Hi Joodles I don' t think you can help me Jood as I am trying to find William Wilsons death and his wife was Margaret Wilson nee McEwen I ahve been able to work out there dates of being born both of them from Emma Wilson's Daughters birth cert that I have but there are so many William Wilsons born about the same time and I dont know his parents names so can't use that and same with Margarte as she was born in Sterling Scotland I havn't her birth details but do know it was 1830/32 and don't know her parents names either . I'm going into Marbract now on the net and getting their marriage cerificate sent to see if it helps me at all with names of parents then I can get their deaths which will tell me hopefully the names of Emma's siblings , please let me know if you think I can do any other way please . Thanks for the offer but don't you going too much ok love Lara |

Yes, Anna, I might have known there was a catch in it. .. I didnt really need the info .. was just typing in my grandfathers name for his marriage (which I know). .. No information there anyway. .. Why do we have to pay for all this info ..... grrrrrrr (not certificates, that is understandable) Lara, I am intriqued by your Wilsons from NSW. .. Even tho I wasnt born here, I do know some of the gold mining towns .. can I help you with anything? Hope the Ber-rocca worked Tony .. Manys the time I have resorted to that as a last resort, but not in recent years. Trifley I prefer cream sherry myself .. yum. I remember when I was about 14-15 my girlfriend and I raided my parents liquor cupboard, and drank nutty brown sherry ... ugh .... obviously my liquor tastes weren't very discerning. Jood |

Jill....let me know if Nefer's brother arrives ok. Lara....the sherry is Mildara Wines....Autumn Brown, sweet sherry. Has been around for yonks but not every liqour store carries it. 3months and 3 weeks to drink 9 bottles.....I don't think that's too bad. That works out to about 65 mls a day. I think I did well to make it last that long :o) Coffee time! Be back later Trifley X |

Hello Joodles - glad you had a good rest. Just had a look at that new records section. You have to buy credits - $10.00 for 50 credits that expire in 7 days! Funny - I hadn't seen anything on the site previously about that new facility. Passing strange methinks. Anna |

Hello all, Tony did you know we won mate hehehe, I did join in the song sang it at the end of the game turned tele up so Tiger who had spat the dummy and gone to bed could hear and then sang it with the boys too. Joodles glad you are home and resting stay warm and don't go doing anything silly like going out in the cold or too strenuous spell hugs (((((J))))) Jill-Jill give your daughter a big hug too she deserves it and please know we all are here for each other , do hope she gets her licence. If you havn't had the an email explaining the washing machine yet send me your email addie thru genes pm's and I will send it to you . Julie Cat, Lamb would be good our friends had one for their back yard of house they were renting and they had a barbie when they all moving on and we were standing there hoeing into the meat that was barbecued and someone asked what had happened to their lamb and they all started laughing we were eating him poor little lambkin , but he was delicious . Trifley what sort of sherry do royal persons partake of please just in case one such peep ever comes to my humble abode it would be nice to know ??? Vanessa lots of info and leads lucky duck good one Laurie Now Laurie ........ Goes of into messy files to see what Laurie can do with them I need help don't know what to blame here is it age, tablets, child or just this crazy woman , but I'm making myself a wreck trying to make head and tail of my files etc I start on one lot and end up doing some thing else entirely . I'm trying to get them all sorted so as I can take them away and work on them while away from the stress here I'm sure trying to do too much at once like pack to go away for 3months two lots of clothes needed warm till we get up far nth and then the summer clothes having put on nearly two stone since being home doesn't help having to try all the clothes on before packing or will be running around naked as lots don't fit oh oh story of my life . Tiger well he says just pack me a black singlet and stubbies she'll be right and won't go and get some new shorts for golf he says what he has will do and they are falling apart from being washed so many times made a boo boo and got him bone coloured shorts and he is a grot comes home and says those shorts will do tomorrow and when I pick them up of the floor they have dirty hand marks all over them why would you use your golf towel when your shorts will do UUUURRRGH. Anyway peeps no new news re my locket , man who was going to help me with my Henry Ward has disappeared of the face of the earth and no more on my dippy ODay's, so now I'm going to concentrate on Wilsons and McEwens for a while and see what I can find one thing I did find out was that Braidwood where a lot of my NSW peeps lived was a gold area which I didn't know before , I guess if you live in Sydney or NSW you knew this , also Laurie have learned a lot about Sir Henry from this book on Quong Tart a lot of the book is also about dear Sir Henry , although nothing in there that will help me solve the puzzle re the locket , but found Margeret Scarlett who married Quong Tart was disowned by her family for marrying him so she was a brave lady ok going off to do some research now that will maybe sort some of my files out for me love to all and hello to all havn't mentioned Lara |

