Afternoon Wattlers Nice to see you Michael, if only briefly. Laurie, now what are you trying to make me out to be? Telling poor Jill that I follow the game of football for the gamesmanship, she will probably think I am also one eyed pmsl. Its not true Jill, I have one eye brown and the other is gold, I only spit the dummy if we loose when we should have won, I have a feature wall in the lounge full of players (so I can observe their bods) lol. When we go to the game we will only sit in one place, thats with the cheersquad :-) And we even have our letterbox painted up in 'Hawk' colours. Now back a few years ago their was a saying that if footy was a beauty contest my team would win time and time again, so there must be an attraction with their looks also lol. Gwenda you mentioned about cross country wrestling and I thought you might be refering to proper wrestling, inside a square ring, until I read you posting again, as I was watching WWE Wrestling last night, not bad bods on that too lol. You definately had it colder up your way than we did this morning, it only got down to 5 overnight, still no rain and a dry weekend is being forecast. Lew not sure if I can make the trip in Feb, but if I can make it, the 17th Feb would be the only weekend that would suit me if it suits everyone else. Well I know where I am going to buy the Wattlelotto tickets when it is my turn. Two weeks ago someone won a share in 1st divi, she bought the ticket in my shopping centre. Last week I went to my usual newsagent to buy my lotto and the machines were down so I had to go to the newsagent in the same shopping centre where the big one was bought the week before, well today I went to get this weeks lotto and we had won a div 7 in Tuesday Oz Lotto worth $14.00 and David also has a system 7 on Saturday night lotto and it had won 3 prizes in div 5 totalling $94.65. I collected $108.65 all up. Mmmm now what do I want to buy lol. So hopefully the luck will hang around for a couple of weeks. Hi to everyone else, and a special hug and warm wishes to Joodles, hope she is starting to feel a bit better. Cheers Sue |

You know, wish all these B****Y BDMs in other areas were free searching like our NSW one, would make it so much easier to locate dead peeps, exactly I wonder, what does our $20 actually cover, enough whinging, back to research Laurie a question, when you now receive messages from GR does it not go into your outlook express entry anymore, but go directly into GR messages, just wondering if it was changed or if my PC playing up, thought I might have accidentally hit the block button in express, but checked and I havent, thought I would ask Cheers Shaz |

Afternoon all, ~~~~~~~~~~ to Michael, long time no 'see'. Am away for the weekend starting midday tomorrow. Going down to Sussex Inlet chasing bits of boat with Hubby. Will catch up with you all tonight but don't worry if you don't hear from me for a few days. Back Sunday evening I hope. Thought it was a trifle chilly this morning Gwenda - that explains it :) Lovely sunny day though now. Catch you later ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Vonny |

Lew, I will have you know I have only ever had 1 empty sherry bottle in my life . . . only used for cooking purposes in this household! Now I wouldn't have a leg to stand on if you had said, Red, or chardy or champers or etc etc etc . . . . Besides, last slurp was on the plane on Monday night . . so I must be drying out! Hi Michael, will pass on your good wishes to Joodles, I'm sure she will be back on board before long, can't keep a good woman down . . . Now get back to work Lew, our 'lady of leisure in waiting' I've got dead peeps to find! cheers luv Laurie |

Hi, peeps, please pass on my best wishes to Joodles, I wondered where she had got to. And hi to all the rest of you, from sunny and warm Dundas. The first long weekend of summer was a bust, cool and grey (like me!), but now it's a working day, it's just lovely. Ain't it always the way? Michael (probably the one you didn't think of) |

Jill, As I look out my window over Botany Bay - I have a birds eye view of the docks at the container terminals at Port Botany and the airport. The giraffes come in two colours, red & yellow Most times they are used as slaves to unload the ships - other times they have their heads reaching into the sky. At night they have lovely fairy lights to adorn their long necks! Thats my story and I'm sticking to it . . . luv Laurie |

Good morning Wattlers, A lovely clear day here on Botany Bay, just a few wispy white clouds so would appear the rain has gone, just a verly slight cool breeze. We have 5 giraffes with heads held high, sunning themselves, not much activity on the water - but the airport is busy as always! News on Joodles this morning is that she is still waiting for the c-scan . . . feeling much better, but still very wheezy! she has asked me to thank you all for your good wishes. Got the good numbers Tony . . . thanks Leah, where is the big party on Sunday going to be ????? Hope your are ready for your big party tonight Tony, Happy 5th birthday to your little grandie, hope she has a wonderful, magical day! Yes Gwenda, I agree with the description of cross country wrestling - most suprised with hubby though, firstly - he didn't use his tickets to the game, and secondly - he didn't even watch it on tellie. One of the things they enticed him south with was Gold Club membership at Telstra stadium, so he gets 1 complimentary ticket to everything thats out there, plus first option to buy others . . . I've been to a Grand final and a State of Origin with him, just to experience the atmosphere, but not interested in watching the game - just the people ! Some folks leave their self respect at the gate I think. Lew, thats impressive . . . Bethany must be a very talented girl, well done to her! My mum always wanted to go to Chelsea Flower Show, so maybe one day I will do it for her. When you get your house all decked out Lew, you may have to change your name to Queen of Mudgee Castle! Nearly time to sit back and enjoy it all . . Hi Julie, dont forget to share the poem . . . one thing that was done really well when I was going through the school system (yes, I still remember smart alecs) was the appreciation and knowledge of Australian Poetry. There was as much poetry in our household as there was music - driving anywhere we always took it in turns to pick which song or poem we would all either sing or recite. (Town was 90miles away on a dirt track - had to something to pass the time). Morning Jill, the girls on here are not like you at all - they only watch their sporting heros for the gamesmanship . . . especially that Devil in Tassie, then theres Lara, and not to forget the swimming fans, and queen of the tennis circuit the lovely Barb (Tony's better half) . . . . I myself appreciate swimming & cycling - purely for the sport you understand! Got another def match up last night . . . another one in Rays family - not the one I need to break down the brick wall - but it confirms I'm on the right track. Off for some window washing, city smog tends to make them very grotty - you know the windows need cleaning when you clean you glasses every 5 minutes and it makes no difference ! Have a great day everyone cheers luv Laurie |

Morning everyone, great game last night even if we did loose, I just love seeing all those lovely thighs pounding up and down the field and my husband thinks I watch it just for the love of the game lol birthday is 19th Mar. and the year to remember was 1947 one of the worst winters in history so I was told although I was snug and warm. get well wishes to Joddles, my husband had pnemonia once and I can remember how sick he was so do take care, you have got to give yourself time to recover.
