Hi I make cakes for fundraising. I get my boxes over the internet from Almond Art (think it's a (,) co (.) uk. All their supplies are really reasonable and there isn't a mimimum order. Alternatively, if you live near any cake decorating shops you could try there, or chat up your local baker! GP

Thanks guys. Would obviously rather get them free so these suggestions very helpful. Paul - I scrounged several off Waitrose a couple of months ago and am already asking them for help with something else so don't want to push my luck, even if I do spend half our money in there! Think I'll try Sainsbury's and Tescos though and the suggestions of smaller bakeries is a good idea too. Daisy

There are a couple of specialist shops in MK that do cake decorations etc, and I know they do these (went in there a while back looking for a bits and bobs for a party (they also do balloons etc). Maybe there's somewhere similar near you ? Alternatively have you tried the larger supermarkets ? They generally have a bakery in store and I sure you could charm them into giving you a few boxes.

Just occurred to me - Wendy would know. She's out today, but if she rings me, I'll ask her to let you know later on, Daisy. CB >|<

Do you have a shop that sells cake tins, cake decerations, icing, marsipan etc... Locally? They often sell cake boxes. If not try googleing cake boxes and you should find something.

Daisy, Ask Fitzbilly's if they would let you buy some of theirs - or any local bakery. I'm someone in a smaller shop would sell you a few, but probably not a supermarket. That's why I keep boxes from hairdryers, etc!!! LOL CB >|<

Need between 10 and 20 cake boxes for a cake stall - large enough for 8' or 9' cakes. Anyone know of a cheap supplier please? Daisy