And a Hap, Hap, Happy afternon to all the Wafflers Hi Jill......I've sent you a PM about the washing machine. I hope your daughter does well with her driving lesson. How ya going Joodles? Now deep breaths.....fill those lungs up ....and exhale! That's the way! Healing thoughts on their way. Hi Devley...how's your MIL? Give her a big hug from Nefer...that'll cheer her up pmsl. Rebs....you seem in good spirts today. Is it because we only have 14 sleeps to Brisvegas? We might have to walk around inside the casino a little after lunch so we have enough room for dinner. Or you could lead us in an Irish jig.....that'd certainly move lunch along pmsl. Mark has a mate who plays in a band there a couple of times a month. So there might be music for me to sing along with :o) Hi Shaz......Robina shopping town is medium sized. Nowhere as big as Pacific Fair but still a good size. It has DJ's, Kmart, TARGET, Coles, Woolies, Howards storage world, Pillow Talk, a few little home decorating boutique shops, a candle stall (made on the GC), lots of shoe shops, clothing stores, jewellery stores, Crazy Clarks and quite a few coffee shops. It's not hard to spend a couple of hours window shopping and drinking coffee. Two things I love. I'm sure you'll be able to find somewhere to work off your retail therapy. Hi Cat... I watched a programme about the Chelsea flower show last night. It looks fantastic. If you like flowers you should try to go next year. Lew Lew...hooray about the furniture! Now you'll have something to sit on...yippee. Any more gossip about the X and the saga of the lost kids? Has Terry told his kids they have a half brother and sister? Doncha just love it when Karma comes back to bite someone, like her, on the bum? Jessie, the dog, is getting restless so I'd better take her for a walk. Be back later. Trifley X X |

Jill I do admire your daughter as it cant have been easy to go through what she has and come out so well.. I do hope she gets her licence and it will give her a new independance which is good..You can Waffle as much as you want on here as we are all here for each other and we all have had children and know it isnt easy sometimes..Despite that we still love them..Saw a sticker on a big 4WD way out west and I had a good laugh.. It said.. We are spenking the kids inheritance and then going to live with them and be as big a pain in the A... as they were to us..Our kids kept saying every time we went away in our caravan we were going on a ski holiday...Spending the kids inheritance... Told them what made them think there was a inheritance..to leave..LOL Joodles.. Life is rather busy at the moment. Just dont seem to get anywhere sometimes.. Busy getting the house ready for sale for when a nice unit comes available, plus babysitting the Gkids plus John is not so good at the moment and has to go back to the physio so it is all keeping me busy.. Well must away so back later Love Maryxxx |

Hi everyone, SIX pages wow I'said to myself they don't arf talk a lot, thats my cockney comming out, glad you're home Joodles look after yourself. Can someone please explain to me the washing powder joke, we don't watch commercial tv that much so If it's an ad I haven't seen it, it does sound funny though. My daughter had her first professional driving lesson this morning, it went well, she's thirtysix now, she missed out learning when she was younger as she ran away from home when she was sixteen got into bad company and ended up a drug addict, got herself on the methadone programe and then got off that, she's been clean as they say for eight years, I really admire her strength, we were always there for her but she had to do it for herself, I'm waffleing on now, will stop, but I think what I'm tryng to say is that if any one out there has that sort of a problem never give up hope. okay thats it said my bit, thanks for listening Jill |

