Jude I was thinking the same thing, I made a cuppa, came back and read messages, looked at a pic I am still editing, and my drink is gone ready for the next one. althought I know a few bomber supporters I have kept quiet a bit as we are not going much better, but that will change next week as Hawks are coming ove to Tassie so we will cheer them on to a win (says with finger crossed behind back) should be a good day as all the seats have already sold and loking to break the attendance record. Sandra we are having a quiet weekend here as girls go to their Dads for the second week of school holidays, on Monday a cousin of mine that I met throught here is wanting to go to another family member to get some details confirmed and run by them a possibility for having a family reunion, as I know this member better than she does she asked if I could go too, she has soo much energy and really wants to organise a get together and is happy to do all the organising, so Im happy to go along and help where I can. Good Morning Wattlers, Wet this morning in the Gong but thats fine by me All you Wattlers meeting in Brissie tomorrow have a great time which I'm sure you will, shall hear the talk and laughter from hear. Mary Good luck with the house inspection tomorrow, they say fresh flowers on the table, smell of baking and coffee perking all helps the sale, don't know if it works or not, anyway fingers crossed for a quick sale for you. Laurie you must have been really pooped by the end of your day (Thursday) did you have a nana nap lol. Who was saying about distance from the Gong to Moss Vale /Bowral? I think it was Vonny, it's about an hour and a bit I think, be good for a mini meet. And of course always Sydney for those closer to there. What are the rest of the Wattlers doing over the Long weekend while those lot in Brissie kick up there heels. I have a 5 year Grandaughters birthday party on Sunday, they live on a property and rain is forcast but they have plenty of space so not to much of a worry. Morning All Well same ol weather report cold, sunny, frost, 0 at 8.00am. I was just reading back on messages and it all of a sudden clicked to me my parents have been holidaying in Qld and they are leaving Brisbane this afternoon for Melbourne, wonder if they heard of a mad bunch of Wattlers meeting at Brisvegas and decided to get out while the going was good lol. Actually a thing called football made their decision as they are going to a couple of games over the weekend and back home on Tuesday. I do hope you have a lovely meet, those who are going, Laurie keeping my eyes open for the web addy for the security camera at the casino lol. Talking football Jude3 thanks for the information on the Boy Welfare matter, I did the right thing and forwarded it to David's Aunt and Uncle who, while we was in Melbourne at Easter, took us to that horrible place called windy Hill !!!!! Been awake for ages, just lying low. Mary, Mary - dammit - we arent waiting till Feb 07 for another meet, we will have one in Moss Vale and one at the Casino before then! Good Morning Everyone, Ooo Laurie live cam at Brisvegas - we wouldn't all feel left out then lol. Rebs run for cover! another very chilly day in Melbourne with a rotten thick fog. If we were having a meet down here I would tell you all to bring a thick fur coat (fake of course) and ugg boots, never mind tiaras and feather boas - a woolly hat and scarf would be just the ticket. brrrrrr..... oh and gloves. Have been at work two hours (started at 7.00 am) and the office has only just reached 13 deg and thats with the heater flat out. Ken informs me the misery gauge reads 6deg in the workshop. So have a lovely time in Brisvegas (saying it with clenched teeth) without the rest of us, in lovely mild weather (sob) twirling your boa's and flashing your tiaras, drinking virgin mary's and (mis)behaving - regally of course. Now remember girls this is a lead up for Mudgee so don't frighten the OH's too much or they will be reluctant for us all to get together again! lol I'm just off to make a cuppa, I'll call back in later and see if anyone has surfaced yet. Evening Wattlers . . . . Eight flippin pages I had to read with weary body & eyes . . . Firstly . . . I thank you for the laughs 'knuckles in spines' PMSL . . . . The 'Jack' knuckle is in the knee joint joint of the leg . . . And yes, they still make them - they haven't invented another way for the sheep to bend their legs without them . . . When I was living out west, we used to kill our own meat - so there were always plenty of fresh jacks . . . nephews son actually sent me a set of them for a pressie last chrissie from out on the farm! He had painted them all for me. Joodles, no good trying to contact me on my mobile while I am out here at our home - no service - remember I am out in the sticks, and Telstra doesn't look after us country folk very well!!! When I left the apartmnt at 4.30am this morning it was freezing - so was all rugged up - arrived Bris bit before 7am and I started peeling off - such a beautiful sunny day! I have had the house all opened up - probably first time since I was here in January. We still have windows open. I was out here at home at about 8.30, after a quick hello to the boys, and I've washed and scrubbed and beat and chopped the day away in the house and the garden. Then back into airport to collect Ray at 9.30pm! Supper with the kids - and back out home! Got to get me some sleep, so I can get stuck back into it tomorrow . . . so will catch up on my coffee break (all of them heehee) Sleep tight . . . . Tony, HOW MANY SLEEPS ??? Cheers luv Laurie
