I used to HATE handwashing my kids' cuddly toys. It felt like I was drowning a dog. Horrible!! Hope Jamie's cuddlies come to no harm. Dee x |

ok Bouncy Penguin is done ... phew he looks ok!! Pingu is in the dryer - he doesn't look any cleaner than when I started!! So long as they are dry and back on the bed before he comes home! He had a nose bleed at nanny's but wouldn't let her wash them - told him but still best to do it while he's at school! Maz. XX |

I will never forget my neice when she was about 2, her mum had to get the spot dog off her and into the washing machine before she could grab it back, the child sat there and watched the whole wash go round and round till it was finished!!! still it restored it from grey and you could actually see the spots again :-)) |

Maz ..... you have made me remember my grandson. He had a teddy bear that he would not be parted from. Time came that it had to be washed..... he sat crossed legged on the floor in front of the washing machine with silent tears rolling down his cheeks.....I felt like a criminal.....had no dryer then and had to put teddy in the airing cupboard....finally to finish him off sat him on the radiator .... was I glad when ted was dry.... shame on me never washed it again.... he finally gave it up when he was 13 bless. Hope your story has a happy and peaceful ending with no lumpy bits. Jean x. |
