Ooooo, we have a Mahjong set inherited from my father's family - bamboo and ivory (actually my youngest sis has it) We never knew how to play properly so just used to use it as a pairing game. The tiles feel lovely to touch. Vonny :-( just popped onto general. Oh dear.

Jood, you play Mahjong? I used to teach it at TAFFE I love the game but haven't played it for years, have almost forgotten how to play, this is so funny, I mentioned only the other day to some friends how I used to teach it and they want to learn how to play, so I sent Ron up to the shed to find our old mahjong table and one of our projects this weekend besides going to the dump was to refurbish this old table, Ron and I are going to brush up by playing two hands each, I think you know what I mean, and see what comes back, my main problem is I have forgotten how to count, but thats not a problem as this will only be friendly games, super friendly,luv Jillx

Pizza sounded nice Jill .. never bought one actually, usually make my own, but haven't for the past umpteen years. .. I got hungry for fish'n chips .. I have a shop about 3 mins. walk away, but I drive 15 mins. to a much better shop. .. Was lovely (and now I can boast in front of Ole King Cold) - I had a pineapple fritter too .. yuuuuuuuuum. .. Very naughty I know. Been playing Mahjong on here, it makes my eyes sore after a while, but keeps me busy. Jood

where are you all?, I know, you've all gone away to cook; red cook chicken. we actually sent out for pizza tonight, a rarerity, when it came after an hour, they thought it was a pick up, so we got it for free the dough was so undone we complained, very politely so they sent another, again not cooked properly, I gave up and just eat the topping, but as we had ordered hot and spicey my tummy is now complaining, ho ho can't win, poor starving Jill, ps looking thinner by morning.xx

Suzy, great recipe for chook if you like chinese, take one chook and leave alone for a bit while you do other things 3or 4 cloves garlic smashed and chopped about 1 tbls shreded ginger and 2 or 3 star anise soy sauce sherry, ask Trifley for some if you don't have any chopped up spring onions little dash of sesame oil place some garlic,ginger and onions inside chook put a little oil in a saucepan big enough to hold chookie baby gentle brown chook all over add rest of the ingrediants. okay now you're going to ask how much soy and sherry, enough to come halfway up side of chook,if too strong tasting add a little chicken stock but watch the salt content. have the chook on it's breast to start then half way through turn on to it's back let it cook slowly. ps still taste good without star anise but they do add extra flavour, luv Jillx

SNAP - we're having a chook too Suzy - CALM DOWN Mary, NOT one of yours LOL , I've just given the bird to the hubby (nicely) as he will supervise BBQ outdoors, then I'll stirfry the steamed rice (already done)and some veg, not feeling so energetic today after a late night and early morning, but it wqs worth it lol. Is Nubia playing is this football Cup thingy, if so I want to watch every match, let me know when they're playing will you ....lol....Hz

Chooks fed, soon I will have to think about feeding us. Chicken tonight. Not sure how to do it, any suggestions. Before I go, I will be doing more work on the list this week. Jill, Gallery Walk is on Tamborine Mountain. Donna suggested that because I live at one side of it and she lives at the other. O'Reilly's isn't far from me either. Tamborine to the North and O'Reilly's to the south east. Harvey Bay is very popular now, especially amongst retirees. Dragonfly, I am so sorry for you, but as Vony says some one has to live here and I suppose some one has to live South of Heathrow. LOL How is summer going for you. SuzyQ
