And the top of the morning to you all... Been for the early morning walk and it is clear and crisp with not a breath of air stirring - should be a beautiful day. Not much exciting happening today - the dreaded h........k and must do my homework for the writer's group. Bit worried about Tone - he was mentioning the men's chat group that he contributes to - do you think he sent a message meant for his mens group to us?? None of it made sense and we have no Gerry on here!!!!!!! Lew Lew - I think Shazz and her husband are coming to the Brisvegas meet and she mentioned bringing her cousin and her husband as well and as far as I know, Pam is definitely coming. Very grey day here on the bay, the lights are still on over at the giraffies feed bin . . . nice steady rain falling . . . lots of little vegemites out on the road tooting horns - amazing how many still haven't got it to turn their lights on in weather like this. Joodles, you had to be there to understand last night - I have no idea - I ate too much chocolate, only had one wee baileys so must have been a sugar rush! Lew I think Pam from Bribie might be coming down to Brisvegas too! Ray said it was warmer over in Adeleaide than here last night, said he took the jacket off walking down the road looking for dinner. Good morning Prattlers! It's just taken me over half an hour to catch up. Tony, just how many tablets did you take. Quick phone the ambulance, me thinks he's overdosed. We'll have the have his stomach pumped, pmsl. What's the mountains weather like, Jood. It was -5 here, but now it's warmed up to -2! bbbbrrrrrrrr. On with the air con! Boy, we're pleased we got that mulch put out. At the least the plants will be a bit more protected. 5 sleeps 'til Brisvegas and 25 until Retirement! Good Evening Wafflers or whats left of it, wattlers seem to be moving around a bit lately hope your enjoying yourselves. Hope the mini meet and the big one is a blast sure it will be. Am up late tonight, just watched the finale of Blue Healers and now the Soccoroos are on playing their freiendly against Holland. Tony I noticed a few pages back you were saying about getting the tube into London from Heathrow. I don't know if you are aware but if your flight comes in to terminal 4 which most do from this part of the world, from Jan last year for 20months the tube is not running from that terminal but shuttle buses goe from there to Hatton Cross tube station to pick up the train to central London. Another option is to get the Express National rail service that runs every 15mins from T 4 non stop to Paddington a bit dearer than the tube but an extra option. Of course you may already know this. thought it might help you a bit.On the site visitingbritain.com they have an excelent link to the transport system, you may already know about it? Mary don't work to hard on the house and wear yourself out. By the sounds of some of your posts some horrible peeps have been at work again, don't know what it's about and really don't want to know, I think if GR closed the Gboard down they would mass exit from the site. Evening all Have just popped in and gather there is bile on the boards again. Funny - there was an article in our Sunday paper about how we are all gettting crankier - road rage, shopping trolley rage, parking space rage, queue rage, smoking rage, pet rage - the combined pressures of work, family and finances are making us all stressed out and ready to snap. They didn't even mention internet rage! I'm glad I've retired and have less stress in my life. We don't have bags of money but we have enough to meet our needs so I'm left with the family to stress me out! I strongly believe that we choose our behaviour - we all go through stressful times and we don't all deal with it by taking it out on our fellow man. I'll be lining up with my shovel if we have to tunnel out of here Rebs - just give me the word. Trifley - have fun with Shazz on Wednesday - it's going to be a very social week ahead by the sounds of it! Good night all XX Anna PS MAKE LOVE NOT WAR !!!!!!!
