For the past few days I have been recieving unwanted e-mails, the person who is sending these is not one of my contacts, and the e-mails have got a 'worm' luckily im protected but I have tried to stop this person sending me e-mails by blocking, it hasent worked any ideas? Roxanne It is probably because the sender has a virus on their computer which atomatically sends a message to everyone in their address book. Let them know that you are receiving these emails and that they need to get rid of the virus as they may not even know. Lynne

No its someone calledClairehe@hotmail Its happening everyday now, and everyday I have to do a security scan and clean, its a real pain!!x Thanks Christine, I think thats my best option. Roxanne x

Ive had 4 so far today, Im just doing a scan now and so far 14 Infections have been found, yesterday i had 20!

Roxanne I once had an email virus and unbeknown to me my computer was sending out random emails without my knowledge. I was fortunate that one was sent to a member on here and her antivirus stopped it. She then emailed me to let me know, otherwise i would have been none the wiser

If you have a virus that is sitting in your PC unknown to you - it is probably sending infected e-mails to your addressees......... ONE way to be aware of such a problem is to add a 'false' address to your address book starting with the letter a - for example 'AAAAbrwwwn@ ...your provider. If the virus sends an e-mail from the top of your list.....you will be the first to know when you receive a 'Failed Message' notification. Incidently, I am getting unwanted e-mails from suppliers of Viagra, and other people interested in increasing the pleasure of my sex life, banking, and share opportinities, ete, etc, .....the list goes on and on. WHAT puzzles me, is that they are not always addressed to me.....so, how come thay are delivered in the first place......you try sending an e-mail to a known address, and get just one letter wrong, and it comes back to you as failed! oh Roxanne - if you're still about - just wanted to say thank you for the tip on the temperance bar. Photographer went down today to shoot it.
