Hi Wattlers It's 9:15 at the end of a long, weary day. Mark rang work at 8:30 am to let them know he was crook.....the boss infered that Mark was ok and just wanted the day off. Needless to say I was NOT pleased. I managed to get Mark in to visit the Dr and he's been diagnosed with respiratory tract infection. He's on antibiotics and panadol to ease the aches and lower the temp. The Dr gave him a cert for today and tomorrow however.....Mark is determined to go in even if he has to crawl. It upset him to think someone would think he would lie about being sick. I'm driving him to work in the morning. I don't want him tackling the 'long car park' that is Gold Coast traffic while he's sick. It'll serve the boss right if all the staff come down with the bug! I had a quick read of the posts but I'm tired and not a lot of it made sense. That is...less sense than usual pmsl. Jill Jill.....congrats on the moving out of your son. But if I were you I'd wait untill he was right out the door before I celebrated. They have an awful tendency to come back. Lara....Marks lap top puts itself into 'hibernation' when the battery gets low. ie...when I use it on battery NOT power. I don't do anything. It just either goes black and switches off OR I get a little window which says 'going into hibernation' then it switches off. Have a look in your.. ...'My computer' then 'Control panel' then 'power settings'. It might have something there. I just settled Mark with pills and a drink so I'm off to bed. OOOHHH JILl JILL You did bring a smile to my face..I have been there and done that 3 times and know how you feel... Have another bottle on me...we will all celeberate together...Love all my kids to bits but its nice to see them branch out to a life of inderpendance..I think we could have another bottle... Well today we went and had another look at the unit and I love it more as I had a chance to have a good look at it..on our own without the saleslady present.. we made a offer and it was accepted as we had to do something fast as ther was another lot looking at it and we might have lost it if we didnt do something..We have to sell this place fast so all say a prayer we do..or we will have to support the bank and get bridging finance..not something I want to do.. I do hope you all in Brisvages have a lovely time and wish I was comming up for the meet..I had hoped to do so but this house business got in the way..I will now have to wait for Mudgee..You lot are the nicest of peeps I have ever met and am proud to call all of you friends..Us nuts mix well dont we...wait till you get together you lot and you will be going home with dry sore throats from laughing so much and talking too much..serves you lot right..
