One day a fortnight I baracade Mark's door with the vacuum cleaner, duster, mop, bucket and garbage bag. He's not alowed out of his area 'til it's clean. It usually takes him all day but he gets it done.

Trifley

Trifley Report 15 Jun 2006 06:33

I think we should all take up a collection for a pair of shoes for Crew. How about a pair of Dunlop Volleys?

Anna Report 15 Jun 2006 06:31

SuzyQ Do you have any Doc Martin boots - preferably purple - or Converse gym boots - preferably emerald green - as Katherine would drool over either of those!! Definitely not pink - she is not into pink at all! Mary - hope the peeps looking through your house will whip out their cheque book and write you a big fat deposit! Fingers crossed. I really don't know how much work Flakey and Witchy do - I think it's just a rumour that they started!!!! Trifley - if you find some way of getting Mark to do his room, let me know. I used to get in a tizz about Kaltherine's room but she just keeps the door shut now and what I don't see doesn't upset me! It smells evil - not bits of food - it's the gym boots!! Off to be re-aligned by my lovely chiro.......... Luv Anna

My skin is no longer green, it's a perfect mediteranean tan. The Good fairy had me make some stew. And the dandelion sap got rid of the wart. My puta has been witch proofed, so there.

Trifley hide all the clean crockery and glasses under his bed - leave the cupboards bare - and maybe he will do the dishes when he finds there are no clean ones available. Our oldest son used to be a fiend for eating all the chocolate and biscuits in the pantry and b****r anyone else - once we started hiding them in his room - there was some for everyone - he never thought to look there! lol jude

SuzyQ

SuzyQ Report 15 Jun 2006 06:09

Trifley give 26 yr old 2 choices - he make use of his skills or the board goes up accordingly to pay for cleaning costs. Or (you are about 11 yrs too late for this one or maybe not ) when our 3 children ( 1 girl/2 boys ) each reached 16 yrs old - they had to start doing their own washing and ironing, clean their rooms (vac and dust) to mums standard and change their own sheets and wash them, they were also on bathroom/toilet duties roster. My mother thought I was mean as hell, but we now have three very competent adults. Mind you I was working 7 days a week and they had far more spare time than I did! When they started working they also had to cook one night a week ( mind you we got a bit sick of lasagne every tuesday night it was the only thing oldest son would cook!) lol. jude ( meanest mother on earth)

Guess what Rebs. My lowest heart rate is around 85 but normally about 95., it's often over 100. Doctor doesn't seem to worry about it. I had hoped that it would get back to normal after I had my thyroid zapped but it didn't.
