OK Rebs, hope you are feeling better Babe. I think you need to see Dr Lew. Maybe one of Trifley's boy will soon be home. I'm sure I saw them in Thailand today, taking the royal barge down the river for the kings's birthday celebrations. Really impressive. And I thought (I'm sure) I might have seen the mighty Queen (but not on the Nile). You either need more of the vino or lots more of the rum(bo). Don't really want to know if it was a Sunday roast or died naturally (as my parents told me). Anyone with a spare chick or two - I'm happy to relieve you of one or two of them . Trifley, Jann has named her chickens, but there has been so many have died and there are new ones, I cant keep up with them all !! .. As far as I know they dont eat eggs, tho I guess if she was making a cake, she'd use them. .. The lady next door, who keeps an eye on the girls when Jann is away overnight, mostly gets them, but occasionally I might get a few. Yes, my new bling was to look as pretty as your trararara you were wearing the other night. .. Not sure I like it though (mine, that is) Now Trifley just what is it that these brothers are good at hmmmmm???? .. Please explain. Jood

Yes, true i surpose, but there are certain times when a bloke needs to be tough, and times to be a softy. Having 4 daughters between 19 and 13 ( at one stage ) and many a boy would call on the phone. I would pick the phone up and one would say: Can i speak to so and so. I always replied with.....WHY?( Very loud deep voice )... Then the phone went dead 'click' A bit later daughter would say....did a boy called Mark call, Dad. Yes i would say. What did he want!!...I dont know, i would say, he just hung up.......:>))) My point was, if you wanna take my daughter out, then show me what your made of, and stand up to me,cos one day you may need to be tough to protect her. Lew, Re Terry's hearing aids , so glad he is going to wear his ,Tiger is supposed to wear at least one but he said it doesn't work, .......... well of course not when it's in the glove box of the car he should have been given a better one that stops outside noise ,I get so mad as the Govt. admits the gun that accidently went off right beside his ears caused this in Vietnam but they will only pay for a second rate hearing aid for him maybe when I end up in the funny farm because of having to repeat everthing sometimes twice of course could be a case of none so deaf as those who don't want to hear, lol Pam met another lady from Bribie due to funny circumstances and will send you a pm if she doesn't tell you first, her name is Sandra and I told her I knew you but just Pam not surname so maybe she is from your Fh group tell you about it Friday. Tony sorry had to go Dr and get drugs for the trip away as because I take what I have to need special permits, and my flu injection ouch so hopefully will not get the dreaded flu at least while we are away. Hi Honey's, I'm home! Well, what a wonderful weekend we've had! Thank God we're retiring in 17 sleeps, I need the rest!! Now, Rebs, I'm sure it's not a headcold, darling, it's sure to be a chest cold, pmsl. By the way, Terry was very happy to meet you, lol. Well, Terry's hearing aids were fitted today and seem to be working okay. There's lots of different situations he has to experience to see if they really do help, so I'll keep you all posted. I haven't unpacked yet, so my 'beautiful trophy' hasn't yet been put in a prominent place. I think on the coffee table for all to see! Trifley, Country Comfort is okay, but just another big motel. I'll investigate some nice B & B's and let everyone know where the nicest places to stay for the Mudgee Meet. Do we have any indication of how many are coming? SuzyQ, I can't wait to tell the Ford family from Idle about meeting Neville. That was just plain crazy! It was only because when we were getting lunch, I was picking on him asking him whether he had to 'lick road clean' (Monty Python skit) and how I used to pick on my friend's Mum, Pat, who was from Idle. Well, that was it! We were away. Neville used to sit with Pat's sister, Mary, at school. The world is definitely getting smaller, lol.