Hi all again, Dont worry about me Suzy - I'll be alternating between bed and sitting here, (where its warm) I have been told to sit up a lot, helps the coughing. .. So here I am waiting for you lot to entertain me ???? pmsl Tassie. so sorry to hear about your ex mil, and hope she improves. .. Ex mil's are still family as far as I am concerned, I used to ring mine frequently before she passed. Laurie, pity you couldnt have taken a video of the little Japanese dancers .. were they funny? or did they dance different to us? .. Please explain pml Yes, I thought it was a lunch that kinda might drag on to the small wee hours (in Brissie I mean). .. I should rephrase that .. 'that kinda WILL drag on to the small wee hours'. .. Mary what a pity you cant go. .. I am going to be the first to say slow down mate .. you are going too fast. .. Live life in the slow lane. .. You are here, there, everywhere, in the garden, down in Canberra, up north somewhere and now you are off again *gets down off soapbox* .. <ooer, bit wobbly> Think I've had my say! Jood |

Good Morning Wafflers, It's cccccold here this morning, the sun hasn't got through yet. Tony, I was going to put my hand up but Laurie beat me to it. Joodles, stay in bed, or on the sofa, by the fire wrapped in a nice warm rug. Trifley should send nefer down to you, to take care of all your needs, hot chocolate, chicken soup etc LOL. Hi Shaz, I don't mind if your cousin comes to Brissie, but I thought it was a day thing that may spread into night. Devily, sending positive thoughts to your MIL, it's is a worrying time for you, so you must also stay positive. Thanks for all the Wattle club updates, still need a few more to complete it, but some members are just like ships that pass in the night. Julie Cat, if you would like a list please send me your email addy and your birthday and where in the UK you are. Year of birth not necessary. Well, it's back to h*******k for a while, visitor coming soon. Luv SuzyQ |

Rebs - keep your knickers on............I've been out for my morning walk. I'd have been back sooner but left late as brother dear rang me to say he is off to America next weekend. Lucky sod. He's bought a mobile home - it's waiting over there for him and he's heading off towards Alaska. He's been there before and loved it. Half his luck. Meanwhile - back in good old suburban Toowoomba! I've put on yet another load of washing and still no luck. I know what you mean about getting OH in the machine SuzyQ. Mine hasn't been entirely co-operative either. It reminds me of that story about the cat going to sleep on top of the clothes in the drier and woman switching on the drier only to hear the cat yowling pitifully from inside. Poor pussy. Sounds like you had a fun night Laurie - and free floorshow to boot! We have a large Sudanese refugee population in Toowoowmba. Most of the poor women have only known camp life in Sudan before coming here and then they were taken directly from Brisbane airport to Toowoomba where many of them do not have cars and walk everywhere. The local refugee support group organised for a bus load of the Sudanese to go to Southbank in Brisbane so they could see the city sights. Well - they couldn't believe the high rise buildings and they just loved Kodak Beach at Southbank. Whipped up their sksirts and went in paddling. Along came a group of Japanese tourists and the Japanese men wanted photos of themselves taken with the tall Sudanese women. Lots of giggles all around. Glad you are taking it easy Joodles. I'll bet it is great being back in your own little nest. No place like home. I can well believe the horror stories about the public health system. Don't get me started. Bit worried about your sherry consumption Queen Trifley - and I'll bet you take it straight and not mixed with cake and jelly either! I can see I'll have to pour you into a taxi and get you home safely in Brisvegas as you gave that useless Nefer the weekend off. Waving to everyone at home and afar! Have a good one whatever it is you're doing! Luv Anna |
