Been to put some petrol in the car and as I went to pay for petrol I caught the top of my leg on the petrol cap cover flap which I thought I'd closed. Now have a lovely big bruise at the top of my left leg. About the size of the top of a tea cup. Ouch!!!!!!

Joy, Sorry to see you've joined the ranks of the injured. Maybe we should start an INJURIES thread, where we could post our accidents and get mass sympathy. At the moment, Daisy has an injured arm and I've got a sprained ankle and recurring Housemaid's Knee. Any advance on that? LOL CB >|<

Maz Yes I do bruise easily and always have done. No wonder Mother used to get funny looks when I was little. Joy

Empathising with you! I had a fall on 17th December, and still my right knee is bruised and hurts! And I have a good scar on my right eyebrow which is still tender to touch. And my front tooth that was knocked will be checked over (again) at the end of the month. Mine was an expensive fall - new glasses, and maybe soon expensive dental treatment! Empathising with all people with ouches! :-) Joy

MAZ !!!! LOL Funny thing was - I twisted my ankle while I was out shopping with Daisy. I caught my heel in a wonky pavment and fell forwards. She was walking in front of me and was the only thing between me and falling flat on my face, so I reached out to grab the back of her coat and just missed hitting the back of her injured arm. Daisy then turned round very quickly, thinking she was being mugged or something, ready to thump me as well! So we could have ended up in a heap on the pavement, scrapping with each other - much to the amusement of two blokes who were stood in a nearby doorway and my husband, who was walking beside me until I suddenly disappeared and shot forwards at an alarming rate. We got some very strange looks from other people as we continued walking, laughing our heads off. CB >|< ;>)))

Joy have you got red hair? apparently we bruise more easily. My mum was questioned about my bruises when I was little as I had so many, still do, like you just need to knock myself and it comes out straightaway.

CB its true - mind you my eyesight is awful!! According to my GP pineapple is very good for bruising - you eat it, don't rub it in!!! oh and of course don't forget good old arnica :-)) Maz. XX

What doesn't help either is the leg I've bruised is the leg I have problems with anyway. Have a trapped nerve in my hip joint from carrying me son. Doctor says the only way to relieve it is to lose some weight.

Dawnie No I don't have red hair but I am very pale skinned. There is some talk of redheads back in the family but having not colour photos of ancestors who were supposed to be redheaded it's hard to prove. Joy
