No , nothing to do with the family tree.! Anyone played this at Christmas or any other time with a crowd. We play it -you say 'Mrs. Brown`s deid' to your neighbour and they say 'How did she dee' You say 'With her leg up ' This goes round the room then starts again with another action. The little ones love to change the words and know they will get a laugh. Rosalyn

Right here goes. You sit in a circle. 1st person starts by saying 'Mrs. Brown`s deid' (DEAD TO THOSE WHO DON`T UNDERSTAND !) to their neighbour. They reply 'How did she dee (DIE) You reply 'LIKE THIS ' and put your leg in the air. This conversation goes all the way round. 2nd round -same question , with your foot in the air, answer 'LIKE THIS'-2nd foot or arm in the air. 3rd round as above but answer 'LIKE THIS'-making face . 4th round -heading nodding 5th round -collapsing in chair. Does that explain it -hope so Rosalyn

Hi Rosalyn I used to play a very similar game when i was a child but it went Old Mother Magintys dead How did she die? With one leg up and one shut eye .And as you went round the circle you added another part of the body ,and you had to say all the things that other peoplle had said if you got it wrong you were out Bren
