Oh Jill you have put an end to my boasting I had a turks turban pumpkin plant this year that produced 19 pumpkins and I thought I was doing well - have to try Japs next time! Glad your head is better nothing worse than the after celebration head - after a couple of vinos (especially red sort) my brain feels like it follows 2 steps behind the rest of me and then bashes into my skull - lol. Jood have a delightful recipe for Thai roasted pumpkin soup - it will clear your airways no worries - lol Just enjoying leftover spag bol for lunch - hopefully it will warm me up from the inside out. jude 3

Feeling fine now thanks Jood, had a nice mug of home made pumpkin soup. A bird must have dropped a pumpkin seed and we just let it grow, and it grew and it grew, in the end we harvest almost forty Jap pumpkins off it, everybody who visits goes home with a pumpkin under their arm. Jillx

Ha Ha Jude .. I had a laugh at you calling a customer Dr Lew Lew .. that'll teach ya! Today I drove to a shopping centre nearby, taking an elderly neighbour along for moral support, just to get a few groceries, and buy her a cup of coffee. .. She's popped in to see me a few times and I appreciated that. .. She doesnt drive, so doesnt get around that much, except when her daughter offers to take her somewhere. .. It was the least I could do. I coped ok, but very tired, back to bed for a read and rest. .. So I am getting there slowly. Probably just as well I'm not going to Brissie .. I couldnt keep up with you lot! How's our other Jude boasting about her sunbur err - suntanned body? ... b******dy cheek! Can we talk loud yet Jill Jill? Or does it still hurt? Jood

Morning Wattlers, Lovely frosty morning here, suns up now and no sign of rain...still. I have two chooks, let them out for a scratch about yesterday afternoon and forgot to lock them up again, guess what my fenery looks like this morning. I am sure they know that they are not allowed there, they don't go near it when you are around but the minute your back is turned in they go. Oh well shouldn't have any snails and bugs for a while, just a bit of a clean up. Trifely, i was reading about your poor sick oh, do you know that when you have a doctor certificate for work, if you go to work you are not covered by workcover as your doctor has deemed you unfit to be there. So b****r what the boss thinks, he should stay home and get better quicker. Hope everyone else is fit and well. It is a sniffely time of year. Did anyone else take advantage of the cheap flights offered by jetstar? Oh and i are off to WA in July for a few days $378 return for the both of us. I am really looking forward to it. Ok I am off to do some of that nasty HW, take care all Wilson

laurie, tell that boy of yours I'm going to kick him in the knee caps. I can reach there. hehe !!! On a more pleasant note, the weather here is beautiful. Warm and sunny, and not a cloud in the sky for miles. Breeze coming off the water is slightly chilly, buts that's to be expected. Temp has been in the early to mid 20's all week, so hopefully that will last for Sat and Sun for our visiting Wattlers.

Good morning all, a clearer day on Botany Bay this morning, though there is a large bank of dark clouds hovering off shore. The sun is shinning for the moment, and there are for giraffes basking in its rays. There is a lovely big, bright blue ship over at Port Botany, so much nicer than the dull grey we normally see! I'm sure it would be easier to see at sea too!!! Trifley, how is Mark this morning - have the drugs kicked in . . . hope he spreads his germs all over the nasty boss!! Rebs, the lovely Ray is 6'1' and both the boys tower over him - Glen rests his chin on top of his Dad's head every time I go to take a photo of them . . . Anna give Katherine a big well done from me too . . . nice when they achieve isn't it - a nice reward for your efforts too! Oh !!!! JILLY, JILLY, JILLY !!! Oooooppps sory luvie did that hurt your head (chuckles to self) Its not the wine that causes the headache, its the preservatives . . . . so know you are being well preserved, that should bring you comfort!!! I have an early morning flight up to Brisvegas in the morning, Thank goodness I only live 7 mins away - as I have to be at the airport at 5am! Bbbbbrrrrr . . . gunna be chilly! Guess it will be a Qantas Lounge breakfast in the morning !!! Suit me better to go later, but better for the boys to come meet me before they go to work! Having lunch down the street with friends today, so best go get myself organised. Will drop in later and catch up Cheers luv Laurie

Just popping in to say goodnight. We have been celebrating - Katherine gained Honours in her music exam. The first thing both both Chris and I said to her was - 'Imagine how well you'd do if you practiced!!!' Mary - you must be so excited that you've secured the unit that you love so much. I'll cross everything and wish that your house sells really quickly. Shall catch up with you all tomorrow. Sweet dreams Anna Exits singing........... 'What good is sitting...alone in your room Come, hear the music play Life is a cabaret, ole chum... come to the cabaret Put down that knittin'...that book and the broom It's time for a holiday Life is a cabaret, ole chum...so come to the cabaret Come taste the wine... come hear the band Yes it's time...for celebratin' Right this way your table´s waitin' No use permittin'....some prophet of doom To wipe every smile away Life is a cabaret , ole chum... come to the cabaret' Twirls the feather boa! Von, we always use tropical strength 'RID' when we go to Indo - sorry girl - but not a time to be too concerned about the chemical content . . . you just have to make sure that none of the little blighters bite you !!! We even have to take up large quantities of the RID for friends each trip !!! Did you get lomotil and charcoal ??? luv Laurie
