Bec...thanks...it's not anything serious, just annoying really...and a good thing i don't have a needle phobia lol Andy..... just 3 off them today as i had a tetanus in 2002 so got off lightly. If you haven't had them yet you need to move a bit quick if your surgery is anything like mine. I had to have a double appointment with the nurse and had to wait 2 weeks for her to have a space to fit me in!!! Good job it wasn't an emergency lol |

Paul it's the Hep A that needs a top up after 6 months, then you are safe for 10 years. As for close....just a bit, and i am struggling so much to raise the money that i fear i may have to sell the husband to get there.....!! *hmmm wonder how much he would raise on ebay......................* |

Yvette - you are in the wars aren't you? Hope you feel better soon. Did you see my message on another thread about 'going up the city'? Used to be an 83 bus from Tuckswood to the Lame Dog,( cost a pennyha'penny) which must have been a pub, altho I don't recall it. Wonder how it got it's name - I must have a look another day and find out - maybe I will write to Derek James. Liz |

Hiya Yvette, Hope yr arm feels better soon. Im booked to get my jabs next Tuesday morning. It took me from the beginning of Dec,when i had to fill a form in at the doctors until Tuesday to get an appointment ! Which ones do we need prescriptions for, does anyone know? On my form, the nurse has wrote Typhoid and Hep A,but the prescription looks like Hep A and Polio? Anna :-) |

Oh poor you Yvette - hope both arms are better soon. Had my jabs last Christmas fortunately so won't need any more. Just off to the hospital for my x-ray now. Do you think the other trekkers will carry our rucksacks? Daisy |

Hi Liz, just seen your post about the city, lol...i am afraid it's a bad habit i picked up from my grandparents, they always called it going into town..... when they visited. I haven't seen you for ages, how are you keeping? I have been really busy trying to fundraise for this trek, with limited success, the contacts from the Lord Mayors event rumbled on for a while before pulling out which was a shame. If you have any ideas for anything shout...lol Susie...you will be worn out carrying everything for Daisy and i, lol, but thanks for the offer :-) Anna I didn't need a prescription, maybe it's a surgery thing?, anyway i had Hep A, Polio and Typhoid today, didn't need the Tetanus as i was up to date. Maz Sadly they are all out at the moment so i am having to be a brave soldier and get on with it....lol and my older two are out for the weekend which is a good thing as my arm needs not to connect with one of them at the moment, and my resistance is low due to their current attitude problem ;-) As for Mal, i wonder how much of him i would need to auction....can't offer the whole thing as i need him to walk the dog til my arm is better.. pmsl |
