Gee, even though I locked the cat flap the Cat still got in!! LOL ~~~~~~~~ to Julie. Looks like I need to revive the very first thread I ever posted on Genes. It was entitled Error Messages GR Should Use. I might just go and nudge it up just for fun as it is topical again. At least 'keep your fingers crossed' shows a sense of humour :) back in a mo. have nudged it up. This is my favourite: You step in the stream, But the water has moved on. This page is not here. feel free to add your own verses :) congrats to Katherine, Anna . My hubby used to be involved in musicals in his teenage years - certainly kept him off the streets :) Joodles thanks for the web address, I'll check on it later. better go and put the washing out :) Vonny

Morning Laurie, we renovated an old 1890's Inn, just out on the Lue Road, and we lined the bathroom in mini orb. It looked fantastic. We also had an old claw bath, wash basin and pressed metal ceilings, all of which were rescued from the couple of old houses they pulled down to build McDonalds. The house was then used for guest accommodation for about 4 years before we sold it. A young family now lives there and he is a history teacher at Gulgong. They absolutely love the place. Lucky we were the buyers, 'cause everyone else just wanted to bulldoze the old place, but we saw its potential and now it will live on forever! Lew Lew xxx

Not only is the first sign of madness talking to yourself Julie Cat . . . the second sign is answering yourself - you did a pretty good job of that too!!! And gloating . . . thats not nice!! Gwenda, I wonder if memory sticks will work on us human beans ?? My floppy disc gets soo full sometimes !!! Great little things aren't they - One of these days I am going to get handy with the engraver tho and number my sicks, they are all the same and it gets confusing! Keep your fingers crossed sounds more better to me than that Happy genes error . . . really would be nice if we all got a msg letting us know when they are going to be messing about with the site though . . . I'm a bit sad that they took off the old tree program - I still used it rather than the new one - just what you are used to I guess. Glad you had a good day yesterday Lew, Queen of the Mudgee Castle . . . Curry sounds nice, good to see you keepin the man in the kitchen where they belongs! After Terry went to all that trouble to cook for you girls, surely a little pole dancing is not too much to ask! Well my Saturday will be a packing one - getting everything ready for Ray to go to Adelaide tomorrow afternoon, and me off to Brisvegas on Monday morning. So looking forward to being with the boys, and my friends. . (new and old . .. . or . . . Wattlers and sane ones )) Trying to not think about the work side of it . . . but I am under no illusion as to how much there will be to do! Glen did say he would spend the day out there tomorrow, his girlfriend Nell has said she will sit on the mower for the day so I dont have to do that, while he does a spring clean on the house. I can just imagine that he has just packed his stuff up - moved out - and left it as it was . . . but I could be wrong (fingers crossed hehehe) I have a plumber booked to come in on Wednesday to give me a quote to redo the downstairs bathroom, Thinking of having the shower walls done with the small corrugated iron, (colorbond) rather than new tiles, I rather like the look of it, have seen some that look good with the slate - Its a big room with a claw foot bath, and an old washstand for the vanity, so I think the iron will fit well. Wish I had thought of it first time around - never did like the shower! We never had a shower in the house when I was growing up, just the old chip heater over the bath (deprived childhood), but we had showers over at the shearers quarters, wonderful they were. You had to light up the wood copper in the laundry and cart buckets of warm water into the bathroom, and they were the old pump action ones, darn awful in winter you would get cold as you soaped up cause your hands were too busy to keep pumping. Washing the hair required a sister to pump while you squished the shampoo out of the hair. Guess what . . . the sides were corrugated iron, and there were 4 showers in a row so it was all in fun! Shearers union wouldn't pass a bathroom like that today ! Well now that I have had my trip down memory lane I'm off to the shops . . . . after I have had my cuppa that the lovely Ray has just made. catch ya later luv Laurie

Blasted cunning, that Cat, pmsl. The girls now want to have a sleep over! OMG, they'll kill me. No, Terry banned any table dancing, although the little blighter said he wouldn't mind a bit of pole dancing, heeee, heeee, !!! That's great news about Katherine, Anna. You must be very proud. The kids here in Mudgee are very sports minded. The parents and schools insist that they all attend weekend sports, so it keeps most of them off the streets. The PCYC is also very active. Good morning Wattlers Hmmmmmmm! Julie Cat - I think it's not fair that you sneak up on us whilst we're sleeping! Naughty cat. Lew Lew - who do the girls want .....Terry for his curry or the man servant??? Or both!!!!!! No talk of dancing on the coffee tables I note! Rebs.....I saw you flash in and out! We've got to be quick to catch Rebs. Not many sleeps to go! Don't know what all this talk of 'cross your fingers for GR to boot up' was about Joodles - I didn't have a problem. Must not have been on at the right time. Laurie - wish you'd send some of that rain up to us. Yes - it's great that Katherine is so involved in her music - she doesn't have time for getting into questionable activities! Tonight is the big one - cross our fingers. Let's hope Queeny and Nefer chose good numbers. Have a good day everyone XX Anna

Morning Joodles - you snuck in while I was typing and wresting with 3rd cat who wanted to walk all over things. Think I've decided her name is '3rd cat' GR was fine around 10.30 when I got back on but very annoying when you can't - guess 'keep your fingers crossed' is better than the Happy Genes error - or is it - lol

First sign of madness Julie Cat - talking to yourself - ppppp Okay Lara - you can resume your normal typing - we were all impressed but don't want you slowing down tooooo much - pmsl How's the packing going - maybe you can send Tiger out golfing when you want to smuggle your 'important' bits & pieces into the van. 3rd cat has arrived again - haven't fed her this morning - she just licked one bowl clean - bit like Coldwater - pppp She can sure purr - hasn't stopped since she came in. Off to the shower - have had booster on so water should be nice and hot now - trouble with solar in winter when it's cloudy but so long as I remember to give it a kick I don't have a lukewarm shower. Mary - glad you found a nice unit - can you secure it with a deposit on condition of your house selling - hope so Glad you got rain too Laurie - think we are promised an early shower and then it should fine up again. Have been having fun with my memory sticks - got 4 on the go now and cleaning up lappy. Catch up later Gwenda
