Hi Wattlers My apologies Jood and Wilson for not making lunch on Monday - usually if I take 2 aspro clear as soon as the shimmery eyes start and lay down in a dark room I can usually beat the migraine, but this one was a doosy. Still felt nauseous all yesterday. Ken was very disappointed - don't worry I'm still hearing about it. He was sooo looking forward to lunching with 3 ladies (no competition - hehe) Thanks everyone for your good wishes much appreciated. Flakey you are as bad as digicat Got a newsletter from Lost cousins with the following: ONLINE CENSUS PETITION In the United States censuses as recent as 1930 are publicly available. Here in Briain the information is closed for 100 years even such basic information as name, age and address. Whilst you can now access the 1911 census information under the Freedom Of Information Act- at a price - the same arrangements cannot apply to future censuses because they are covered by different legislation. If you believe that census infomation should be made available earlier, and are a British citizen or resident, why not make your views known to the Prime Minister by signing the online petition at: http://petitions(.)pm(.)gov(.)uk/CensusInfoFreed/ (delete the brackets). To date around 5000 people have signed. 199 BONANZA FOR NATIONAL ARCHIVES? At 45 pounds for each household, the National Archives (UK) could make a fortune from researchers desperate to find out vital information about their ancestors from the 1911 census. Lets hope that they use the windfall to make more resources available online. If you are considering requesting information from the 1911 census of England and Wales under the Freedom of Information Act, we'd suggest you check out http://www(.)1911census(.)info for the latest news and tips. Maybe would could get a group discount if we win Lotto - thats a lot of polly waffles Royalty, Ladies and Sir T . Hope you had a wonderful weekend Queenie Laurie how are you at 12ft ceilings - I'll do the knees/skirting board thing lol. You and TLR must be right in the groove for painting. Mary ta muchly for the lovely pics of Sydeney - doesn't the Harbour look beeutiful. Vonny ta also for the pics of the cormorant - glad it was JA, John and you - I felt sea sick just looking at the pics - the boat does you both proud - can you call a boat handsome ? or is it a she - in which case she is beautiful. Still no sign of qwackers yet - where are you fluffy? We all sure misses you. Fanny and Suzy thank goodness your're back we were going to send out a search party. Went to Jon's combined 25th b'day party Friday night - wasn't a pleasant night to be outside - very humid, no breeze - yucky. It was still 28 deg at midnight when we were coming home. 25 yr olds have a very strange idea of what they think they will be like at 50 - it was a real eye opener, apparently there are going to be a few bikers, hippies, a pimp,a guerilla,a rice farmer (these 2 are aussie born (Phillipino origins) with a very funny sense of humour). A few of them turned up in beach gear (hawaiian shirts, straw hats etc) they apparently think they are going to be retired -hippies featured strongly as well. Maybe its not just the fashions which are 60's & 70's ! It was a very funny night - although hopeless bowlers the lot of them! Anna Jon went to the big day out at 20yrs old and I still worried - lol. Well had better get some more work done ~~~~~~~~ hi to everyone xx jude |

Well the Optus bloke has come and gone, and the tele pickle i must admit is an improvement in Digital. New remote control that allows more selections, and i also now have the History Channel too. So I'm happy, cos i only watch National Geographics, & Discovery Channel, plus a few movies TCM.....but Barb,........ well there's another story in itself....lol Not happy Jan, cos it took her 2 years to work out the other remote, and now it will take her another 2 years to work this one out....hee hee. Sarah walked in and flicked through the T.V like a wizz kid, understanding everything about it...lol.......which only made Barb more miserable. Why O'h why... do they have to keep changing things around, she says. Is nothing simple anymore..?? Gawd help me if i kick the bucket before her, and Sarah moves out..........cos she wont have a clue how to work it. Our Tele is a Home theatre system with surround sound ( so you get the feeling your at the movies ) so now with new Digital picture, it improves the quality greatly. Jude DIY. Its Laaaaaaamb Roast to-night, care of top cook Tony Oz, and no one...and i mean....no one, is allowed in ''MY'' kitchen while the Chef is knocking up another classic Roast......lol Tony Oz...:>))) *Chef Extrordinaire*... bon appetite |

Aw Tony, it's not nice to skite!! Puts my latest effort to shame. I sent my first photo to Lara this afternoon. Am excitedly awaiting a reply to tell me it worked. When we put the programme on it only recognised the printer etc but didn't all go on No wonder I wasn't getting anywhere. Still, better not speak too soon.Regarding My George FletcherI went into IGA last night. Found Ellens birth and marriage date 5 nov 1845. Then found Georges birth and marriage date but unfortunately no parents names. Ellens father thomas was recorded, giving a different birth date for him which is probably why I couldn't find him before. And to top it all off I've got his brother and his father as well. Didn't mind having a no sleep night after all. Sorry we missed each other girls but hope you had some success too. Jood, what happens on that other site when there are more than ten children pl;ease . Prolific lot the Endersbys. Got several lots of 12 or 14 children. Thanks for the advice. Am keeping an eye on whats going on re specialist and have been told there is supposed to be a locum coming down . that will help things along. I found a Len Endersby down here (long lost cousin ten times removed or summat) Himself told me what he calls those sort of cousins but I told him we'll have none of that here. Too old ) Anyhow,Jan, his oh is the receptionist so thats an extra foot in the door. Just keep praying that the sense of humour Lasts. Not a pretty sight without it I can tell you. Better go and feed the brute before HIS sense of humour deserts him . See ya Merle |

Just on my way to bed. Jude DIY you sound so much better now, I didn't dare ring you a second time as you sounded soooo poorly. I texted instead. .. Glad you are feeling good nowl Merle, I cant see why you cant add more kids, I don't think I've entered more than 10 (I'd have to check my records, and this particular pc doesnt have the up to date copy on it). .. I hate to skite, but Im on my tiny little laptop on dialup. .. I did bring my much bigger laptop as well, to catch up on my family history off line, but I tried to get google earth today to show Mary where my daughter lived in Tower Hill, but the graphics card is no good. Will wait till I get home 4th Feb. We are leaving tomorrow (Thurs night) and back Sunday, with no internet access - please be good and don't talk too much!!!! Tony, if I don't get to the cemetery, I'll ask thems to point it out, and will wave to all your rellies. Love to all Jood |
