Joodles I had a look at the messages and found the print facility . . . If you go in and read a gr message someone has sent you it has a box for printing down the bottom next to the reply box ! Thats good - save the copy and paste - will have a go at printing one later and see if it just prints the message or you get the whole page luv Laurie

Good morning Wattlers . . . Another mystical morning on Botany Bay as the sun shines through the clouds, we have white ones and dark ones and blue sky in between! There are five giraffes standing tall on the skyline, and a busy airport in the foreground. I like to watch the early morning O/S planes arrive and wonder at the places the peeps on board have been to/come from/seen and experiences they have had! In other words Day Dream!! Lou I am sure each of us will try and solve your mystery in our own way . . . be an interesting exercise if each of us who have a go put the method we use out there! Rebs I didn't have any problem getting the thread up - the site obviously has male (selective) hearing - I have never lost my contact list either, as some seen to have over the past two weeks. The lovely lady who gave me the addy for the Hampshire records office has just sent me a message offering to go get photocopies of the book of my gtgtgrans washalady accounts! How generous is that! There are some amazing peeps on this site aren't there. Morning Gwenda, glad your getting the rain - my neice and her hubby are all happy this morning too - even though they have had to cancel some jobs - they have a bobcat/ditch digger/truck business - out at Torrens. Just had to break the crust on the dog's water bowl, so he could have a drink! Geshtu is polishing the crystal in anticipation of today's luncheon. He has been very busy making sure all is in order. Think I know why the boards disappeared for a while yesterday - go and have a look at your messages - there is now a box for print - saves lots of mucking around Have just received a photo of my 3xgrandma from my Philp family and then a GR message regarding this same woman from another person. This is from my mother's side so she will be very interested. 3rd cat has come acalling again - climbed the back door after banging on the cat flap - cheeky devil she is. Raining still in Canberra - 20 mls so far - and it's all been steady which is really great for the gardens. Off to shower and brekky, have a great one, catch up later Gwenda

Hi Everyone, I've been reliably informed that your a helpful and friendly bunch and that I should post my query here. I would really appreciate some help on this and if any of you can help me I'll be eternally gratefull. I am fortunately enough to have discovered some new relatives since starting this quest and they have given me a copy of a letter their parents recieved many years ago. The letter was signed 'your cousins' and the christian names of Enoch, Harriet and three daughters named Jessie, Lily and Doris. The address was Livingstone Avenue, Botany Road, Botany, Australia and the date was 13th February 1927. The relatives don't know which side of the family the letter was from and so far I've not traced anyone with those christian names. I have since I first put up the thread on other boards contacted the Botany Bay Library who have informed me that they have searched the Valuer Generals List and the Sands Sydney Directory with no success and have suggested I look at BMD's but without a surname this will be impossible. Will any of you super sleuths be able to help me? Baker is the family name and have been informed that some of them went to Australia but who, when & where the family remaining cannot remember. Thank you Jill for you help and suggesting I contact this board, I've made a note of the suggestions so far and will follow them up. Wow you lot sure had some excitement tonight . . . glad to see all restored! I was chatting with Anne Honey Rum, when I read my mail - one there from Joodle telling me Wattlers had gone . . . Anne & I both nearly flipped - but by then all back to normal (whatever normal is) Ray asked me tonight at the dinner table who else will be at Brisbane meet - I was doing just fine, Suzy & Neville, Shaz & Rob, Lew & Terry from Mudgee, Rebs from down the road from Glen, . . . . . then I got myself into trouble, I started to tell him about WineTrifle . . and Pharohs . . . and nubian black 6'6' slaves . . and now he is considering haveing me certified !!! Hi mad lot I've had a wonderful day. Birthday lunch for a friend and then a happy, chatty visit with my ex-sil. This turned out to be a late arvo and early evening so I'm pooped now. Congrats Devely.....it's not often Rebs gets beaten to a number heee heee. Ok whats all this about my boys? Cat...I want Adapa back in good shape...and what exactly is he doing with his hands? I can tell you all....the boys are NOT going to Brisvegas! You don't think I'm silly enough to let them near all you lot? The bath is in the hole....sorry Vonny...you missed out.
