Yeah right Jude. I tried that tact and didn't fool them for a minute. Bye Thumper lol !!! Very few census records. We didn't make a habit of keeping them. Most of the states have good convict records though, and if he ended up in NSW or Vic they have some of the most comprehensive BD&M records you have ever seen.

If I spoke to my Grandad and asked if it was ok! Would it be ok to ask you lot to look into it and What information do you have over there. i.e what census records do you get, what years does it cover for you???
