more of the past year, so I can see what the girls have been up to. It is wonderful to have these pics on the computer of our grandkids growing up, such a nice record. Compared to when our own first babies were born, by the time the 2nd, or 3rd baby arrived, hardly any pics were taken :( .. right? Sorry to hear you aren't well Flakey - if we aren't busy changing tables, we will have a drink for you (tee hee) .. seriously tho, I'm disappointed you couldn't make it - and Lara too. .. Good morning Wattlers, Lovely sunny morning here - sun glareing in from the east and I can't see a flammin thing . . . wouldn't have a clue how many giraffe heads are reaching for the sky . . . the sun is in my way. Lots to do today, TLR is on his way to Adelaide tomorrow, just one day there and another in Melbourne . . . be home on Wednesday night. Afternoon all, Was up and away this morning. The kids finally moved out (again!) yesterday and took all their stuff out of the fridge. Leaving me with an empty fridge as it was all theirs!!! So I was off shopping early this morning to stock up. Ahhhhh Laurie - the Magic Faraway Tree series - some of my favourites. ~~~~~~~~~~~ to all and hugs to those who are down - Lara, I remember when I first stopped drinking tea, it took me two weeks before I got it out of my system!! Hi all Starting to cloud over here so lets hope we get some rain.. I wander if our Lew Lew is administrating pills to HRH...can just see it.. pmsl...bet she is having a fantastic time.. Funny thing was that in our hotel room there was a magazine of travel and one of the articles was the trip Lew is doing and a fab pickle of the boat.. Another article was on the boat that takes you from Darwin to Broom,, I think that is her next holiday she said..this one had its own hellicopter that took you on trips to the mainland and fab. spots. looks so good, she should have a ball..hope she likes fish..as they seem to eat a bit of that.. Must pop off to do a bit of food shopping.. Love Mary xxxx

Afternoon Wattlers Lara thinking of you, know how it is when you are trying to loose weight, but its worth it in the end, Cant remember if you said how much they want you to loose, but I can see where you are coming from with heart probs in family and wanting to loose some, that was one of my concerns that made me loose my 20 kgs. Vonny and JA thanks for the pics of the launch, looks like you had a good day. Vonny what parts of Tas is your son visiting?? Laurie bet you are glad you have finished the office, our landlord came and put in a new toilet cistern and now I think the toilet need spainting as the cisterns were different shapes might just quietly buy a tin of a nice coulor and paint it, that way I can have a colour I like, something along the lines of a peach or Apricot colour mmmm. We have had a big write up in our local paper abut Mawsons Hut in Antartica lately as they have been doing it up. Sounds like Lew is having a ball. Anna, can sympathise with you a bit, my 3 went to a concert last year. They had a lot of popular groups, one being Rouge Traders and the kids got caught up in the squash of the mosh pit, Tamika didnt fair too good afterwards as she nearly collapsed trying to get out, First aid officers checked her out as someone thought she was on drugs but it was just she had suffered a bad anxiety attack. So a call to dear Mum to pick them up early resulted, I was glad to have her back with me, had warned them about everything like watching their drinks incase they were spiked and not to take any food from anyone, never gave the mosh pit a thought, probably cause the concerts I had been too were a lot milder back then than now :-) ~~~~ to everyone ~~~~ Cheers Sue

Afternoon wattlers, I thought that I had better leave a message before I turn into a blob of rendered lard on the floor. It is stinking hot today, I think it could be our hottest day this summer. I am sitting here with my feet in a pool of perspiration LOL I rang the council this morning and guess what, the roo is still with us, and getting riper by the minute. And naturally the hot wind is blowing the stench towards us and not away. I mentioned a few problems that we have. Well I am a walking disaster area at the moment, every thing I touch goes wrong. I am now wearing glasses with only one arm. I took them off yesterday and one arm just flew off. Nice clean break though. Now I have to wait until they get a pair the same in to change the lenses over. I think it would be a good idea for every one to stay well away from me. Tony do you have any disater pills. Lara, I am woried about you, please take care. A mother and daughter who go to the same doctor as me had lap band surgery and they are doing really well, so don't be afraid if it comes to that. Flakey, I didn't realise that you had sold, I presume thats a good thing. Maybe your bodies are starting to go into melt down, it does happen you know, so be careful. Anna, has DD woken up yet? Oh to be a teenager again. On second thoughts maybe not. I liked my 20/30's best. Well must go I have some genes massages waiting Luv SuzyQ

Hi guys - been back a little while from a very nice lunch and talk with Wilson. Poor old Jude DIY woke up with a migraine - sounds dreadful - I feel so sorry for you Jude - hope you get better soon. We changed tables for you (Judes) just twice, and then I changed my seat once, (I don't know if they recognized us!) As soon as one drew breath, the other one talked, so we got through a lot of conversation. And, to boot, are going to repeat the process next week with a morning tea!!! Took a lovely pic of Wilson (which I will have to email later on my own pc) - didn't like the one of me so much, so will reduce it down to a postage stamp size hahaha Turned out hot here, the girls want me to go for a swim, but then Mum was going to the shops for food, and the girls decided they would go too (no doubt hoping to con mum into some sweets, or a video or something!) I will enjoy a swim when they get back, tho even in another hour would be better (5.30) as the sun is still quite hot out there. Remember what I said SuzyQ. Better go and get changed before the darlings get back. Love Jood
