Good on ya Tony, Laurie and I had a scoundrel relative who among other things was supposedly a publican around the Ned Kelly area (1866). (His eldest daughter made the funeral dress for Ned Kellys mother and sister.) He was also a Coach Driver, Mail driver, Sawyer, Carpenter, Millwright, Labourer amd raced horses. Sadly his name is not there. Hi Lara, went to the big shops today, took it slowly .. just dont enjoy looking around the way I feel atm, was glad to get home .. but at least I got out for a while. .. Still cold and wet here in the mountains. .. Will put my elecky blanket on soon and jump into bed for a while (get ready for the party tonight .. tho we could start any time really, couldnt we?) Waste of time hanging clothes out in this weather, I agree. .. The yanks have the right idea using dryers but then all their clothes are pre-shrunk. .. (Imagine the electricity bill) .. My yankee friends are horrified that we hang our 'smalls' on the line outside for everyone to see .. geez .. (Stop covering your eyes King Cold) Jood |

Just added another link to my Ozzie thread on the tips board. Dont know if any of the Wattlers had Publicans in Victoria during the 19th Century...but thought i would list it just in case. Think Rebs said some of her Ancestors ran pubs in Vic.? Some of mine certainly did. All listed in Alphabetical order A to Z http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb(.)com/~pobjoyoneill/publicans/publicans.htm Tony Oz...:>)) Hugs to you also....U.K peeps. |

Devily 12c in Yarrawonga, sorry bs its about -5 I'm sure oh how can you stand the cold over there oh well I guess it doesn't matter if it's warm inside Sue don't worry about washing girl it will be dry when it's dry same here as washing line on the unsunny side of house and put it out and sometimes a day later still damp so then dry in front of gas fire now . Is there anything colder than hanging out washing this time of the year think the Yanks have the right idea and dry everything in the dryer your hands must nearly be frost bitten Vonny, shock horror doing fh I can't find anybody might bite the bullet and have a look at hotmatches they are probably up to about 50 pages by now . Hello Joodles you must be feeling better how was grandson has he grown ? Hello Heather in Albury , did you get my funnies ? We just got about 6 drops of rain here just now wishing for more but not snow thanks, will talk to you all later and hope the peeps in Brissie are having a ball good luck to them Love Lara |

Yoo Hoo Lara Can just make out you waving, fog has lifted now and airport is again opened, peeps over here waiting for their Herald Sun and Australian papers to arrive. David and myself just went for a walk down to Chickenfeed to do some 'Purple Chicken Club' buying, although the sun is out it is still bloody cold, clothes are on the line but I have a funny feeling I will be bringing them in nearly as wet as they went out :-( Yipee just checked the weather and at 12.00 it has reached 4.2 on Ninemsn weather page, it also said it was 12.5 in Yarrawonga and 8.0 in Melb, and wait for it a horrible 20.8 with rain in Bris. lol Cheers Sue |

Good Morning Wattlers, Whats left of it, our wafflers will be meeting soon in Brissie. Tassie S you could be different from the rest of royalty and become a Duchess. Duchess Tassie how does that sound LOl Its very overcast and had rain overnight and more to come in the Gong, a wet weekend for some. Sounds like Anna and Triffly had a good night at the show and after. Well off out to the shops, pop back later. Sandra in the Gong |

Morning Wattlers. Well its Frizzin darn sarf in Molben. Sounds like Anna and Trifley have already kicked there shoes off last night, and singing and dancing on stage. Glad to see the Wattlers are holding up tradition, and not letting the side down. Dont think Queen suits me Devily & Joodle, ( havent shaved me legs or nuffin )...but then a holiday is as good as a change, and walking the streets these days ya cant tell the girls from the boys anyhows......lol Good to see the Cats win last night, so Lara's Mike and son will be happy. Lara, your a Vic. mate......i woz just jealous cos i wanna be in Queensland too. My Mums up at Noosa at the moment ( having a holiday ) with my sister and neice. It was a Mothers day pressie for her from the family. 46 years since she has been in a plane....( a local flight )...and one of her dreams was to always go to Queensland. Its her first trip out of the State in her 89 years.........so would love to be there to see the look on her face, but sure i will hear all about it when they arrive home on Tuesday. Barb permed her hair for the big trip, and i asked her if she was taking her Bikini with her to walk the beach....LOL She replied....Do you think i could pick up a sugar daddy!!.....lol.........love her to bits. Hope everyone has a great day Gotta go make a cuppa for Barb, who's busy working in the Salon. Tony Oz...:>)) Viva,Viva, BrisVegas.......Elvis Parsnip |

I'm Baack!!! Brrr, dont know if that was a wise idea, walking in the fog, came home and my jumper and hair was very damp, still havent put washing out yet. Hope it doesnt rain on your parade!!! those up in Brissie, Says she thinking quietly to herself. hope it rains cats and dogs hee hee, someone was asking for a dog earlier pmsl. Hi Jood just read your message again about all the people naming themselves Princess and Queen etc, then I had to pick myself up off the floor when I read the part about Queen Tony :-0 No it doesnt suit. I was only thinking when I was walking around my suburb this morning, I live in a place called Kings Meadows, and my house has been referred to as a castle (of sorts), on the hill overlooking the suburb, soo if I live in a Castle in the Meadows of a King !!!! What could I call myself lol. Cheers Sue |

Hi Dr, good to see you again. They are all giving themselves Princess/Queen titles these days. .. I'm one of the few who is 'Just Jood' .. Oh - and Tony is another untitled one . .. Somehow Queen Tony just does not suit him. Have a great time today, wont you, and tell us all the goss. .. Bit worried about Trifley & Anna, dancing on stage last night. Jood |
